Oh, come on. Dude did his time, was paroled, and is now living safely overseas. Leave well enough alone. His attorneys are all but telling him...enough.
Absolutely. I remember this case well from the local coverage in the DC region. Go back and look at the trial, testimony, and all the rulings. These "podcast" legal eagles are usually wrong.
I was at UVA. When the murders happened. People were convinced a cult did it because of the amount of blood and that it appeared the murderers danced in it. Haysom has never sought out interviews and says he did it while also admitting she made up lies to persuade him to do so. Jens said he would become a monk if he was freed, dedicating his life to God. He is mostly on the interview circuit in Germany. I think DNA testing would reveal something but I can see why he would not want to throw himself into more legal problems. Or he did it and has convinced himself he is innocent since he was manipulated by Haysom. I never thought they would get out of prison. But it is evidence in the end, a polygraph or DNA but since he is paroled I imagine he won’t risk it.
@@EricPollarrd the netflix series said it is because of her half brothers (she lives in Canada now where they are) requesting for her not to grant interviews on this anymore.
The Reporter made a big mistake by saying that Söring himself asked for DNA testing in 2009 wich is WRONG, the DNA tests were conducted by the state of Virginia as part of the post-conviction DNA testing and notification program. Söring never asked for DNA testing and never will 😂
The podcasters did a fantastic job. They had started their investigation while Soering was incarcerated and had contact to his supporters. The problem started as the supporter got in touch with the Wright Report. Since then, Soering is paralyzed that the podcasters could be on the mission to prove his guilt. As far as I know from their work and personal contact, they are absolutely open to an forensic outcome of this case, and they also think in the direction that both could have done it. That is the most likely version because there are the most hints for this version! What can we see from Soering. He only citates his lawyers...hmm...no lie detector test.....hmm....
The rental car mileage might be circumstantial, but is totally convincing evidence. Jens rented a car that weekend and returned the car. The mileage on the car equaled almost exactly the mileage of a round trip to Haysom's parents--it was something like 720 miles. It was not a short trip. Plus, Jens is not claiming the cops used coercion on him. Jens made a perfect score of 1600 on his SAT. The cops were not that bright at all--the main cop might not even make a score of 800. And Jens did let them know how thick he thought they were. I can't believe the two podcasters are wasting their time on this dipsh*t. Jens reasoning behind his refusal to ask for the DNA does not add up. He knows he was there. It would have been better for him to demand the DNA and keep his fingers crossed they didn't find any of his. And they might not have because--as I remember it--Jens did some cleaning up at the scene. But he didn't get convicted on account of his O bloodtype--I don't remember anything about that. Jens turned out to be a very good criminal. He and Elizabeth were on the run in England for a good while. Jens figured out some kind of a check scam.
They both did it obviously
Yep.
They both murdered Elisabeth’s parents.

"According to podcast host"
I don't trust podcasters at all.
I have seen this Documentary. It was very Interesting.
He did it.

I think they got the right people convicted
I don't trust podcasters, well most of them. I dislike online sleuths. Those kind of investigations should be left to the authorities.
Left to the same people who get false confessions??? Are you kidding??
So, law enforcement has zero interest in finding the real killer!
He will never request new dna tests. Cause he and Elizabeth did it. Elizabeth is laying low.
