- Finally installed the Road Warrior Fairing on the Road King. This is perfect for those long hauls and the up and coming and ever preset winter. Makes me wish I had this when I went down to Florida for the Forgotten Angels campout. But hopefully this install video helps you guys out! Its super simple and easy to work with. I love Memphis shades and their product. Always such high quality.

You need to go ahead and buy the Memphis shades hand guards, it helps keep your fingers warm in the winter, And It will look pretty badass with that fairing you have on there

Just stumbled upon your video, which is great; thanks to you and Rick for making it. Pretty badass you've got a H-D mechanic as your neighbor! I like the look of the 9" and am curious how tall you are (I'm 5'9" and always in search of an ideal height for windshields).
Thanks man! I’m actually 5’11”. But how the wind is managed with my height, is that I have all the wind starting just below my helmet, but above my shoulders. I mainly wanted all of the wind off of my chest, but still wanted flow through the helmet. So depending on where you want the flow to be, you can pick the windshield you want. Hopefully this helps!
@@FatBoyBob Thanks, dude; that DOES help (i went ahead and subscribed)! I've got a '21 Street Bob with plans to get a RKS as my next bike and was curious. For my SB, I looked at Memphis Shades but didn't wanna take the gamble and be wrong on dimensions. I ultimately went w the Dart "Marlin," which I love for the same reasons as you (just tall enough to be off my chest, yet gives me clean air to the helmet). I'll definitely make this my 1st choice once time to take the plunge to the RKS. Thank you again, and Merry Christmas.

With all the friggin Christmas shopping emails and shit we've all been getting over the last couple of months, your reply kinda fell down in my queue. Nah, not yet; however, with the release of the 2023 colors for the RKS (Vivid Black, Industrial Yellow, and Bright Billiard Blue), I'm going to my dealership this week to put down my deposit. As for handlebars, I'm leaning toward 12" simply bc whenever I've sat on a H-D that has them, they seem ideal for my frame. Looked at your YT channel and liked your video, btw (dig the fishtails and chrome!!)
I have this fairing on my RKS and noticed it really shimmy and shakes at higher freeway speeds. I think the issue is the RKS fairing doesn’t have the headlight ring that is included with the softail version. The ring aids in rigidity. MemphisShades needs to address this downside of the RK version.
I want one but I don’t want to get rid of my light bar. Im thinking the wind splitter might be my best option…. Unless I get an fxrt fairing
Sir, I really like the look of that on your RKS. I've been researching windshields for my 21 RKS and somehow had missed this one. Going back to the Memphis Shades site to check it out. One question, have you changed your bars at all? I'm putting 14 inch apes on mine so I'd like to know if it's going to contact the bars or not. I'm probably looking at the 13 or 15 inch shield as I'm a wee bit height challenged at 5'6".
I don’t think it will. But the fairing does have adjustment point all over it so you will be able to make it fit no problem!
Any update on the fit with apes? I have some on my road king and that’s the big question for me as well.

I’m running with the 9” on this one. I used the 11 and was getting buffeting. And no need to remove the lip! Slide right on top of it.
How you liking it so far and how is it working for you? Also, what are the highway pegs you're using?
Absolutely amazing. I almost never take it off because it does the job so well and I think it looks great as well. And my highway pegs are the Harley Davidson ones. They are the same ones as my floor boards and passenger pegs so that way they all match
Can you measure the centre to centre of the mounting blocks on the nacelle I just want to see if it will fit my switchback as it has the old windshield hardware in the same spot

How tall are you? Im 6’2 and not sure what size of windshield I should get
I’m 5’11. I ended up following the Memphis shades recommendations on getting the right sizing, and wasn’t happy with the results as I was still getting buffeting. I knew I wanted more airflow over my helmet for all of the warm weather riding. So I believe I went 2 sizes smaller than what I was measured to, and been happy with ever sense! Currently using the 9inch non-vented windshield! Hopefully that helps.

It’s the 2021 model year
It fits all Road King Specials. You looked it up wrong.
