I love Greek food, just without meat. There are great appetizer pletes without meat, A good tsa tsiki is always apprecisated. The Greek salad with feta is so delicious. Of course I also love Galaktoboureko.
I completely agree Michael! The greek cuisine has some great vegetarian/vegan options 😋 Especially during lent (6 weeks before the Orthodox Easter), there’s vegan food everywhere.

Last Sunday i ate vegeterian mousaka. If it had bechamel made by almond milk would been vegan.
I also like revithokeftedes which is vegan and plenty other similar recipes.

this is really strange, as a local whenever I go to Krinos they are always fresh and much fluffier and crunchy than that of the Lucumades shop.
I think we got unlucky with the timing and we ended up getting the old batch :/
it's like rib soup here..i also sometimes cook it with carrot potato and red bean..haha..yummy..and somehow i don't like okra.. .. 😰 ..

I literally can't believe that you like Lukumades more than Krinos.. I'm not sure if it is paid promotion. It's a super touristy place and the dough is like bread..Of course when you put these modern nutella fillings, it will taste nice.. But you compare this with 100 year old Krinos, the traditional recipe, once you enter is full of locals.. It's like prefering Monastiraki touristy souvlaki over traditional old recipe Kostas souvlaki in Saint Eirini square!! Please I hope that you don't.. My god! Please people try old lukuma places, there are a lot in Athens.. Please don't visit Lukumades place.. Super low quality and touristy.. They taste like fried oil in bread with nutella on top..

Lol τουρίστας νομίζεις είμαι; Ξέρεις πόσους λουκουμάδες έχω φάει;;; Του κρίνου ήταν οι χειρότεροι που έχω φάει ποτέ. Απλά είπα την αλήθεια..δεν ξέρω ποσά χρόνια έχεις να πας η αν σου αρέσει να τρως χαρτόνι με ζαχαρονερο…γιατί έτσι ήταν αυτοί οι λουκουμάδες. Δεν υπάρχει κανένας λόγος να μιλάς έτσι σε κάποιον που ούτε καν ξέρεις. Θα μπορούσες απλά να πεις τη γνώμη σου και να σταματήσεις εκεί. Την επόμενη φορά που θες να πετάξεις δηλητήριο χωρίς να υπάρχει κάποιος σοβαρός λόγος, σκέψου λιγάκι γιατί τα λόγια έχουν συνέπειες 😉
Εγώ συμφωνώ με την κοπέλα...γιατί πρέπει ντε και καλά να έχουν μόνο τα τουριστικά μέρη ωραίους λουκουμάδες? Ο κρίνος και το άριστον ..επιτέλους όχι ..θα πρέπει να πηγαίνουμε και σε κανένα συνοικιακό μαγαζάκι που πίστεψε με έχει πολύ καλύτερη ποιότητα από αυτά!!! Εγώ ας πούμε όταν πάω Αθήνα ποτέ μα ποτέ δεν πάω : Μπαϊρακτάρη,Θανάση ,Κώστα για γύρο!!! Ακριβοί και σιγά ....έχω φάει τον καλύτερο γύρο στα Πατήσια! Έχω φάει τον καλύτερο λουκουμα στον Πειραιά!!! Ε μα πια..
