A longtime writer and editor at Indianapolis Star and INDYCAR and veteran of on-air television and radio work, Curt Cavin will work his 38th consecutive Indianapolis 500 in May. He then moved to ABC and ESPN where he served as lead announcer for 25 years, covering INDYCAR racing, CART and NHRA drag racing, among many other events. In 2014 and 2015 Page reprised his role as chief announcer for IMS Radio Network and in 2016 co-hosted the 100th Indianapolis 500 with Mark Jaynes. Page was inducted into the Indianapolis Motor Speedway Hall of Fame in 2021. His book, Hello, I’m Paul Page: It’s Race Day in Indianapolis, relays his experiences with not only the Indy 500, but a long list of major events from America’s Cup to Formula 1.
