No I don't think the measurement is the total length of the windshield, just how tall it is with the curve... If that makes any sense lol. If you were to straighten the curve it would be taller than what it's listed measurement is.
Looks awesome, man! I agree it's got a cleaner look than your WIndsplitter, and even though it's taller and a bit wider, doesn't take away from the look of the bike. Nicely done! ✌🤘
Your best bet is to sit on the bike and have someone take a measuring tape from the top of the headlight up to see what height you'd still be able to see over
@@seniorp9444 I've seen those but I'm a little skeptical about them. i bought a stealth rack back when i first got the bike and the paint faded in months.

@@rtbt8185 Got it from my local Harley dealer Alligator Alley Harley. I'd suggest talking to someone at a dealership as mine fit without issue and i do know that their website is notorious for saying things don't fit the newer model. thanks for stopping by!
I’ve had three FS over the years. John and his company are the best in the business.
When taking into account the size of the Harley shield is the amount it’s slanted toward the rider. Technically it’s shorter than the measured height.

Just ordered this windshield for my RK. Can’t wait.
You'll be very happy with this. Retains the look improves the wind coverage. thanks for stopping by!

Thanks for posting, I just ordered a freedom shield for my rks . Do the rubber grommets you first placed into holes come with shield?
No you only get the shield. the rest was from the Windsplitter. Thanks for stopping by!!

How do you like that ss475 cam I have the same bike and will be following your lead with cam windshield but king tour pack any suggestions
Love the cam. Makes it a totally different bike. Pair it with a good 2 into 1 exhaust and you'll be very happy.
After using this shield for a while how does it perform regarding buffeting? Are you going to use fork fangs or do anything else for buffeting?
Very satisfied with it. i have been considering fork fangs, i dont remember seeing anything non chrome for the 2021 RKS.
@@WeRide2 there are black ones on Amazon
@@seniorp9444 I've seen those but I'm a little skeptical about them. i bought a stealth rack back when i first got the bike and the paint faded in months.
@@WeRide2 Have you perhaps managed to find black fork fangs? I have the same black RKS and can only see fork fangs in chrome....
Where did you buy the headlight visor bezel? I can't seem to find it and I think it looks so good with the windshield setup. Thanks brother. Be safe 🤙
