Planning a Star 30-30 and VTP 65 combo along with 6.3 injectors too. I know it’s a different cam and intake but the results should be similar. What did the bike make for numbers and more importantly how’d it perform when riding ?

Even though crash bars are designed to protect parts of the bike it also protects the rider from the bike falling on the rider if ever laid down and thats huge. I have had a bike fall on me without crash bars and the injuries are not fun. I noticed you use the flat out bar on your bikes as do I cause I love the look. Do you think they provide as much protection as the mustache engine guard? Seems to me the mustache guard would stop the bike sooner than the flat out bar cause the mustache bar is much lower to the ground especially with the ST fairing. What do you think? Any update for the battery? I got the same one and mine worked great for the first 4 rides now it’s dead and I use the Harley charger made for the lithium battery after every ride and it’s still not working

I feel like it's subtle but slower than like ten it dims down almost like if your like pulling up on a car at a stop light. It dims.

I noticed it does not appear that you used the Advanblack lower support bracket for the fairing but you still kept yout HD crash bar? How did you mount it? Advanblack is telling me thier bracket must be used and if you want to keep the HD crash bar you can try HD P/N 47200927 like the Low Rider ST has but cant guarantee fitment.

Met a guy yesterday. We talked tourpacks. He said “see that bungee? It’s holding the pack closed. I bought it on Amazon and it broke day one. Also the bottom is already cracking”. That’s why I bought OEM.

Harley battery 🔋 is not good enough you should try the XS battery titan 8 big difference and crank amps and reservoir power it’s a little pricey but it’s worth it check volunteer audio

No helmet with an internal drop down sun visor is Snell approved, which is alright with me, I think the ECE standards are better anyway. I've actually purchased helmets from Champion Helmets to be shipped to me here in the US. They have more variety in color options, more carbon fiber options, and I like the ratchet straps common in Europe, and they're generally cheaper, sometimes significantly so. As far as there being no DOT certification, in over 40 years of riding, I've never had a police officer check my helmet.

Great review buddy. Does the cardo clip on mount fit or do you have to use the stick on one ?. Also is the tinted visor that comes with it quite dark ( as in so you can't see your face) ?. I've got this exact unit attached to my FXRP fairing on my 2018 Street Bob. I use it as a head unit for my audio system. My phone connects to this, this connects to my JVC Bluetooth Marine amp and the amp connect to 2 x 8 inch Kicker Marine speakers that I made 3d printed adapters for. Sounds amazing. I have mine just hard wired into the bike. One of the big reasons not to have your phone mounted to your bike is that if you go down, your phone is with your bike. That could be 50+ feet down the road or down in a ditch. I've ridden in all kinds of weather with it. Downpours and heat. No issues.
