Hello, I just purchased the 21 in Freedom shield in Medium gray. I had ordered a light gray tint but found one in the discount garage that I really liked. They called it a blem shield because supposedly it had 3 blem spots in it but I did not find any. I love my shield and it has a engraved skull in it. Thanks for the video!
Nice review! Gets me over the line to buy one 18” also, as i am 5.9 too. Greetz from Holland, The Netherlands, yes the land of Amsterdam and the wooden klumps! 😁🤘 Keep on bringing the good stuff and ride safe brother! 👍
I will maybe order this one. Iam 6,2 and a original 18” sucks for me (buffeting!). 20” the same and to high for me. Does the 18” work? No buffeting with this screen??.? (Duchy too)
I ride with open helmet and with some crosswinds and higher speed there still is some buffeting, but defenately a lot less than an original screen because of the upsweep at the top and screen is wider. If you ride with closed helmet buffeting is a little to none. I like this one the best, got the dark grey. You can add also a little mra window at the top to play with the windflow to try loose all buffeting
I’m looking to get a new shield for sure. I’m not happy with my Harley one because my head still feels the wind. Where’d you get your fuel gauge? Thnx.
Do you still have the Freedom Shields windsplitter mounted on the road king? I wanted confirmation that you have/had no helmet buffeting at highway speed? I'm looking at purchasing.
I think that a normal windshield is better and is more foreward from the handlebars( somit don’t interfere). Then i need to order a bracketset in black for this new screen….thats is the only extra.
Nice shield. I have an 18” one which is perfect for me at 5’9. Quick question. Does yours not have holes going across the shield. Yours looks different then mine.
It’s hard to see in the video because of how dark the shield is, but yes there is holes on the windshield. There is three holes on each side and that is where the mounting bracket lines up to hold the shield down. Thanks for checking it out brother hope that helps
@@GetThisNick helps a ton. I love how the hardware looks on yours compared to mine. I’m thinking of buying a wind splitter as a back up shield for shorter rides. Either way thanks bro. Just subscribed. Keep up the great vids!
@@ewikjason3680 Of course man I’m glad I could help. The wind splitter is great for shorter rides but I just needed something a little taller for the longer cruises. Thanks for the sub!
So me personally I already had the mounting hardware on my motorcycle for the Harley wind splitter, so I didn’t need to change or buy anything for mounting hardware. The shield I bought from freedom shields was compatible with the mounting hardware from Harley so that’s what I rolled with. If you look in the description of this video, I listed the email address for John from freedom shields. I recommend reaching out to him via that email and letting him know your year, make, model of your bike as well as the size of the windshield you’re trying to Purchase. He will give you the different types as well as the mounting hardware needed for each shield. Tell him GetThisNick sent you! Hope this helps brother
Just bought the same shield! Like it alot
I’m very impressed as well!

Personally I never experienced any helmet buffeting!
I own three different sizes/tints. Freedom Shields are NUMERO UNO!!!
Yes I’m very pleased! What’s your favorite out of the three you own?
@@GetThisNick The 20". 16" was too low. 22" for long highway trips
