Thanks for the support! Hope you weren't effected too much by the storm.
+KONIG WHEELS USA we both made it through alright, thanks ! I'm am hoping to test my new wheels at the track soon! -Travis
Sick Wheels! Car is looking nice, can't wait to see what it can do on the track.
Very nice, these have been very popular lately with the price and quality! I loved the Dial-Ins when I had them, super light, handled tons of abuse just like these will!
+Jon Widmer good to know thank Jon! When I bought them in May most sites were sold out of the matte grey so I got lucky
Nice pick up bro, it's nice when people go outside the box with their wheel choices 👍
+Mumble thank you!
Dayummm...she looks amazing man! I'm sold on those wheels
I just bought konigs 16’s all black for my Honda hatch and love them! They are light also and great price . $900.00 with new tires. You did good
Just ordered for my em1, can’t wait to see them in person. Not running as an aggressive tire as you though. Just a 205/50 Dunlop.
What offset were the wheels? Cool if you don't remember. It was 4 yrs ago you posted this. Lol. Cheers!
Great job with the wheels bud. Got an old set of Konig Greenlights on my daily and i love'm! Cant knock it till you try it. Keep it up!
+Anthony Del Rio thanks !
Have the same tire setup for my RPF1s and 949s. They grip real nice.
+Yer Vang Great! thanks for watching!
I've been waiting for this video for ever lol
They look really good, i really like it.
+V. Chronicles thanks a lot
looks amazing
Sick brotha loving the looks
+carlos valencia Thanks!
Beautiful set up bro. Looks amazing. I actually have the same rim on my EK sedan. 16x8. Very light weight rim. Love the look. Would love to send you a pic.
great choice on the wheels. keep up the great vids love them. are you guys going to put any bracing on the cars? i have on mine a 3 point front strut bar. a cross member bar. a H bar under the car. a rear strut bar. a rear lower tie bar. a C pillar bar.
+luvyourmomspie thanks for the support! I am definitely interested in doing some bracing. That will most likely be the next thing I do but I want to do some track days with this set up and feel out the car before I add anything.
pretty kool...i enjoy your vids...
+cetcivic thank you !
What offset are you running? I like that the spokes don't stick out that much.
Looks great
+Joshua gsxr750 thanks!
love the wheels bro!
+avaloscris38 thank you!
Dig the new look!
+Mario avalos thanks !
Hi Trav, I don't think you mentioned the wheel offset in this episode. Can you share with us? Thanks! Love the combo btw
+Don Izzo thanks buddy ! I forgot to mention the offset it's +35mm
Refine Movement thanks!
Going to paint my steel wheels on my 98 civic build, but down the line we'll see.
got the same rims lol. their really nice.
what size front brakes do you have?
I called it!!! Konig Hypergrams!!!
throw some honda center caps in
I got rpf1s. What you got? Nuff said
Those are some nice wheels! Although why not ditch the arch liners altogether?
+riot68 thanks ! I was almost going to but I figured it might help keep large objects from getting caught behind the fender.
Different for sure, I like that! They say, be a leader not a follower lol! Nice, now where's the other guy rob I think? Haven't seen his Civic in a while.
+Haan Tronix Robs videos will be back starting July 17th.
Just bought a set today my my time attack EG I am building. I may do a build video on whole thing. I got 15x8.5 with +20 offset so wider and more aggressive than this so I'm a bit nervous but I want it wide. I should be ok with just rolling fenders.
Yeah definitely roll the fenders
@@RefineMovement yeah I decided to sell...I think 8.5 width with a crazy offset would be hard to deal with. You made a good choice on this spec.
any chance of weighing the old combo vs the new? kudos on the great choice.
+Spoon Fixer I think the Konigs are 1lb heavier with the tire installed. I'll try and weight them in the next video
Sweet wheels
Thanks ! I am happy with them and there a great price
those would look good on my crx😀
you are one funny mother. keep it up.
Question, on this video you are running big brake kit on the front ? And if not do you think would fit with this wheels ?
Stock brakes
I ran the BFG g-force rivals on a FRS for awhile. Really are a great tire and very inexpensive for the quality and grip of a tire.
+JeremyShred that is great to know! I'm excited to see how they do on track!
Why didn't you go 15x8.5? Love your videos!
15x8.5 with 25 offset won't work well on civic.
What size are these
nice bro👍👍👍
I just bought some 205/50R15 tires (the V2 Concept 2’s) now I’m looking at rims, I’ve heard 15”x6.5 and 15”x7 are both good choices. I personally like the 15”x6.5’s, any recommendations or advice?
205s can Fit a lot of wheels even a 15x8 wheel but there will be some stretch. Personally I wouldn’t go smaller then 15x7.
Refine Movement yea I’m going with some König or Focal X 15x7’s for the 205/50r15 V2’s I just got
Very nice setup! Can you tell me all specs (wheels+tyres)?
+SenaEJ8 thanks ! wheels are 15x7.5 and tires are 225/45R15
perfect ride height
+GetLikeUs thank you !
Nice wheels! So light! Wow!
Personally, I'd go for a tad narrower tires for more response, but that's a sacrifice most people who track don't want to make, I guess.
ps. What is the offset for this wheel? What is the offset and width of your previous wheel?
I understand your concern with the width of the tire that is what a lot of people our saying. But I wanted to go as wide as possible for more grip to see how I like it. They are used tires so I can switch it up soon if I dont like it. The offset on this wheel is +35. The old wheels were 15x6 +45
Refine Movement Ahhh, so with your current wheel's offset, you have a difference in scrub radius of -8mm (more negative) from your previous wheels.
This is calculated from my own scrub calculation method: a +0.5" increase in wheel width requiring +6mm of offset to retain the scrub radius. So from 6" to 7.5", a total increase in offset of +18mm will retain the stock scrub radius.
Now that you have slightly decreased scrub radius on a double wishbone suspension, it becomes closer to zero. Theoretically, it should decrease steering weight (feedback), reduce bump steer, have less dynamic toe-change during accel-decel, and slightly increased torque steer. Have you noticed any of these changes?
the offset still high, I have 15x8.25 with +17 offset and my other set 15x9 with +15 offset, and all those wide rims fit perfect on my rear eg hatch, only problem was the front for 15x9 was way out, looks like Mexican style. lol 15x8.25 barely cheating but I can get by no problem on my turns, I stick with 195/45 tires stretch so my tires don't touch the inner fenders left and right full turn no rub at all from inner fenders or any suspension parts (also no Rolls on my fenders), with 3.5" height front bumper under with no lip exactly 3.5inch height off the ground
Dude, your 15x7.5 it's a good rim but not wide enough for my preferences I like wider rims, only problem the wall of your tire still too high at 225/45 no stretch looks pretty high to me with no stretch. I do heavy turns left and right and I like quick responses and smooth love my set up on my tires, I just run the life out of my tires too fast lol... but hey winning it's winning, :D time attack or circuits track that you are doing, I want to give a try go there.. what's the info of the track you guys go in Florida ? any website and rules info
❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
any issue with the 225 rubbing on the rear trailing arm?
+R G911 nothing yet
What offset are you running with the new wheels?
Aah sorry about that I didn't see the other comment asking about it
+Widesnicks123 +35
What offsets are they? Cheers
+36
What offset do u have?
+35
What's the wheels and tire specs
+David Irigoyen wheels are 15x7.5 and tires are 225/45R15
yes.. i got it right from the previous vid :)

thank you.. i will send you a DM here my address .. hope that won't trouble you to send international postage.
i'm from malaysia :)
What's the size and offset?
I’m pretty sure I talk about it in the epsidoe
what are you doing with the meshys
are they for sale?
+Adam White Sr. I haven't decided yet. They maybe a good back up if I need them
What offset ??
PedRo Ferreira +36
hey Travis. your car is looking better every video. hey but I miss Robbie.
+leoboy191 thanks! I miss him too LOL he'll be back on the channel in 2 weeks
Refine Movement can you at least tell his eg has had progress done from all this time he has been gone?
Hey man, Robbie here, nice to be missed by both you guys lol! I have a video coming in two weeks time. An update on the EG. No, nothing significant has been done to my car in the time i've been absent but I have a cool update to show you all in this coming video and then I'll be showing off my new wheels as well in a video shortly after that! Thanks for always watching all the videos we put out on this channel!
Refine Movement Robbie!!! can't wait to see your video. hurry up lol
lol hypergram day one 2013 WRX 17x9
I watched a couple of the videos. I'm going to go back from the beginning and watch the whole project. I have a 99 EM1. I also have a very light wheel and not ran by many people in the Haunted World anyway. I have 15 x 7 oz superleggera. Don't look too shabby I don't know all the ins and outs of what Konig has done with their new stuff I hope you get some great luck with them
Thanks for watching. I looked at those wheels you have there good. the reason I choose the konigs was for lightness and the cost
Refine Movement I understand completely. My buddy Auto crosses a CRX he bought te37s and sold me the wheels with Nitto Neo gen tires with 70% tread for 500 bucks no marks or anything on the wheels he rotates them out quite often
If you haven't planned it yet definitely look into the cheap big brake upgrade. It's the one with the Mini Cooper rotors for the front I've done this with bigger calipers and stainless steel lines made a huge difference
Nice wheel I been looking for those wheel. Where can I get it or what brand is it?
Thanks. They are Konig Hypergrams
Those are stock 97 GSR wheels.
I wouldve got rpf1s
+HEKTIC458 ok that's cool, you and everyone else.
Weight reduction at 17:00 haha
+Kevin Nguyen lol yes! So much crap came out of the fenders!
Let me buy the meshies off you!!!
+Ernesto Juarez Im keeping them for now as an extra set unless u want to make me an offer I can refuse lol.
Refine Movement let's trade wheels so you'll have a pair still. Lol
What is the offset?
+36
EJ not EK bro
+Keith Robertson yes I know it's an EJ6
LMAO yeah bro, I got the EJ8... I see you live in Florida too see you on the track one day soon hopefully!
Awesome!
If you haven’t caught on yet, most everybody in the USA uses EF, EF, EK as general generation markers, NOT exact chassis codes.
why do people still put those hideous "bumper rubber bands" on the fenders and bumpers? That shit was like back in 2006 and it wasn't cool back then either.
Agreed. But it’s super helpful when I have to take the bumper off over and over and over
