- Who makes the BEST bunny chow in Durban? I'm not going to try and answer that question, but I will give you my ten FAVOURITE Durban bunny chows 😄
On day 62 of lockdown I had to have a bunny, so I placed an order with Hollywood Bets' handy online ordering system, and started thinking about who makes my favourite bunny. This simple meal of a hollowed out loaf of bread, filled with a gravy rich curry, often bean or lamb is a Durban staple, and one of the best things about living here is the opportunity to try out the hundred or so places that make them!
So in no particular order, these are my (current) favourite Durban bunnies:

always remember going for a bunny from a van at snake park in durban round about 1980. half loaf filled to the max. memories. makes me feel old. 44 years old and still remember. phenomenal

Man, this makes me miss Durban so much!! Been in Gauteng for a few years. After more than a decade here, I still have not found anything to beat the likes of Gounden's, Canecutters Umhlanga, Hollywood Bets Springfield Park and, of course, the Britannia!!! Great video guys, and awesome review! I've just pulled out the Pakco Curried Chillies after watching this! 😉

Pineapple beer?? Sounds divine!
Its delicious, and actually really easy to make! Basically just water, yeast and sugar, with a chopped up pineapple, some ginger and lemon grass for flavour. Brewed for about a week :)

@@CosmicPanda855 Life is generally manageable, but our Covid situation is unfortunately getting worse and worse, we are currently one of the worst affected countries in the world in terms of new cases. Also alcohol has been rebanned after being allowed for some weeks! Back to the pineapple beer 😖
