I found ur channel the other day and I've been binging ur vids a ton these past couple days. With that being said this is just..wow. Amazing. Mad respect bro esp since I've been considering doing the UA-cam/twitch thing to supplement my VA disability money. This sort of thing motivates me, seeing that amazing people like you are in the community.
Honestly this video was actually very helpful to me motivation wise, especially with the goals I have in mind. It is a harsh thing to accept but sometimes despite your skill and your strengths in something, someone much less capable in the same category can be luckier than you and go much further in whatever they are striving for, but it does not mean that hard work doesn't pay off, because no matter what happens, one way or another the hard work being put into whatever it is being put into, will most definitely lead to something being given in return.
One time I donated a guy 20 bucks and he started crying and he was so grateful. It really can be the small things that could change peoples situations.
The thing about Charlie is that while he can be very vulgar and dirty lol hes not malicious. I think thats the key to his "chaotic wholesomness", as Robert McDaniel put it.
Always cool to see a success story paying forward. And perhaps being public about it will inspire others that can to do the same type of thing because to a small streamer it's a big deal for them.

Props for pointing out how important and foundational Siglemic was, I really got into his stream when he was doing runs every day for a month, and the rest is history. The Siglemic era into the formation of speedrunslive and boom of speedrunning predates a lot of what people know as Twitch today, and I don't think Twitch could have gotten to where it did without it

I love this 😍 I used to be a big ish streamer back in 2015 but now i have a kid i just do smaller streams. I always loved raiding people with like 10× their viewership to give them a boost, and it really made me happy to see them have a chance at something they love doing. I still raid people but with about 20 people instead of the 400 haha. Seeing the streamer smile makes me feel so happy
What a guy. The channels I follow are all different sizes and categories, but they all have one thing in common: the streamer is passionate about what they are doing. I'm glad you're positively reinforcing that idea. I'm one of the little guys, and I feel comfortable saying we don't do it for the views or money...but it definitely is appreciated and won't go to waste! Good on ya.
Charlie gave the bulk of his UA-cam earnings to charity during some of the platforms most profitable years. He barely talks about it. He is so humble and kind. Props for pointing out how important and foundational Siglemic was, I really got into his stream when he was doing runs every day for a month, and the rest is history. The Siglemic era into the formation of speedrunslive and boom of speedrunning predates a lot of what people know as Twitch today, and I don't think Twitch could have gotten to where it did without it

I love this 😍 I used to be a big ish streamer back in 2015 but now i have a kid i just do smaller streams. I always loved raiding people with like 10× their viewership to give them a boost, and it really made me happy to see them have a chance at something they love doing. I still raid people but with about 20 people instead of the 400 haha. Seeing the streamer smile makes me feel so happy

The channels I follow are all different sizes and categories, but they all have one thing in common: the streamer is passionate about what they are doing. I'm glad you're positively reinforcing that idea. I'm one of the little guys, and I feel comfortable saying we don't do it for the views or money...but it definitely is appreciated and won't go to waste! Good on ya.

Charlie gave the bulk of his UA-cam earnings to charity during some of the platforms most profitable years. He barely talks about it. He is so humble and kind. Def one of the most genuinely good people on Twitch and UA-cam. His mind is quick as hell and he has a huge vocabulary that he puts to use to hilarious effect without any prep at all. Love this man.
