I just found your channel and absolutely love it. Thanks so much for all of the amazing recipes! A suggestion: the picture above your couch is far too high on the wall. The middle of the picture should be 57-60 inches or 1.4-1.5 meters or 144-152 cm from the floor. In groups if pictures, treat the grouping as one large picture then find the middle of it. It's a very common mistake. Hanging it at this height will make a huge difference.
I really appreciate Aaron that you are so sympathetic for us outside of Korea. All of the alternatives you recommend are easy to get in the UK and gives me peace of mind it’ll give me a similar taste. Thank you, I can’t wait to try this! (Does this also mean I can have a fun night out to test how good of a hangover cure this is? 😂)
I don't know if I can have this as breakfast but I can definitely have this as lunch or dinner or a snack. I love the easy soup and the tuna pancake - so easy to make. Thank you Aaron for the recipes and Claire for the testing/critique.
I hope you and Claire could come to the United States and rate H Mart. I would like to know how they rate with carrying products that are common in Korea but hard to find in the rest of the world. Keep up the good work. I love your cook book.
Sure! We’ll try to cover that part in our next breakfast episode. Until then, please check out our website for more details. 😊🙌 aaronandclaire.com/korean-breakfast-meal-at-home/
Evrything looks soo good, is there something else i can use in stead of dried pollack? I have problems finding it here in Denmark 😓 I can get fresh pollack, but I know it wont get the same flawor 😅 It is actually really strange i cant find it, because we have Greenland and the faroe Island that is a part of Denmark and they do air dry fish, i can probably be lucky and get something called Klipfisk, but it is really Salty and need to be cleaned in fresh water over night. Maybe i could use that?
Opened a present from the kids on Christmas morning to find your cookbook Aaron. I had made a few of your recipes for a Korean BBQ dinner in November and now we have the kids hooked. They are so excited to try more Korean dishes. Fresh seafood doesn't have the best availability where I'm at, but the dishes in this video could be easily done and we could start getting the kids to eat some fish. I'm running by my local Korean mart tomorrow, so I'll see if we can find some extra ingredients. Thanks for all the awesome videos you too!
If I plan ahead, then I make a really big pot of soup on the weekend and eat that with rice for breakfast most mornings. I love soup in the mornings. :)
A feast for sure Claire! I can see how that soup would be so comforting. Hodu was the perfect little eyeful for me throughout. Thank you so much.💗💗💗💗💗💗
What a coincidence! I made bulgogi before I saw this video & had that for breakfast with the rolled egg omelette using your recipe! The only thing that was different is that I added some dangmyeon (japchae noodles) to the bulgogi.
Oh my gosh, my mouth was watering the whole time I watched Claire eat. 😅 My book has arrived! I need to order some ingredients online and find an big Asian Market for radishes.
Amazing video as always. Fish sauce I skip in my homemade kimchi I just don't like it at all, how ever there are a few dish that I do add it to but normally not the amounts they call for. Soon as I'm back at work I'm definitely going to order your cook book it needs to be in my kitchen. Much love and Happy Holidays .
The glorious return of the Tuna Pancake Old School fans of the channel know exactly what I'm talking about here (seriously, it was the first thing I attempted to make after watching the original video)
Thanks for sharing, I didn't really know what a Korean breakfast is but it looks absolutely delicious. Even if I can't make everything I am definitely gonna try the tuna pancakes 😋
well, my 5 year old daughter said she wants to try this because "IT LOOKS SO YUMMY!!!!" . And now I just have to make this. Aaron and Claire, it's all your fault for making me try all these delicious recipes! By the way, hugs all the way from Romania!!! (Eastern Europe)
Sugar is necessary to balance out the flavor and it also works like a flavor enhancer. But you’re always welcome to reduce the amount to suit your taste. 😊🙌
Looks so delicious! I’m amazed you can do all the heat in the morning. Can you leave the tofu out of the soup or use something else. I really want to make a good soup 🥣
If you meant Doenjang Guk (Korean soybean paste soup), yes, you can skip the tofu. Or you can simply replace it with mushrooms. Oyster, enoki, or white button mushrooms will definitely work great in this dish! 😊🙌
You can just follow these steps like I did in the video. For example, while you’re marinating the meat, make the soup, (rice if needed) and other side dishes. If the soup is done cooking before you finish other side dishes, you can just turn the heat off and reheat it when you cook the meat. Every dish doesn’t need to be served warm, but try to finish the ‘soup’ and ‘meat dish’ at the very end and serve with hot rice. (You can either keep it warm in the rice cooker or microwave it right before serving.) That way, they will be warm and delicious! 😉👍

I appreciate you telling us the usual ingredients that are used such as perrila oil and salted shrimp but also giving us alternatives
This is great.
Aaron and Claire, can you make a video going over tips and recommendations for planning ahead and storage?
Sure! We’ll try to cover that part in our next breakfast episode. Until then, please check out our website for more details. 😊🙌

@@AaronandClaire thank you!
Aaron.. Please ask Claire what she calls a Korean Breakfast? Maybe that is one you can show us later. Thanks for the video.
Wow! Korean breakfast is so nutritious and looks delicious!

I'm trying to cut out extra sugar, will it work without it or just a reduced amount at least? ❤
Sugar is necessary to balance out the flavor and it also works like a flavor enhancer. But you’re always welcome to reduce the amount to suit your taste. 😊🙌
Amazing, you need to teach my hubby lol allll my favorites foods , especially the soup ❤
“Don’t worry about it”!
I really want to try some of this! I bought Parilla seeds so could grow it myself!
That’s what I call a savory breakfast 😋
Looks so delicious! I’m amazed you can do all the heat in the morning. Can you leave the tofu out of the soup or use something else.

Yes there is south Indian breakfast best in the world by a massive margin.. You should try it 🙂
What I want for Christmas ❤
Tq so much for these
recipes. Very appetizing. Aaron what can i substitute for pollack to make the soup. Tq in advance.
You can replace it with beef (skip the egg) and make it into beef radish soup! 😍
Loooove your channel! And I love your wife’s reaction and review
Super excited to try this! American breakfast are to sweet or not diverse enough.
Is there a tip to maintain the cooked dishes warm while still cooking?
You can just follow these steps like I did in the video. For example, while you’re marinating the meat, make the soup, (rice if needed) and other side dishes. If the soup is done cooking before you finish other side dishes, you can just turn the heat off and reheat it when you cook the meat.
Every dish doesn’t need to be served warm, but try to finish the ‘soup’ and ‘meat dish’ at the very end and serve with hot rice. (You can either keep it warm in the rice cooker or microwave it right before serving.) That way, they will be warm and delicious! 😉👍
Hi Aaron! When my wife and I go to kbbq they usually end off with ice coffee right? Can you teach us how to make that? Naeng Kopi I think it’s called?
Is this entire meal recipe, in your book? (I own your cookbook).
Wish I could be Claire for a day 😊
I will now type or say KOERAN instead of Korean every time I talk to my mom.
Pollack soup is something I want to try but I have salmon. Couldn’t find pollack
Please check the link down below! 😍
When making Bulgogi , I was told to use pear puree. Is it another version of it ?
This is a much simpler version of it! 😍
Is your tuna canned in water? Is it albacore or +light+ tuna?
Aigo!!I want that breakfast❤😅
And the dog is watching and thinking where’s mine?
Where can I apply to be a Korean Chef's wife ?
아론과 클레얼
😍😍😍
as an american.... this is very complicated for a breakfast. THOUGH it makes me want to make even more.
Substitute for pollack pls?
You could also try it with beef, (skip the egg) and make it into a beef radish soup! 😍
Correct spelling error in thumbnail? Regardless, love your videos!
Thank you for letting us know and thanks for watching! 😊🙏
That's BREAKFAST? This would keep me full at least till dinner, or probably even for the rest of the day.😅
The title has a spelling mistake
✨👌
Aight, this is happening
Hope you enjoy it!!! 😁👍
You spelled Korean wrong in your video thumbnail. You have it as "Koeran." :)
I corrected it. Thank you for letting me know! :)

Surprisingly, the soup is not fishy! 😁
