I love playing shows! Was involved in a community musical theatre group for 13 year that performed 6 mainstage shows a year, 6 children’s shows ( mostly plays but some musicals), a benefit fund raising performance, and a youth performance. I think playing pit is a music lesson in itself. A variety of styles, temperament. I viewed the music as a character in the show. At community level we are not hidden. So fun! Not much money, IF there is money, at community.level but had high quality musicians and the majority of whom loved to play shows.
Hey, Cat! So cool that were involved with all those performance opportunities. I agree that pit playing IS a lesson in itself - versatility is key! Sounds like you loved doing it! Are you in the USA or elsewhere?
@@jeremymilos In California! You just came into my feed yesterday. I always check out the trumpet players and subscribe if I like what they say. I am looking forward to checking out the rest of your videos.
@@catspece4933 thanks for that nice comment! I try to do a video every Sunday or so - always love to get feedback and I’m open to suggestions for future videos!
I agree with why take advice from someone who isn’t doing what I want to do.
Thanks for this upload!
Jeremy how much does physical exercise factor into range/power/technique when it comes to this savage instrument 🎺
