- 1970 Ford F-350 4X4 1997 7.3L Powerstroke turbo diesel. Dana 60 front / Sterling 10.25 rear. NP 205 Divorce transfer case. 1979 F-250 lowboy frame. 160cc injectors TS-6 position chip. Built and owned by Tim Fritz. For sale $48,000 in Beaver Falls, PA
I'm a Dodge Cummins guy but you deserve respect from anybody, that 7.3 is a beast and the truck itself is awesome, this truck is just great from any view.... great job 👍
reliable somewhat, lots of oil leaks and wiring harness issues.
jon doe ur an idiot, you never worked out of 7.3 and witnessed the ass! snatching raw brutal ass power they make you fucking dumbass
jon doe shut the fuck up. you lying jealous bitch! you're nothing more than a broken ass internet troll.
OSSIEL LABRA no you are not, don't lie. I'm a dodge cummins guy... just think about what you said. Cummins is it's own brand.
jon doe how?
Diesel Brothers need to find this builder and put his ass on retention salary. Imagine what he could do with their money and shop? This is some next level build ingenuity!!
My thoughts exactly sir.
Thank you !!! I appreciate that !!!
The perfect truck
This guy is next level! He would take Diesel brothers to a WHOLE new level
@@timothyfitz6618 tim do you have the 70 f350 4x4 powerstroke forsale still if so get back to me asap.thanks
- nick
one of the most dopest trucks iv ever seen. I'd trade my 2008 for it. this guy should be proud as hell
Chase Newell this truck is worth a lot more lol
reading this to myself: "Ya I bet u would"
If your 08 has the 6.4L, I can't believe you bought it in the first place.
Id trade "my" 2008 for a wagon!😔
I would do without the stacks but it ain’t my truck. Mad respect and hella jealousy from here. Super, super slick ride my man.
I agree with you and I'm a chevy guy but these old fords are sexy as hell. This truck is a work of art.
I would do the same bout the stacks 2
@@wyattfollestad8872 stacks are out and its a ZF 6 speed manual now
@@timothyfitz6618 think We can get another update video? im currently in the process of building my 74 f100 onto a 97 f250 7.3 i have so any questions
A great truck, it helps make the original ones more valuable.
How could anyone down vote this video? The amount of work, knowledge and professionalism that went into this build is amazing. Fantastic job. Thank you for sharing this beautiful Truck
Wow, that is gorgeous! 1st class build. Thanks for sharing.
Robert DeMilo And still for sale....lmao. waste of money and a 7.3
nate ivey - wtf are you even commenting for?? You are broke ass and have never built anything. Just another zero talent broke ass never had douche troll. Beat it fool. These toys are for real men. With real money. What a douche tard.
Kip DuBrowa,
You are prime example of whats wrong in American Society today!!!
WOW..........
That’s amazing planning and execution! I have studied a lot of dash mods. This is the classiest I have seen. I love the custom cab factory dash but this fits like a glove. Nice work.
Badass truck it's really cool that you put a 7.3 instead of a Cummins.
Daniel Vasquez why the fuck would you put a cummins in a ford?
AMG BENZ_HAMMER_6.0 you realize f650s come with cummins in them right?
MoparMadness they also came with 6.7s your point
AMG BENZ_HAMMER_6.0 because people do
Cummins Tech they came with cats in them also. and your a big boy you should be able to figure out my point.
Congrats, it looks beautiful! Love this build. If I ever own a dentside ford, I plan on doing a 7.3L power stroke swap. I’d keep the original dash & no stacks though.
Dat's not a dentside, it's a bumpside
Same here. I could tolerate the stacks on a diesel but still don’t prefer them. The dash is pretty sad though. I hate to see the all-steel dash removed and replaced with a big hunk of plastic.
I totally agree with the dash. But since he used the 97 firewall and all it’s wiring, that dash was the easiest way to go. I can see why he did it but I also would’ve liked the older dash more.
@@gervaisbuilds6175 well its a dentside body on a bumbside frame with obs parts and super duty engine. Just a all ford masterpiece.
Beautiful truck man, nice build.
Grayson Reichert ikr
The stacks in the box take away from that “Clean” look. Otherwise, nice job.
I agree
I think its regional. Up north people put mud flaps on EVERYTHING. I understand why, but down south we just think it looks tacky as hell.
Stacks have been removed
Might be the best build I've ever seen
My dream truck would be this build in black/and a manual transmission. Such a beauty.
Lmao..... “let’s go under the truck Jimmy” priceless.... beautiful truck tho..
I would have loved to see it with original dash though
Man I never comment on anything on youtube ever, in fact this is my first one ever. That's just an amazing build
what a piece of art, I would love to be able to build a truck like this.
badass build. Thats coming from a chevy guy
You know I was a die hard mopar fan since I was 2 years old, growing up all I said was ford sucks Chevys sucks and I only like mopar brands, cars/trucks then I realized all cars are good just not Prius’s.
Vinny’sCummin The Prius's are nnnngay😂
Awesome truck but you lost it with the stacks just my opinion enjoy it like I said beautiful truck.
So I'll admit I'm a cummins guy, but this build is awesome. So much time and work went into this truck.... nicely done sir
Son!!! I damn bear knocked over my sombitchin spit cup on that one cuz!!! That one sick as truck seriously well done...
rad i ator
As long as that Rad I Ator is on 4 Tyes it is all good. Better than having it ride on 4 TAR's I guess...
Bearbait01: Too funny. My wide pronounces it exactly the same as this guy does. Cracks me up. I keep telling her RAY-DEE-ATE-ER woman Radiator!!! She just laughs and walks away. LOL :)
Rad e ate or
Lmao I didnt wanna be that guy but yeah. I reject RAD, DIFF and APP too, at a restaurant. Think were takin the abbreviations a bit too far, but thats another discussion.
Lmao
Wow, I am blown away by this build! I’m itching to do a diesel pickup build of my own but haven’t found the right project yet. Seeing what you’ve accomplished is inspiring as hell!
bad ass truck took some time to do that I'm VERY surprised dash is in that good of shape wow where u find that
1 of the nicest Fords I've ever seen.
I'm a Chevy guy.
That's a real truck
Good job. I had a 73 250 high boy. Red the color
Truck looks great, best of both worlds old classic, reliable international Diesel engine.
I'm not a Ford fan but that's beautiful dude !!!
Also 1 of 3 Ford's that to me make history!!!!
That body style is is some of Ford's best wrk !!!!!
Damn nice truck, just not crazy about that exhaust setup. Different strokes I guess.
Probably the best way because the exhaust wouldn't fit underneath. But I agree
also agree. not a fan of the massive stacks in the box. for me it ruins the classic truck.
I think it looks like a teeny bopper bubble gum kid truck because of those stupid stacks.. I think that completely ruins the truck
@@caseyeldridge5557 no it was to get a semi truck look, and more chrome. Im a trucker myself, but i still think stacks are worthless.
@@scottskinner577 you've obviously never lost an exhuast system.
I am head-over-heels in love with this truck! Tim did a beautiful job!
NOW THAT'S THE MOST APPROPRIATE BUILD I HAVE EVER SEEN!!!!FOR LIFE!!!
This is the kind of build that doesn't take away from the already badass look it had, but instead just further accentuated the eye candy and purpose of the truck!. Great work seriously and it's definitely a truck I'd love to own and show off!. 🙏🏻🙏🏻🍻
I've been a ford truck guy for years and have owned quite a few over the years and I can tell you this, you have one of the nicest pick ups I think I have ever seen, you attention to detail is incredible and I love how you made everything fit and work.
You have built one hell of a nice truck and a great year at that. Glad to see guys still have a lot of respect for the Fords. Thanks for sharing
My husband and I did the same thing with a '78 Ford. We put a '97 7.3L in it with the original 5-speed transmission. Very cool, though.
Viv Morgan 7.3 didnt come with 5-speed dip shit so we know ur lying right off the bat dufus
james palmer they came with a five speed manual dummy
hahaha you must be trolling... many 5 speed 7.3s on planet earth
james palmer lol funny cause my cousin has a twin turbo 5SPEED 7.3 gtfo James
Lmao James 😂 do you think about things before you say them or are you just a natural dumb ass? They came with a 5-speed. Called a zf5. Do your research if you wanna try to be a know it all douchebag. ✌🏻
Gretta Thornberg does not approve of your mods.
Who really give a shit what she thinks?
im going to say this too i hope that thing never gos on tight trails
Legendary truck, 10/10 mint. 🌎
Lmao..... “let’s go under the truck Jimmy” priceless.... beautiful truck tho..
😀😀😀🦾🦾🦾beautiful truck sir, my only problem is the high flow airfilter, keep the intake stock because you dont want to dust the turbo and piston rings.
Amazing swap! Love it when guys keep it in family instead of swapping in a Cummins/duramax or an ls. Fantastic work!
Good job!!....why did you leave those ugly chrome strips down the sides on? Look up pics online with this removed and smoothed out....looks so much better.
I love highboys my grandpa had 2 of them
Its a lowboy. 79 frame
That's how that truck should have been built back in the day you did a fantastic job on that truck and I like how you did to stacks instead of having dual exhaust him blow on fumes I people you'll saying goes blowing coals I wouldn't put a back rack on it before I did the stacks very nice though
Best build I've ever seen of ANYTHING on UA-cam.
EVER.
Sweet truck.. my 64 K20 will look like that one of these days
that is beautiful but it only needs 1 thing and that is a manual transmission
This truck looks amazing and the attention to detail is awesome! From using the cut out of the 97 firewall to making the 97 interior look like it could have come from the Factory like this is just legendary! Great job
awesomeness, tator sauce and 'Merica!
man dont use a cold air intake like that, thats the worst thing ever done to a diesel. get one that is a cold air intake but still actually filters the air enough to save the engine
fine job, you can be proud!!
4:40 dang ♥️🔥💨💨 the bad ass coal trails dude. Why not make another vid with the stacks!!
Very sharp, excellent build. That dash looks so good in there.
Jason Campbell: That's what I was thinking too...and what TON of work that must've been to transform from the 1970 all steel version!!!
That is a gorgeous truck my friend. I am a Ford Powerstroke man and I love the build man.
Siiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiick!!!!!!!!
Probably built and sold 150 '67-'72 Chevy/GMC 4x4's before you were even born---hate Ford and Dodges passionately but that son-of-a-bitch is "bitch'in" guy!!!!!!!!!! Great build--talent!!
Jim Kiesau , did you know 1 in 3 Chevrolet owners is just as gay as the other 2 ?
Badass build brother....Go DURAMAX hunting!🤔🖕
Ashley Parnell Lol and do what get smoked?
I’m looking to buy something like this. Anyone know of anything like this for sale?
Truly beautiful
That's a beautiful truck! Very nice job! I'm liking these restomods more and more.
She’s beautiful! But damn the dash killed it for me 😭
Bad ass truck but the stacks ruined it... too bad...
That’s very impressive. I agree with a couple comments, let’s lose the stacks please.
The stacks are stupid and what stupid kids do.... that ruined it....
Very nice! Awesome upgrades. The 460 was a good motor, but that 7.3 was a better option IMO for torque delivery and fuel economy. Even switch over to diesel makes that cab tank a little safer to use as well.
Amazing job at mixing the old with the new. I like!
I knew you were from PA before i read the description, you say Rad-iator, not Ray-diator. Hello from Lancaster, awesome truck!!
Very nice truck thank you for the video
Dude I admire your work cause it's a splinded truck. Is it a custom ford powerstroke 4x4. That truck is like 55 grand or obo .I love the interior . You should work in a professional shop
The stackers gotta go, it's a pick up not a peterbuilt. other than that, it's a nice rig for sure
Nice build! Looks really clean. Well done, man.
Super impressive. Great attention to detail. Awesome fit on the dash. Well done!
That is one of the best looking rebuilds I've seen. I'm from that era, my brother bought a '72 F250 4x4 new, mine was a '76 F150 4x4 new. For all my Chevy/Dodge friends...thanks for recognizing the talent of this builder and the beauty of this vehicle without being a dickhead and spouting off just because you're not a Ford Fan. Yes that's not a '70 grille, it's a '72, so what. Just so you all know, the '71 was different yet again. I personally don't care for the new style dash, I really liked the original, but I totally understand why he had to do it, I imagine because of the electronics, etc. I also would prefer a manual transmission, but hay!, it's his choice, right?
Great job! Be proud of it!
Slick conversion. Def not 40k cool being a single cab but really a sharp looking and sounding build.
Looks pretty nice
awesome truck! Not a fan of the stacks but to each their own! absolutely beautiful!
Beautiful truck man, great damn job!
Awesome build. Thanks for keeping the old ones going.Great job man!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Holyt crap you found a 90's Ford radio that works and has a display?!! LOL one of those in working condition is rare as hen's teeth! That dash swap is amazing did you do all the work yourself? This is absolutely amazing what a great job! I'm blown away at this truck!
Purpose built with non of the worthless gizmos and power stupidities, that is what a pickup truck should be. This would drive the price way down and the reliability way up. The stupid intelligent gizmos are nothing but garbage waiting to break. I have a very basic vehicle I bought new in 1996. I still have it and drive it daily today with 403,000 miles on the odometer. If it was a vehicle like one of today's over engineered garbage, it would have never made it this long without extensive and constant repairs.
The only thing I honestly don't like is the color... Everything else about this beautiful truck I absolutely love and would want. Thanks for sharing this with us and I hope that someone is still enjoying it!. 🙏🏻🙏🏻🍻
The PowerStroke sound coming from that year of truck trips my brain out. Not really a Ford guy, but that thing is friggin' MINT! Nice work for sure and love that factory looking touches.
Sick bro, let me know when you want to sell it
this thing is perfect.
I don't like Ford, but...BADASS! How in the hell do you get a 90s dash in a 70, and make it look like it should be there?
I am a chevy guy but that is one nice truck you did a great job on it and you don't see them trucks around anymore. That truck could see up to 40-50 k on the sell block.👍😊
Beautiful truck James. I'm buying a 1997 F-250 7.3 Power Stroke truck for just $5,000 dollars with only 265 thousand original miles on it with very little rust that just needs a transmission put in it... The cool part is I'm selling my 2002 F-250 Power Stoke truck for $16,000 thousand dollars That only has 146,000 miles on it so, I'll be able to get the new transmission for it and do all the body work on it plus anything else I want to do on it plus get a Brand new 7.3 Power Stroke engine for it at J&K Engines for it also maybe... So my dream truck is going to come true finally!!!
I have A 95 f350 Power stroke with a 110000 miles on it. Above it from a friend of mine nobody knew I seen it the day he bought it. Used it for Holland hay and cattle to course. The slaughterhouse. Part of this barn all the time. Boxes starting to rust out one quarter pound is bad both of them Would have been bad So. Anyways word recognition is not working very well but I'm gonna. Say is? I. Need a? New quarter. Pound? And a new Box. Your truck is sweet man how long did it take you to build this? I love the seventies that's my 1st truck 73. Ford
Yall ,no what I like about em the long bed and the front grill but it needs a back bumper
I've Owned , Seen and been in A LOT OF TRUCKS , every make and model ! That's probably one of the Cleanest builds , Coolest builds in that category , I've ever seen !
Nice work budz...no mickey mouse work at all. Very top shelf!! I'm wanting to do this to a rare 79 F350 4x4 dually dump truck. Would be my dream truck for hauling firewood and landscape materials 😎💪🍁
Too cool man , great build .
Nobody really appreciates your excellent workmanship until they attempt to build something like this. I’m currently in the middle of mounting a 1940 Ford ton and a half cab and bed on the chassis of a 2001 F-350 dually 4x4 7.3 Powerstroke. Believe me when I say it, job well done my friend.
Very cool brother very cool truck. Probably my favorite body Fords . Great build!
Well I wasn’t gunna say it but Chico below already did , I would have used a Cummins 12v but it’s a
mute point cus I ain’t got your skills (or desire any more lol)
Again great build and THANKS for sharing!
That is the absolute bomb....
To bad Ford doesn't build them like that today....
I have an Uncle with 72' three quarter ton 390 4 speed....
Candy apple red.....
Beautiful truck, great job....
WOW, 10/10 from me ! i don't know how you can put up with it that high though,, way too high to be practical for me anyway. Looks like a 72 grille, definitely not a 70 grille, or.....? Hot truck, i would love to own it. Also, what an amazing job with that new dash, looks like a NIGHTMARE job. lol.
Hey nice job on this build. What size tires & rims are on it? Did you build this truck yourself? Cool rig!
Super nice man. I have '60 Ford F100 4x4 that I took the body off and put on a '79 high boy frame a few years back. I kept the original interior and metal dash as it was all in primo shape. I was going back and forth between a 7.3L and a 429. Then I bought a new F350 dually with the 6.7L so I went with the 429 to make a hot rod 4x4. I also had a 1971 Camper Special in high school with a 390 and I think a 350 turbo trans but I can't remember.
Absolutely amazing work. I'm not a fan of how much red there is on the interior..... But I didn't build the damn thing lol. This thing is truly a piece of art that I hope survives GENERATIONS to come. It's 2020 right now and I hope you would be able to tell me this truck is living on, true and strong to the way you built her
I read 200+ comments and all were favorable and some...if u were selling this truck it should have sold very quick...im a Chevy guy and I would pay top dollar for it...except 4 the fact I just bought a 71 nova for the strip...but hat's off bro, it's a beautiful beast
That 7.3 almost doesn't sound right being in that beast. Either way I love it, and I never thought about it that the dash and stuff would fit in the 67-72 bodystyle! I will have to remember this. Did you happen to check your mpgs? I'm sure it's not great, because it's a big truck and made for fun, just curious.
I love it, it's a great truck, and built properly. I'm a cheapskate and hate computers so I would have went with a pre 92 7.3 or 6.9 engine and dash, but yours looks great and I'm sure you love it. :)
That is beautiful
