Hey Food Box HQ Family! Today we're unboxing a new seafood delivery box called Alaska Gold Seafood to give you our review of these guys. Interestingly, they're a fishermen-owned co-op. That means they aren't owned by a singular person but rather a group of local Alaskan fishermen who all come together and split up the business together.
We received their king salmon and halibut. While the salmon was delicious, I have to say that the halibut blew me away. It was full of flavor, incredibly meaty, and tasted fresh (even though everything was frozen). Very impressed! Though, I will say this is not a cheap service but, as they say, you get what you pay for.

I love ur channel 😍
Thank you so much for watching! I really appreciate the kind words 😃
Thanks for the review. You failed to give it the smell test before cooking; the best way to judge freshness. BTW, I have been buying AG for a number of years. On occasion it was not fresh, but perfectly edible. Most fish (non-oily) should have a sweet smell if really fresh.
Thank you for this very informative video! I am going to try them out. Have seriously ramped up my fish consumption in recent years. Mackerel, salmon, herring, tuna, etc. :)
Thanks for the review!
