No need to slam the rear trunk it will auto shout by just lightly lowering it then a moter takes over . And rear seat pass they into the trunk for stiff like golf clubs etc . Rear frig on ultra lux models . When working the rear trunk is auto ..plus more .. the car is a BOSS!!.
11th hidden feature - place your key in the driver side key hole. Turn your key to the right 2x. On the 2nd turn hold the key on the 2nd right turn. This will open all of the windows.
That thing in the tool box that you've no idea what it is - that's a torchlight. Those batteries? They're for the torchlight. Honestly, most of the stuff are obvious and perhaps the only thing I'm unaware of is the last feature but that may differ from model to model.
Check the inside of your glovebox for a trunk override button. My 2014 ls460 has a trunk lock button in the glovebox that doesn't allow for the trunk to be opened from the outside. Most likely a security feature so someone doesn't try to pop your trunk if your in gridlock. Or at least thats my guess.
11th secret feature. Beeb the horn three times in a row and the grill drops to reveal a rocket launcher, just like the FAB-1 on the Thunderbirds! Press and hold the PANIC button to launch!
Very nice video I knew about all of them except #10 which is very cool and useful, I didn't know it was there ,the trunk has soft close but if it has been slammed down it's probably broken ,the little drawer under the driver seat is where I keep my 9mm Glock ,which is quite convenient.
These aren’t really hidden features. A cool hidden feature would be how when you move the drivers seat forward or back the head ready automatically adjusts
@@ashleydavekeeparker3484 so In the backseat there’s a console that you can pul down in the middle of the seats, once you pull down that console there should be a panel behind it when you pull down that panel there’s a compartment that can store about six beers that’s kept cool by the air conditioning
Half of what you mentioned was neither hidden nor a secret lol. With the features you mentioned as your standards I would have mentioned the small pop out to the left of the steering wheel. I had my car for like 3 months before I even noticed that thing
With Toyota Chechstream on a Windows XP laptop or a diagnostic tool compatible with the car, you can change the behaviour of the sunroof. It comes in the sliding mode from factory, and what I did both in the LS400 and LS430 is to activate the tilt mode when holding the open button on the fob. I also disabled the auto tilt away of the steering column when swithing off the engine, because the tilting mechanism usually breaks when using it too much. I also activated a feature to lock and unlock all doors automatically when the transmision lever is in D and P. It can be changed to only unlock the drivers door, all 4 doors or no doors. There are some other features I customized that I can't remember.
Mercedes, BMW, Jaguar, Bentley,Audi , Cadillac are all overrated, overpriced money pits that fall apart after the warranty runs out,all the mechanics at my nearby Mercedes dealer drive Lexus for peace of mind and money savings.

Also the steering column if you click 5 times any way it moves a tiny bit more when maxed out
Did not know that!
Don’t do that eventually messes that shit up n it ain’t cheap lol
That’s what he missed. It works too. Nice little extra.
another tip with the tool kit - you can pull the screwdriver shaft off it's handle, and it'll reveal a phillips and flat head you can swap around
that thing is a flashlight
You forgot the down tilt side view mirrors when backing up

My 06 ES330 had it, really helped on hot days before getting into the car
Cool video. However, you don’t have to double press the unlock button for window roll down. Just hold it down.
Is there any button to roll windows all after locking
trunk release you pointed out is the receiver for the key fob
It’s got the gooch rocket vent 😮I’m getting one
😭😭😭😭😭😭😊😭😭
I really like those generations of Acura & Lexus
Great video. I just purchased an 05 and am in love. Such a beautiful, refined, comfortable and gorgeous driving machine.
Just bought one a few days ago. I am overwhelmed as happy to see so many cool features 😂
Are you satisfied cause imma buy one maybe tmrrw
when my fellow techs heard that i bought one , they all agreed that this is one of the best Lexus ever built. @@ryandiluccia9175

Yes I have that feature. I have a 2002 lexus ls430
Lexus has been doing thay for a while even our 98 sc300 has a key lockout on the trunk release lever. Pretty good stuff!
Gray interior details and steering wheel. Reminds of Wheelchair tyres 😂 same gray.
Nice! Was debating for awhile but I’m sold now
5:15 - Now THAT's (for your) nuts!
Is that the Lexus from the getaway on ps2
To release the trunk with that button you gotta have the key fob on you.
I think originally the back door was the same color as the rest of the car.
Great video - thanks for sharing. 👌🏼
I like these pre-facelift ones. I guess not many people do but they look just right to me
What is pre facelift??
@@benjaminmeza5372 2001-03 are pre; 2004-06 are facelifted
A lot of good information that I can use. In #9, it is a flshlight.
That thing you didn't know in the toolbox was a flashlight..... Come on!

Dude if you care to check the owner's manual out you would literally find all these plain sight hidden features.
Not everyone has the owner's manual, you dingus.

you have a base model then

Thats even better bc the screen has aged
You can easily upgrade to a double din radio when you dont have the navigation radio. I wish i had it in mine
