Window malfunctions/regulators, control arm bushings go bad, terrible shock absorbers/suspension issues. Valve cover gaskets begin to leak at over 100K miles especially in warm dry climates no different than any German brand. VSC/Check engine lights up, the head unit keeps malfunctioning which keeps you from controlling the radio/climate control buttons with an error message (internal system not connected). Nothing what i have been experiencing with the LS430, (it barely has 150k) i was sold on the idea of how its "the most reliable car ever". What a crock of overrated bullshit".
@FOOQ GAMING compared to what? Regular dealer service is much cheaper than regular service at Mercedes or BMW. At 105K miles all my electrics work. I’ve had to deal with the stupid control arms (it’s a bad design) but the air suspension hasn’t been replaced yet. Unlike pure GDI engines you don’t need a carbon cleanout at 100K miles (because it still has port injection). The 8 speed Direct Shift transmission from Aisin is dead reliable. Compared to running an S-class it’s cheap. In 56K miles over the last 29 months the total maintenance and repairs (with tires and oil changes and brake pads and a battery of course) have cost me about 3600 USD. What luxury car do you drive that’s cheaper?
@@texlad04 Compared to a Hyundai Equus of the same year Owned mine for 5 years and the only thing I have spent money on is tires and maintenance.....cheap maintenance I change the filters myself...$25.00 for both. Oil changes at the dealer..$70.00 for synthetic
The main issues with the LS460 are the control arms constantly breaking and the very expensive abs system breaking. The air suspension is also very expensive to fix it does break.
I just bought a 2004 with 150,000 miles on it. Spent the extra $1,200 to replace the timing belt. I still have some suspension bushings to replace, however, it is 16 years old. This is the best car I will ever own. Everything works. So smooth, and the V8 kicks ass. I love it !
@@mothboyskater3793 If you get it done at an independent mechanic with a good reputation, not at a franchise shop like pep boys, then that is what you would expect in price. It should be done every 90,000 miles.
I scored a 2006 LS, and it's the best car I've ever owned. It is effortlessly comfortable and it looks absolutely fantastic in Cypress green and chrome 18"s. This is hands down the best used car that $10k can buy, in balance of extremely build quality/reliability with nearly as many features as a new car. I came from both an E34 5-Series and a W212 E-Class, and my LS430 is superior to both.
The only thing that ls430 was lacking was outside sporty styling! Thats when the ls460 was amazingly styled but lacked the ls430 great reliability! That ls430 was very nice!
I added a grom bluetooth in the cd input so use with phone and answer calls on steering wheel but for music too. Put the mid and treble knobs basically to zero and the sub down a bit. The mark Levinson wakes up and sounds fantastic. The car has a coefficiency of drag of .25 which betters almost all super cars. The drive "fun" in it is what I love. It torques very well much faster than a is300 2jz same year. I have tried a is250 2012 and what a yawn. It manoeuvres incredibly well and I love cornering with it especially with 17" 225 55 if I recall. It is a total constant adrenaline rush especially going on the highway. It is incredibly safe and a solid car and has a firewall in the back so no fold seats. Just a monocoque of safe. My doors close by themselves once you closed to first click then it pulls shut in 2002! Black leather interior with 6 fans in the seats and back, w red wine wood trim. I love it for many things you don't or don't mention but I thought you would do a 0-60 because it is surprising and that V8 sounds glorious. For winter the vsc is incredible. I admit though I paid 1200 for mine.
Yooo I’m looking into getting one for around 7 ground with full ultra luxury package with brand new seats they are like a brown/tan color I love them hopefully I can get it this’ll be my first car if I get it 😍😍😍
I had a 2007 IS350, now I have a 2007 GS350 and I can feel how much you love the brand and the car. Very nice and refined video. Hope to see more of it
I have a 2003 LS 430, pearl white with the very light tan interior. Chrome wheels to boot!!! At this time, it has 112,000 miles on it. It is perfect. The only thing I have replaced is the battery. I have also a 2003 SC430 which I absolutely love. It has 30,000 miles on it. It is gold with the same LS430 color interior. My third car i switched up with a 2014 BMW 335 GT Hatchback. I love it too. Black with the orange and black interior with 30,000 miles on it too. I have to say of my three cars, my favorite car to drive is the LS 430. It’s beautiful. I’ll always keep it! If you can find a beauty, grab it! You’ll never be disappointed!
Amazing. I’ve put 12k miles on it already. I’m completely astonished how from day 1 the ride quality and the car itself has held up so well! Honestly I lost a tire from not aligning it after driving 8k into it but that’s it. I had it aligned and ever since I’ve been driving seamless. As a daily driver, it’s very comforting, quiet, and powerful. The V8 alone does make you faster than 70% of most cars Anyways so it’s got some legs when on PWR mode. 10/10 overall.
Honasty21 Money 1800, 218k miles and it wasn’t the best looking cosmetically but inside was actually nearly flawless aside from cracks on the steering wheel wood and a small line crack on the driver door but it’s very faint. Mine is considered the modern package and i love it. I’m more happy my 430 is running OEM coilovers instead of the air suspension so I saved another 1000 or so on making it brand new if that ever broke. Overall I put about 1000 total with water pump/timing change and tires/brakes. For 3000 total you can find a car like mine but for how cheap I got mine it was worth fixing it and now the 430 has taken care of me
Zuea Xxeroa agreed you did good those things last my radiator lasted til 280k everything else still original I should change em but it runs so buttery smooth don’t wanna fix anything if ain’t broken and that’s how Lexus reliability is
I have the JDM version of this car, the 04 Toyota Celsior. I have driven every generation of LS, and this one (LS430) is by far my favourite. The engine and transmission are just buttery smooth, and the car itself just feels more substantial and weighty in a good way. It's great to experience a time gone by when cars were really made to last, not hollowed out pieces of aluminum you can throw out in a few years. The back seat is by far the best place to be in this car, clearly meant for executives to be comfortable back there.
I bought an LS 460 2008, in January 2020, 74K miles,. $13,500, Lexus replaced the interior literally, four-door panel, top dash, and lower because in hot weather these parts feel like melting, I love this car, the most luxury car I ever own, these cars were sold for $70K on the new years. Beautiful machines,
I've had my '98 for 22 yrs. and everything still works. It had its first repair early this year, otherwise just usual wear items...batteries, tires, etc. I never let the dealer touch it and do my own oil changes, brakes, etc.
I just stole one of these from my coworker. 2002 for $1500. Just over 80k miles. It’s so clean. I stumbled onto this car by chance through a conversation. He said he pushed the PCV valve grommet through the valve cover and didn’t want to mess with it. Turns out the grommet was just torn. Just replace the grommet. Looks like it will need a radiator but what a deal.
@germaine thomas Baltimore. I do not plan on driving the SC in the snow or ice. Had a rear wheel drive car before & tried that...never again. I have a SUV for that.
My father bought a 04 LS new, ran it up to 280k, sold it to my aunt, it now has over 400k and the only thing that’s been replaced on it that’s not a typical wear part was the water pump and they did that preemptively - it hadn’t even failed yet. I remember being mesmerized by the oscillating fans.
i just bought one of these yesterday to replace my ls400. 2002, base package, 120K, all maintenance up to date. looking forward to picking it up tomorrow!
Just bought a 2005 LS430. It had just one owner and has 98 thousand miles on it. All of the service was verified at a Lexus dealer in my area. The car has one minor problem that won't ever be an issue. It is the Flint (dark gray) with a black interior. I have owned two LS400s in the past and love the brand. So when I saw this listed I bought it quickly. I got it at a little over $9500. What I really love is the very comfortable, quite, and smooth ride. I wouldn't trade it for anything.
Nice review and congratulations on the vehicle. I own a 2013 GS, and looking to add this to my collection. You sold me on this. One of the things I keep battling with is the timing belt maintenance but the way it drives, you tend to not even think about it actually.
On my third LS. The only car I would ever consider purchasing. Just picked up an ‘02 Ultra Luxury Edition. It’s glorious. Only gripe is that the LS UL air suspension shocks have a life span of about 120k. Then they begin to leak at the seals. Replacement is very expensive.
@@medicalnegligence I've never noticed my air pump running and have 116k. I did notice a code while using the Techstream software, I'll look into it more, I had the perception it was a pending code as no code appears on the dash. My car is very comfortable, I'll research this more, thank you. Would you recommend I pay the dealer to diagnose it? If they are just going to read the codes, it wouldn't be worthwhile. I am thrifty, but have moeny.
I have Lexus ls430 2001 and it has 325000 miles. Original engine and transmission. Just regular maintenance. Every 100,000 miles timing belt pulleys water pump serpentine belt thermostat replaced. Every mechanic says that my car can go over 500000 miles easy if l keep up the maintenance. The best ls430 year is 2005 last year they were made.
bought a 2006 a few months ago and love it. took it on a road trip last weekend and got like 26-27mpg on the highway. I decided to get that greenish-gray color, because I have had nothing but black, gray, and white vehicles pretty much my entire life. it looks good in just about every color though. I got the base-ish trim. I wanted the good rims, but did not want the infotainment because I didn't want to deal with the ML stereo and old screen. I assume I will upgrade the head unity and install a backup camera, and then I will have all the tech I need for my daily commute.
I really wish I didn’t dislike the styling of this car....I prize reliability and dependability in a luxury car, and this by all accounts is what the 430 is. That front end is so homely to me though... I’ve had my 2000 LS400 for 10 years, and before that I had a 94. I love the LS400 like no other.
I’ve always enjoyed big cars and V8s since I was 17. And your review is good. Including that ML which is junk. But I’ll take it with the upgraded packages. Very nice classy video.
I had a 2005 jaguar XJ8 for yrs, I loved it but just wanted something new ...I looked at one of these on several occasions ...I’d only consider a 04-06 ...they are gorgeous ...more so over the following generations ...my only objection was that it’s only avbl in RWD ...I ended up going w/ a Mercedes s class v8 4matic! They look very similar! I’m a Mercedes and jaguar kind of girl ....this Lexus model is the only Lexus I’d ever get!
I always have an eye on this car the 430 is the best lexus I have reliable cars but I am getting older and I spend 1 hour lunch in my car every day I would like to sit in comfort in the back eating or sleeping. I have 2 little girls and can imagine they would love the back of this car. I like the mercedes s class but the years I can afford are too unreliable. Good video
A very nice review I want LS430 even more now I had an IS 250 but needed an estate car and exchanged it for a low miles Saab 95 which felt pretty poor and unrefined till I got used to it, a Lexus spoils you with refinement fit and finish.
Great minds do think alike even if we don’t agree on everything, but we can on this fact no doubt!! If I was a Millionaire, I would buy at least 5 of these to last me the rest of my life they’re that well made.
Just bought a 2001 UL ls430 with 54k miles, it’s mint condition and by far my favorite car I’ve owned, plan on keeping this thing till it doesn’t run anymore

Bought my first official car got an 03 ls430 with 176.5k when I got it rn it’s sitting at 178.2 smoothest sedan I’ve ever been in. Beats any of the cars we’ve had in the family whether they were newer or older. Wanted to buy a car that’d last a long time. I’m glad I chose the LS . Wanna buy a burner to baby her and keep the miles low and have the other one as a build for drifting possibly (maybe an older is300)
Use to drive my parents Altima 2.5s it’s was coo till that engine blew 😂 had the 4 speed auto so the tranny was chillen but blew a gasket and got coolant mixed in the oil. After that experience I couldn’t imagine owning one with a cvt ☠️
I also have the black cherry pearl that I purchased a year ago with 55k miles. I’ve tried to sell it at least 6x recently and can never follow through...just can’t let go of a perfect car! Yesterday I decided this car is here to stay!!
I have an 04 ls430 UL with 130k on the dash. Absolutely love it minus that i have to fix the front wheel bearing/ hub. But other than that, this car was ahead of it's time
Great build quality, ride and dependability. My wife's '04 Ultra has 76K miles and has never failed us, but it is not without its faults. It is the usual suspects you may find online. Peltier unit, amplifier, a/c compressor and a "gooey" trunk release button. Other than that, we have only done routine maintenance. Dealership is attentive and responsible. Air suspension has given us no issues. Lack of use means frequent battery changes. It does not handle or steer in the manner of a German car. Our S-Class was a better highway vehicle, but a maintenance nightmare. If someone offered me $40K for my LS 430, I would respectfully decline.
In 2012, i bought a lexus Ls 400 with 172k miles on board for $1100. This car served me for almost four years and i drove it for an additional 45k miles with no issues untill i blew the head as i failed to check the coolant level. Since that day, i miss this ls 400 soo bad, its a true legend.
Nice story and I totally agree. I leased my second LS430 in 2005 and bought the car at the end of the lease. Today it has 137,000 miles and I just replaced the factory timing belt, pulleys, tensioners, serpentine belt, etc. Since I have owned it (except for tires and breaks) I have replaced the front right wheel bearing and front shocks (68,000) and one muffler. About to replace the steering column up and down motor. Crazy. I Love the ride the V8 and the handling.
I am surprised at the criticism levied at Mark Levinson audio. I have an 05 LS430 and am delighted with the quality of the CD system. Back in the 80s and 90s I had a music studio and did a lot of recording with Nakamichi equipment, which was expensive in those days. Some of those early cassettes and CDs sound better in the car than they did in the studio. (unless my hearing has deteriorated, which it probably has). Love your video, and yes, it is the best built car in my eyes.
I own 2 RX's and the Mark Levinson stereo is most definitely an upgrade from the premium audio system from Lexus. A stereo that is professionally designed to accommodate the driver, when no one else is in the vehicle, that's the latest and greatest Gold RX 350 in my drive way. A stereo on wheels. It took me a full year of waiting and searching before I got my new baby - Goldie. I'm laughing my head off every day, as this was the only expensive thing on my bucket list.
In love with this bad boy as my daily but my weekend playboy is my 2003 q45.....i will never purchase a brand new car for as long as i cam keep purchasing these years badboys 🤷🏽♂️
Great video bro, I enjoyed it. Just some headers, noticed you were a little nervous and that’s all good. For the sound system it’s actually pretty damn good, look into a cassette converter to aux. then you can begin actually listening to music 😃👍🏽
I have an 05 ES330 and this video hits the spot when I can't drive. Lexus really killed it with the interiors in this era. I had my eyes on the ES to save some money but I could definitely see myself upgrading once I get a garage. Both amazing cars imo.
Nice bro how do u like the drive overall I love mines every time I drive her that’s why I’m never getting rid of her she is a keeper I own a 06 LS430 😎
I purchased a white 2004 just like this one. You get in, close the door, and poof! Silence. And as you said, I struggled to stay awake on long trips because it's quiet as a vault and softer than a bed. I had to open the sunroof and blast 90s music just to stay awake. Incredible.
I have had four since 2002 starting with a 400. Terrific cars. Have a 2004 now with 77K miles. Had it for six years. Have replaced the timing belt and control arm bushings along with the trunk and hood lift rods. That's it. My buddy bought a BMW 750 back in the day and got destroyed on upkeep and persistent pesky problems ALL THE TIME. He averaged $2,300 per year on repairs. Ha Ha Ha
My parents used to have an 06 just like yours. Awesome cars, for sure! About the Mark Levinson...for some reason FM always sounded horrible but with CD it was the best car system I’ve ever heard. Old school, but have you tried popping in a CD?
Dude, no disrespect . You know nothing about audio. You put Bose against Mark Levingston. Total disrespect. By the way I own a LS430. The RL doesn't compare . Sorry
Just picked up a 2002 LS430 with the UL package. It has 280k miles but holy cow it drives so smooth. And I was averaging about 27mpg on my 200miles road trip back home. I’m very impressed with this car.
Imran Haque It uses SEF injection (Sequential Electronic Fuel Injection) instead of direct injection. It is in fact a form of port injection. Each cylinder has one or more injectors.
I would say just get the facelift ultra luxury model with every single option available (I did and very happy with it since few years back). I don't really care if it's gonna be unreliable or what, just fix it if it's break, at the end of day it's still a Lexus. There really is no point of buying a luxury car without luxury features.
I owned an LS400. 1991 and it was great but not perfect. It was plagued with a design flaw concerning the power steering pump. The LS430 doesn't look as svelt as the LS400 but it is mechanically better.
I own a 2002 and have 171,000 miles on it. It’s the smoothest and most reliable car I’ve ever owned. I replaced the timing belt at 131,000 7+ years ago and plan on replacing it again soon as I don’t want to replace the engine. If this car ever dies (as in totaled in a crash) I’ll buy another used one rather than a more expensive newer car that’s inferior in quality.
I own an 06 LS. 119,000 miles. Excellent condition. I want 1 or 2 more. I will not buy new. I hate these new computer robot built cars with batteries and pissy little V4s that will not last. Plus hard seats and no looks. Big mouth like look. Ugly! If anybody has an 05 or an 06 LS with less than 50,000 miles on it in excellent condition let me know. I prefer about 35,000 miles but I’ll go higher but not a lot higher on mileage. I’ll pay good price but don’t try to rip me off because I know these cars very well.
Great video mate, you're refreshingly unannoying for young chap! I'm looking forward to getting either the 400 or the 430 as my first Lexus but I'm dreading the repair bills seeing as here in the UK we only get the top spec UL with the problem screen, problem air ride and problem soft closing door mechanisms and the list goes on!! It's still gonna happen though!
it's interesting you complain about the mark levinson system, my mums 2007 IS250 has one as well, and that system has been replaced 2 - 3 times because it has broken, not sure how, as her car has somewhere around 100,000 KMs on it, which is barely any, and she takes great care of it.

say that in the clublexus forum
I just want to be sure i can put a supercharger on one for less than 6k.
Currently drive a 2011 LS 460 Sport Edition. I am going to have a Lexus forever.
@@texlad04
Compared to a Hyundai Equus of the same year
Owned mine for 5 years and the only thing I have spent money on is tires and maintenance.....cheap maintenance
I change the filters myself...$25.00 for both.
I love it !
Tony Tad is that about what it costs to have the timing belt done? I need mine replaced and have been dreading the cost. But 1200 isn’t bad
@@mothboyskater3793 If you get it done at an independent mechanic with a good reputation, not at a franchise shop like pep boys, then that is what you would expect in price. It should be done every 90,000 miles.
Tony Tad good to know. Yeah I’m about 4K away from the change. It’s been done once at 94 k.
Is there anything to be a main concern with the car i’m going to buy one in the next week just worried at going into the unknown.
@@JMF924 what kind of mileage? If it’s been well maintained, I’d do it without hesitation.
I love my LS430 04 even after 282K miles
Lexus was a wonderful automobile company, until they changed that front bumper in 2014. Smh
Thank you for recording this and doing what Doug Demuro has refused to do on this car.
Doug can come review my car anytime he wants!
I remember reading a review where this car completely beat everything else in its class.
The only thing that ls430 was lacking was outside sporty styling! Thats when the ls460 was amazingly styled but lacked the ls430 great reliability! That ls430 was very nice!
460=ugly
All you need is some jdm toyota Celsior parts
LS 430 body is timeless infact it looks much way better than latest cars.
Thanx for the info bro I own a 2006 and never getting rid of her she is a keeper no doubt about it 😎
Yooo I’m looking into getting one for around 7 ground with full ultra luxury package with brand new seats they are like a brown/tan color I love them hopefully I can get it this’ll be my first car if I get it 😍😍😍
My 03 with 290k miles still runs smooth to the bay everyday most comfortable commuter
WOW an 03 with 290,000 miles and still running smooth, that's really impressive....
MERCEDESBENZS600 BASH Yupp I’ll post more vids on my page soon,. I’m still driving this thing to work

Don’t get rid of her bro I’m not getting rid of my 06 LS430 she is a keeper and pampers me every time I drive her so quiet and powerful 😎
The best car ever built
I had a 2007 IS350, now I have a 2007 GS350 and I can feel how much you love the brand and the car. Very nice and refined video. Hope to see more of it
Yes - Best sedan ever!
It took me 6 months to find my 2001 LS430 for the price I felt satisfied with, after a little tlc, best decision ever.
Hows the ride quality in your 01????
Zuea Xxeroa how much did you get it for
Honasty21 Money 1800, 218k miles and it wasn’t the best looking cosmetically but inside was actually nearly flawless aside from cracks on the steering wheel wood and a small line crack on the driver door but it’s very faint. Mine is considered the modern package and i love it. I’m more happy my 430 is running OEM coilovers instead of the air suspension so I saved another 1000 or so on making it brand new if that ever broke. Overall I put about 1000 total with water pump/timing change and tires/brakes. For 3000 total you can find a car like mine but for how cheap I got mine it was worth fixing it and now the 430 has taken care of me
Zuea Xxeroa agreed you did good those things last my radiator lasted til 280k everything else still original I should change em but it runs so buttery smooth don’t wanna fix anything if ain’t broken and that’s how Lexus reliability is
if you need a chauffeur for a while. im your guy. i do a good impersonation of “The Transporter”. I enjoy driving!
I have an 05 with 137k Only car i won't sell
I got a 2014 lexus LS460L. I'm the second owner. Bought it from the lexus dealer. I love it but would have been fine with one of these.
Damn man you stole it. Congrats on your buy :)
I have a SC430. Same engine but dropped in a 2 seater hard top convertible. Love it!
@germaine thomas Baltimore. I do not plan on driving the SC in the snow or ice. Had a rear wheel drive car before & tried that...never again. I have a SUV for that.
I own a 05 UL package, hands down the best car I’ve driven! I have to slap myself awake when driving in it because it’s sooo smooth and quiet 😆
Yeah it's an amazing vehicle that is still unmatched today
i just bought one of these yesterday to replace my ls400. 2002, base package, 120K, all maintenance up to date. looking forward to picking it up tomorrow!
Who wrote the piano music? Reminds me of the old Lexus commercials
Reminds me of the Truman Show with Jim Carrey.
Sounds like that Philip Glass crapola.
I got a 08 LS 460 back in May and yes I agree with u I should have gotten this far earlier such a great car
Me either bro never getting rid of my 06 LS430 she is a keeper 😎
Same here… running or not it stays in my garage… it has earned the right to be there… wonderful luxury car.
Do you get a code when they go bad?
No code is produced. You can see that the wheel will sit deeper in the wheel well on the affected shock and the air pump runs more that usual.
Design-wise the LS from the 90s to this model were great. Love the classic boxy design. Not a fan of the current design
Last year was the 2006 bro I own one and never getting rid of her 😎
bought a 2006 a few months ago and love it. took it on a road trip last weekend and got like 26-27mpg on the highway.
Just bought a 2004 with the Green/gray color. Called Cypress Pearl. Gorgeous color,. The LS430 is tops.
Love my 04. This car is timeless
Me too bro never getting rid of mines she is a keeper 😎
I disagreed the Mark Levinson is way sounds better than the Bose which is on the verge of bankruptcy as a company.
I just caught a 03 with 65000 miles on it definitely my favorite car and I own Mercedes and bmw
Just bought a 2001 UL ls430 with 54k miles, it’s mint condition and by far my favorite car I’ve owned, plan on keeping this thing till it doesn’t run anymore
Great video Bro I am looking at a 2003 Lexus LS 430 with 126000miles on it they are asking 7200 for it need some advice good buy or not !!!
picked mine up in California for 5k clean interior paint just needed a restoration but my bros a detailer and the maintenance was done. it has 213k miles and I have had it for 2 years and has never left me stranded always starts right up and just floats on the road. Best 5k ever spent oh yeah and its a premium 2005 model mica gray gray guts.
You should be able to keep that key in your pocket and just turn the knob there to start the car.
I have an 01 thats black cherry pearl ... under 75k miles I put nice new rims and tires on her shes is mint
Are you willing to sell this car?
Also mine’s got a straight pipe which might seem dumb but the 3uz sounds fantastic
I had a 2004 white ML version with the chrome wheels. Wish I kept it.
Wow sorry to hear that bro u should get a LS430 now
1100$? That’s a STEAL! Holy shit lol
Chris Pritchard it’s funny because after I made this video I tried CDs and cassettes and they sound way better than normal radio audio
The best car ever built is the " W140 S Class " i ownd a 1992 for 22 years , never felt safe in any other car but the w140 .
love your car, ill be getting my self a ls430 soon, currently working in Pa, im from Texas lol
I have the same vehicle except for the peanut butter interior. Mine comes with cream
Got it at 130k mi.
Incredible.
I agree it's the most reliable car.
Doesn’t compete with Land cruiser. I’ve driven a couple of these and every one has a check engine light.
Ha Ha Ha
They actually aren't bad in the snow with snow tires. I have a video of mine in the snow if you're curious. Nice video, by the way.
Lexus for ever
My parents used to have an 06 just like yours. Awesome cars, for sure! About the Mark Levinson...for some reason FM always sounded horrible but with CD it was the best car system I’ve ever heard. Old school, but have you tried popping in a CD?
I’m second to the FM signal on Mark Levnson system. I own a 2006 Lexus SC 430. Love the 6 disk CD player. Rarely listen to FM.
I want to get one, but I also want a car that’s good on gas lol
Very nostalgia video man 🙂

I owned a '01 and agree it is the finest automobile I have been in!
Beautiful car, great job,I look forward to owning one soon.
Enter the TESLA Model 3. Maintenance costs $980.00 in three years.
Is the engine on this Lexus a non interference engine?
No. It is an interference engine.
@@jeremiahharris6051 cool thanks do you know if this car has direct port injection.
Imran Haque It uses SEF injection (Sequential Electronic Fuel Injection) instead of direct injection. It is in fact a form of port injection. Each cylinder has one or more injectors.
Great car. Great review. “I’m a land yacht fanatic”! LOL..,Made me want one. I’m in Texas so hopefully I can find one as nice as yours!
there’s a decent one in houston right now, check it out. its black on black 67k miles, $11k
I would say just get the facelift ultra luxury model with every single option available (I did and very happy with it since few years back). I don't really care if it's gonna be unreliable or what, just fix it if it's break, at the end of day it's still a Lexus. There really is no point of buying a luxury car without luxury features.
I like that you told us what you didn’t like. Audio is really important to me and not a lot ppl go over that in the reviews. thank you !
If your really into audio hold out for a non navigation model. Thats what i did, you can put in any double din you want and go from there
I owned an LS400. 1991 and it was great but not perfect.
If this car ever dies (as in totaled in a crash) I’ll buy another used one rather than a more expensive newer car that’s inferior in quality.
my brother and I have 1993 tercels clean and no problems 🤣🤣👏🏼👏🏼
I’ve driven a couple LS 430s and the magic is lost on me. They seem ok.
it's interesting you complain about the mark levinson system, my mums 2007 IS250 has one as well, and that system has been replaced 2 - 3 times because it has broken, not sure how, as her car has somewhere around 100,000 KMs on it, which is barely any, and she takes great care of it.
this car was ahead of its time...
