New Zealander here, jacinda Arden changed my vote from national(right wing) to labour(left wing), her actions over her term have earned my vote, she has taken us through new zealand worst terror attack, pandemic, and she has done it all successfully and sympathetically
QUral Williams it’s amazing to see this different style of leadership being so successful - a style more focused on compassion, care and honesty than on grabbing as much personal power as possible. It’s very inspiring, I just hope other nations can follow in suit.

@@quralwilliams9716 I know a lot of National voters that have sided towards Labour due to her but they were generally fence sitters who leaned to National. I don't like Jacinda as prime minister, I think she is a nice person I just won't be voting for her based on policies. I think she has generally done quite a bad job as prime minister, from job creation performance, to poor economic development and revival from the virus, failed projects and promises like Kiwibuild and the misuse of tax with it being too high, I also don't like her general government spending the money that is going to get poured into the rails and ferry industry is ridiculous. She won't be getting my vote, the one good thing I like about Labour is that they back Jacinda and believe in her, I just personally don't think she will deliver. That said National suck right now, tossing and turning from Bridges to Muller to Judith, not a big fan of Judith Collins. I won't be voting Labour and it is unlikely I vote National. The only leader and politician I have some sort of faith in is David Seymour which is why Act party will get my vote.

Can we just take a second to step back and realize that the PRIME MINISTER is so connected with her country and her people that she sees a cool dude on Twitch making wood carvings and telling stories and is like “I’m gonna go pay this dude a visit and see what he’s about.” And she’s GENUINELY INTERESTED! This is so wholesome on so many different levels and it’s just beautiful humanity in action and I love it! (And also her being considerate and asking if this particular carving is sacred and if it’s respectful for her to work on it)

I've always wanted to carve, or work with wood... i guess it's one of those things you just have to do, and not wait for a good reasons to. I feel like Jacinda is the first prime minster we've had who is a genuinely good person. I may not agree with all her decisions, but I trust her to make decisions for the right reasons. :)
