    Dadpe Pohe Ingredients -
    For Soaking Poha:
    1 ½ cup of Poha
    Water (as required)
    For Tempering Spices and Peanuts:
    1 tbsp Oil
    ½ tsp Mustard Seeds
    7-8 Curry Leaves
    ½ cup Peanuts
    For Assembling:
    2 Onions (chopped)
    1 ½ tsp Salt
    1 tsp Sugar
    4 Green Chillies (chopped)
    ½ Lemon Juice
    3 tbsp Coriander Leaves (chopped)

    The poha have to be cleaned properly. U can put the dry poha in a colander or strainer and wash it under running water for a minute. Allow it to drain completely... Add the ingrediants mentioned in this recipe.. Add freshly grated coconut and it is ready to serve. In Gujarati households, peanuts are not added. We call it Khaman Poha. Easiest, quickest and very tasty snack item. 😊

      Poha is not to be washed in this recipe, you can wipe it with dry cloth if you want as if you wash it, it will become soggy

      Nowadays poha has more dust.. better to wash them and do the process as Meera said

      @@PaviRam1000 yes agreed but when you make chiwda from poha... What do you do? Do you wash it? No right... That is what I mean... In some recipes we can't wash grains... For eg when we make idli we wash udid daal, so much impurities are there in udid daal but in some recipes when we put udid daal in tadka do we wash it??

    Poha needs to washed quickly for 2-3 time so that dust and dirt gets washed away. Lastly Rinse it in drinking water.

    Its good to make poha quickly - but without washing nt at all... Try washing poha once & u'll know so much of impurities would surface...

    Have u seen how Pauha prepare in rice mill? U have to wash if u don't wish disease in u r body

      In the south you'll get pohe in general stores that specially for this famous recipe. Which comes pre washed and dried again.

      Dadpe pohe is famous in Maharashtra and south side , you will get special pohe for dadpe pohe recipe in the general stores, which are already washed and dried and much thinner thn usual poha that we get in other parts of India. So, it's hygienic
