Can’t speak for the new Pokémon, but I watched werster grind gen 4 and the first hour is just this really precise RNG manip and I think that’s super interesting

Hey AverageTreyVG. Big fan of the podcast, currently caught up to the mirth episode. One question though: you guys keep describing speedrunning as "playing a video game really fast", but could you perhaps explain what a video game is for us less hardcore listeners?
