I have lost sight of what makes life truly amazing. Growing up with asian parents and had attended competitive schools with a lot of ‘fake’ friends have made me lost sight in gratitude. I cried after watching him because it hit me to my core that I have taken everything for granted and that I should be grateful for everything. Everytime I complain about something, i remind myself of him. What a guy

It is a small gift which help you to retrospect yourself, cherish the small things and moments in your life. Just go onwards to your target, be chill, be humble, work with passion and you will be happy.

Probably the most difficult part of being asian is dealing with fake friends.
Most of us do realise they are fake yet we really can't do anything. I mean I too was a "victim" of this "friendship".
I'm a bit nerdy and shy due to which most of my "friends" used to take advantage of me by making me complete their assignments and notes .
If I refused then they would guilt trap me and constantly pick on me even during the class. Whenever I would confront them about it they would say "that's what real friends do man. Just chill"is what they would reply with.
I guess it was in 7tg grade that I realised that they aren't my real friends. That was the frist time I actually confided to my parents about what was happening and they were shocked.
They forbade ne from associating with them any further. Fortunately my brother and my childhood friend were there for me which helped me to move on. Looking back now I can't believe how dense I was thinking that they were my actual friends.
Even now my ring if friends isn't large, its quite small tbh and it only consists of 3 ppl
I am really glad that I found them cus I can say that they will have my back and u will support theirs.
If anime and memes taught me anything it's that one real friend is more worth than immeasurable countless fake friends.
