Athens is gem of a place, all those graffities and vibrant food joints worth visiting for Greek food. We have a few Greek restaurants in Qatar as well with Santorini ambiance but trying authentic Greek food on local streets is something we crave for, specially the sweet part. That street market reminds me of Grand Bazar in Istanbul. Love to see Athens from your lens
It's so worth it to travel here. Something I talk about in an upcoming video is that, no matter how good a restaurant is in another country, there is something about trying it in the home country at a local spot that has decades of tradition.
Knowing a bit about Greece and its delicacies, the country offers so many delicious things to eat and drink, and you get the impression that the Greeks do it with a lot of love and pride for their culture and cuisine.
I enjoyed seeing the temples. Amazing that they have been kept in such good shape considering the age. Simple foods always taste the best - the olive oil with bread and grilled fish looks so yummy!
Ooh a hidden beer bar caught my attention! I think Greece has such delicious food - I can't wait to go back and try more of it one day. The Ancient Agora and downtown Athens at night looked like great places to explore.
I have been wanting to get to Greece but it hasn’t been on my top priority list. But once you got to the hidden bars, I was sold. Brings back to similar memories in France when I went on a hidden speakeasy tour. So much fun!
I am keen to visit the iFeel café and try their brunch. And afterwards, I would love to walk on those alleys with artworks/graffiti which add vibrance to the area. Your presentation of this part of Athens is 10/10! Cheers!
What an incredible tour of Athens' Monastiraki and Psiri neighborhoods! Your exploration really brings the heart of Athens to life. The Greek food looked absolutely tempting. I'm curious, what was your favorite dish during this tour? Thanks for sharing this journey and giving us a taste of Athens' tourist gems
I really like the history and culture of the Ancient Agora is very nice. I like all the statues and architecture of the area. The streets look very lively and the hidden bar looks great.
Now I am jealous! The olives. Yum! Scenery is beautiful. Are all the Greek coffees taste the same? I've only had Turkish coffee though. The Greek lasagne looks amazing. Great job Ben.
i think having a meal or indeed drink in view of the acropolis sounds amazing! And the city looks so cool Ben - how long ago were you there? so many tavern and atmospheric places to eat, and who doesn't like Greek cuisine?? great vid as always!
That French Toast looked wonderful! Yum to the Greek coffee as well. All of the food looked so good. This video makes you hungry. Once again, thank you for the great food tour and history .

Days I wasn't shooting I did a lot of walking through the Monastiraki and Psiri neighborhoods. You can just get lost in those streets.

Turkish and Greek coffee are basically the same. There are slight differences in the roasting but, it's relatively the same.
The tour of the city and the food looks good. The downtown in the evening was superb. The best food was the lunch, yum....
For Greeks lunch has become the biggest meal. It's the best

I was at her for a whole month. Still have several more videos of Athens and Day Trips to come. I did a deep dive.

You're welcome.
ICH LIEBE DAS VIDEO UND DIE MUSIK! DANKE
What about pricing?
Most of the meals were less than or around 10Euro
Thanks for your videos 🙏 Tip: I think Psiri is pronounced "Siri" not Pisri (silent P)👍
I honestly wasn't sure I was pronouncing things right the whole time 😂. I appreciate the correction.
Easy to get Greek wrong 😂Thanks for sharing your tips @@AdventuresOfATravelingDon
The p
‘P’ is not silent. It is pronounced psi-REE
I have to go back to Athens
I concur
