@@rajpp3693 Thanks, always happy to help, brother
The only video that actually gives the right watch order 👍
Thank you 😊
Yeah I've seen most youtubers say to start with Fate Zero but I looked it up and it says it spoils a lot later on if you start there. This is the first video I actually trust to follow
@@BooksToAshes I would actually say its better to start with zero, a lot of things may be confusing if u start with stay night instead.
Did the anime finish or is it continuing
@@your_dad9669 The spinoffs are still releasing now and then. But the main "timeline" is finished
As someone who's watched every single series and spinoff (except the most recent grand order movies), this is probably the simplest, concise, most straight forward explanation of the fate series watch order. Def saving this vid in case someone asks me about fate 😂
I know i might be 5 months too late to ask this but how does it make sense that Fate Strange Fake Whisper Dawn comes before Absolute Demonic Front Babylonia? Ive only just finished watching Fate Strange Fake Whisper Dawn as I write this and i do know the general plot of absolute demonic front babylonia so why would it show Gilgamesh and Enkidu meeting again before the whole story in Uruk?
Regarding Unlimited Blade Works, i noted that an interesting difference between Deen film, Ufotable adaptation and the Visual Novel, specifically regarding the condition of Saber after be free from Caster's control and just before makes a contract with Rin:
- In the Visual Novel, Saber was still capable to summons back her blue dress and armor, despite to be weakened by the lack of mana.
- In Ufotable anime, Saber was only capable to summons her Excalibur sword, but she was incapable to summons back her blue dress and armor.
- In Deen film, Saber was so weakened, that she wasn't even capable to summons her Excalibur sword, forcing her to takes borrowed one of the summoned swords of Archer.

Only problem with Grand order is that you HAVE to play the games to actually understand as it doesn’t go over the first 5 singularitys
This is real annoying to since alot of people don’t wanna play the game and have to go through the gacha systems and turn based low quality gameplay
@@NvMari1This is real annoying that if a person is actually that interested in story he can't read through the original source material but is completely fine with all the cut content and missing characters that appeared in the original but were completely cut out in anime
Guess you are just here for the flashy colors and EX tier animation
Come on the only important part of the first 5 singularities is London. London is where most of the overarching plot was starting to unravel. The other four singularities are pretty dog water. America is a bit "fun" but it's definitely unnecessary as well.
But, I can't get the game in my country

There's not really a "right" order since all of the various entries are in their own universe (the only exceptions are ones that are directly part of the same world like Fate/stay night and Fate/Zero).
The only "order" I'd give would be to start with Fate/stay night (2006), then watch Fate/stay night: Unlimited Blade Works (2014), then the Fate/stay night Heaven's Feel movies (1, then 2, and then 3), and then Fate/Zero. After that, you're free to go wherever you want.
(The reason I recommend starting with the shows I listed is because, as the first entries in the franchise, they give you a good understanding of the world, mechanics, and themes of the franchise).

this is the best watch order for the main series imo as it doesn't spoil much for the viewer. good video but you missed the prologue episode for ubw which i think should be watched in order to get a better view of the first episode or two of ubw. (the prologue can also be a good starting point if you don't plan on watching fate/stay night as many skip through it for it's bad adaptation, i wouldn't recommend skipping it though as it sets a good foundation for the rest of the fate series)

This was my opinion too but ill gladly be confused just to see godly animation
Right, to actually clarify
The original game is split into 3 parts:
Fate route
Unlimited blade works route
Heavens Feel route
Just watch the anime series based on those routes.
Fate Zero is a good starting point rather than the 2006 series because the 2006 is shit.
Fate Zero
Unlimited blade works
Heavens Feel
After that you can watch whatever in whatever order, it doesn't matter at all.
I will forever trust you no matter what anybody else says.
If you want to start from ep 0 before ep 1 of 2006 series you should do with Fate/Zero. It's a little bit newer but must be from a time before the 2006 one
>but must be from a time before the 2006 one
No, since FSN is 2004 and... Fate Zero has been released 2 years after and Urobutcher EVEN said in the book that you had to complete 3 routes before reading the book xD
So no, Zero is last, after 3 routes.
Im glad I clicked on this video thx vm!
I'm glad you like it ♥️🙏 Thanks
I like how you mentioned deen which atleast follows the og order 😂 but it is funny how you mention the visual novel but didnt mention reading that first and foremost for people who are curious and willing to read visual novels 😅
Do you have to follow whatever someone says without thinking for yourself? He mentioned the visual novel, so read it if you want to. It’s not that hard.
@@QaDri93 huh? People look to this as a guide so yes he should mention the vn and what order it should be
@@QaDri93What a stupid thing to say.
If you liked fate series, you should give Kara no kyoukai a try, it happens on the same universe (and some character appear on some fate animes) but it's not related to the holy grail war, it's a magical crime cases, truly recommended
Legit only Touko appeared in Fate and that was for 0.01 seconds
@@TohnoShiki17 yes, but Touko also appears on lord el melloid, and I think she have also some kind of glimpse on fate grand order (maybe just in the game, not sure tbh), still Touko could be kind a main carácter on the nasuverse since she is also on Mahoyo, so we have a lot of her life information, Y don't like no say those are "Fate" animes, but since they're not mainstream I had to (Aoko, Touko's sister also appear on Mahoyo and Tsukihime, and there's a mention of Alice on Fate Go, I know, too little but it is what it is I guess)
@@davidbarbina7923 I thought we were just talking about FATE but alright ig fr nigga stop yapping I've been in TM franchise since 2017 😭

Only Aoko appears in Tsukihime
I don't remember Alice getting a shoutout in fgo there is one Alice but that's from Fate extra
@@TohnoShiki17 I would soy that's a spoiler for Mahoyo. I mean, yes, Aoko appears on Tsukihime... I don't wanna sound weird but that's what I said. Yes, there's a mention of some descendent from the first magic user, from the Meinsterns linage, it's not the explicit name of Alice, but the context gives all you need te know is she, still is just a mention
Recommend everyone to watch from top to bottom, not all will agree but it’s solid enough I think. Can probably skip 2006 Fate/Stay Night Series and the 2010 TV Reproduction and any of the aforementioned OVAs and Short Films. As for Grand Carnival I don’t think it’s worth watching. My list makes sense by not being overly bulky or lengthy and also ensuring that if new films are released that they follow the stories that you have watched last/most recent.

Oh I forgot to mention that you can watch Fate Zero S1 & S2 after the third Heaven’s Feel Film. You would do this if you WANT TO AVOID SPOILERS and because you watch to finish on a high because Zero is REALLY good and also if you watch it after completing Heaven’s Feel as opposed to before UBW then it clears some details and questions up for you and might make more sense. However, I assure you Zero is a prequel to UBW and chronologically the first entry. But if you want an anime that hooks you into Fate then Zero is a good start. The spinoffs are all optional tbh, Fate/Grand Order and Fate/Extra Last Encore are based on games and you likely won’t enjoy them if you don’t play the games first so that should be considered. The cooking show was a good spinoff slice of life anime as it was relaxing and shows characters who ordinarily you wouldn’t expect getting on doing just that.

U just made me want to check it out im all caught up on one peiece manga now
An someone tell me why you would watch the first gate/stay night if the the unlimited blade works is the same. I just watched blade works and I’m now starting date/stay night 2006 and it’s the same just with more talking about characters development and some scenes are a little different.
I am currently now on fate stay night 2006 (ep17). After this should i watch fate zero or UBW?
I'm gonna follow this order but I've seen this war in reddit with either watching Fate Zero after Fate 2006 or watching Fate Zero after the three routes 2006, UBW and Heaven's Feel.
Right now I'm on the second HF movie and honestly in my opinion I think it's fine to watch Fate Zero after 2006. Now if you really crave the mystery and want to really wait for everything to be revealed after watching the three routes still having questions, then I'd reccomend watching Zero after the three routes.
Me personally I feel watching Fate Zero before UBW for some reason made the flow feel better as yes the mystery for the grail does get revealed and stays the same course for the remaining two routes but I personally preferred seeing how different the stories branched out from the previous route before even caring for the Holy Grail. I feel like while the mystery is gone it shouldn't be held to such a high standing especially for the main theme in UBW growing out way more important than the Grail itself.
Just wanted to get my opinion out for others to poteinally experience it like me in case they wanted to see the backstory immediately after watching 2006. But besides that your order definitely helps me 100%🙏🏽
Bruh I went into this wanting to watch fate/grand order but since I can’t let myself watch it randomly, I have to watch it in order and it’ll be two years since I get to fate grand order
One year later I am still beyond confused
if you were to watch all of it at once how long would it take ?
300+ hours one calculated
Wait why is unlimited blade works ( season 1 & 2) same as the fate stay night? But different quality and same story??? Do i really have to watch it again??? Could someone tell me please. Cause fate is really good show but not popular like one piece cuz it makes people's mind dizzy of whats happening in the story
Unlimited blade works was adapted by ufotable and animation is crazy. The story is same as 2006 version. So no need to watch both adaptations.
In VN you have beginning called common route and AFTER common route things are branched.

>same as the fate stay night
So NO.
It's not the same story, it's just the same beginning. It diverges at some point.
All three of the stories F/SN (2006), F/SN UBW and Heaven's Feel movies start at the same beginning story. Each of these parts tell different events from the same beginnings. It's just the nature of the visual novel formula, but, don't worry about having to "rewatch" it again by jumping from story to story because the entire thing has to be watched in that order for it to make sense.
@@QilinsReverseScale......how does this even work, is there even a main plot line, shouldn't the other possibilities be what if sequel like what re:zero has, oh man, why this gotta be so confusing
Thank you very much ❤
You welcome 🤗
bro you are actually a life saver
Thanks 🙏 appreciate your support 😊
I only watched Fate/Stay Night, I got hooked up. However so many series/movies to watch. Getting confused and like giving up on watching it. 😭
Beacuse it IS simple, people see that many entires and are lazy to read = they don't want to.
I'll make it easy for everyone. I'll make a map of explanations. Simply jump to the paragraph which answers your question.
Paragraph 1: "Why does Fate Stay Night have three different adaptations? Which one should I watch?"
Paragraph 2: "Fate Zero takes place before Fate Stay Night, should I watch it first?"
Paragraph 3: "What should I watch after Fate Stay Night and Fate Zero?"
Paragraph 4: "Is there a sequel to Fate Stay Night?"
Paragraph 5: "Exploring any Fate Related Media without the "Fate" in the title."
Paragraph 1:
For anyone wondering why Fate Stay Night has three different adaptations it's because it tells three different stories from the same beginning with the same set of characters. It's the nature of a medium called visual novel. Another famous anime that also comes from a visual novel would be Steins Gate and Clannad. Going back, think of it as quite literally parallel universes of each other retelling the story of Fate Stay Night albeit with different events and endings. And to answer your questions, Yes you have to watch all of them. Yes, it's not a waste of time to watch all of them. The story is meant to be watched in that order because the story has a progressive approach in introducing characters. Each story/route focuses specifically on a certain character. For example, FSN (2006) focuses on Saber while UBW focuses a lot more on Archer. While you can watch UBW first before the 2006 one if you're not a fan of the old animation, Heaven's Feel has to be the last one you watch. Not only will it not make sense to watch first, Heaven's Feel only works because it's under the assumption that you already know the entire past two routes/stories. It gives you the entire backstory and answers to the plot holes that were left unanswered in the 2006 and UBW adaptations. It focuses a lot on the "Why" the event happened in the first place. It serves as the thematic ending to all routes. So in short, it's Fate 2006 - UBW - Heaven's Feel. After that you've finished the main story of Fate (clap your hands).
Paragraph 2:
Can you watch Fate Zero first? *YES* Absolutely. But there's a lot of issue with watching Fate Zero first. If you just want to watch an action-pack story of Fate, feel free to ignore this paragraph. But let me explain why Fate Zero has problems as the first watch. Fate Zero was based on a novel written by a different author compared to Fate Stay Night. Because of this, not only does Fate Zero tell a different story, it also writes some characters differently from the original Fate Stay Night characters. Because this anime technically came before the UBW anime (which people mistakenly watched first before Fate Stay Night), it gave the wrong impression of some characters, like Saber, Archer, and Kirei for example. You must be confused on the significance of a difference in writers but think of it as "what if George Lucas made The Lord of the Rings instead" type of deal. The second issue with watching Fate Zero first is it actually spoils the events of Fate Stay Night. By revealing the backstory of the characters in Fate Stay Night, it destroys the fundamental suspense on the big reveals in Fate Stay Night. But if you don't care about that, you can watch Fate Zero first.
Paragraph 3:
After these two, you can watch basically anything "Fate" because they're all just stories happening within a multiverse. They all have different medium however, mostly games but there are some anime, mangas, and novels of them. None of them are "necessary" to watch before watching something else. If you came to this to ask about Fate Grand Order, the game has a very well written story in the current version. But you can watch the anime adaptation of Fate Grand Order first and play the game after if it's to your liking. I also recommended checking out anime related to Fate without the "Fate" in the title. Like Lord El Melloi's Case Files. It's good to watch after watching Fate Zero because it serves as a sequel to one of the characters in Fate Zero. From the top my head the anime with Fate Titles that I can think of are Fate Apocrypha, Fate Extra, Fate Kaleid Liner. You can watch any of these, it doesn't matter where you start because they are all completely separate stories.
Paragraph 4:
Surprisingly, not a lot of people know about the sequel to Fate Stay Night - which is Fate Hollow Ataraxia. The reason is because it's only available as a visual novel and it's not released officially in the west like Fate Stat Night is. It has a fan translation free to download if you search for it. Will it get adapted into an anime? ABSOLUTELY NOT. Fate Hollow Ataraxia has a very confusing plot because the story takes around repeating the same 5 days of the same week until the mystery is solved by the main character "Bazette." The main story happens during the evening while during the day, a slice of life and lighthearted story plays out involving the cast of Fate Stay Night. If you like Fate Stay Night and wants to see more of the same characters, you can play this visual novel instead. It will take a considerable amount of time compared to watching the anime but if you enjoy it then feel free.
Paragraph 5:
Just like Case Files I mentioned before, some entries in Fate does not even have the word in its title. Today's Menu in Emiya Family is a spin-off series about the characters of Fate stay Night where instead of killing each other, they just live normal lives within the city. The story involves a lot of cooking and wholesome moments. It's not canon to the story of Fate Stay Night but it involves its characters. There's also non-Fate anime out there that are written by the same author but is still related to the "multiverse" I mentioned before. Kara no Kyoukai/Garden of Sinners is a series of movie involving Ryougi Shiki, a woman who can see death with her eyes. It's a mystery story involving paranormal activities as Shiki resolves her conflicts. There's also things like Tsukihime (which had a very unpopular anime in 2003) which is more about demons, vampires, and the church. There's also Mahotsukai no Yoru which involves a story about mages without the plot of Holy Grail Wars like in Fate Titles. It currently exists only as a visual novel but Ufotable has announced a movie adaptation.

The holy grail war in fgo is take place in the same time of the 5th grail war, where the first to the fourth never happen.
Wanted to watch it for Astrolf
But I guess iam just gonna stick to rewatching Aot for now
time to update
Sorry I only watched Fate Zero, Fate stay night unlimited blade works and Apocrypha and I don't get why you should watch Stay night before Zero, am I missing something?
Because the intended order is FSN routes and then Zero, as it is assumed that you know FSN
What anime app has the movies i checked crunchyroll and it has whispers of dawn movie the grand order movies but not the timeline with saber the og fate zero and fate zero heavens feel movie
Piracy is the only option
2:44 i skipped this one entirely ... Is it ok not to watch it?
Prisma Illya is made as "atonement"+fanservice for cruelty Nasu did to her in the visual novel :P
Ya you dont need to watch it, it gets good at like season 4
Can someone remind me what happened in heavens feel 1 and 2 cuz im watching 3rd movie and i dont get anything i only know that saber become red and black colored and this weird black and red shadow
Where can I watch the rest of these series I only see fate zero and stay night on Crunchyroll and some grand order stuff I really wanna watch ubw but no where to be found on crunchy
9anime is where I watch the original Fate/stay series, it does have the rest of the Fate as well. Netflix (Canada at least) has Fate/Apocrypha and Fate/EXTRA Encore
check anidb
Where can I watch the first 2006 I can’t find it any where

This anime is so messed up they couldnt even make normal noncomplicated stories in series
It's not complicated bro.
@@MrInuhanyou123 lol 🤓
I think people tend to make it more complicated than it needs to be by trying to make a full "watch order" for the entire franchise, when it doesn't matter since each entry is in its own timeline/universe.
For example, if you want to watch Fate/Kaleid Liner Prisma Illya without watching Fate/Extra Last Encore, you can, because they aren't connected.
The only "real" order, in my opinion, is to start with Fate/stay night (2006), then Fate/stay night: Unlimited Blade Works (2014), then Fate/stay night: Heaven's Feel 1, 2, and 3, then Fate/Zero, and now you're free to pretty go wherever you want in the franchise.
(There are two exceptions that I would recommend leaving for later, and those are Fate/strange Fake and Fate/Grand Order since they reference a lot of the other series, but the rest don't have that problem (unless you haven't seen Fate/stay night and Fate/Zero)).
@@MrInuhanyou123 Yes it is
@@XprogaminG.--_--. it's not. There is clear way to start and a clear way to continue. The problem is people don't get the right ideas from others about that.
DAAAAAAMMMM I WATCH EL-MELLOI SERIES FIRST ON ACCIDENT THEY WERE SO GOOD
I just started should I watch it the year the show comes or would you recommend this order sorry I'm new to the show
if u are new, then follow the video correctly,
this video is inncorecct
start first with
Fate Zero (thats origins how it started all and by the end you will see how it connects to)
Fate Stay Night and after that
Fate Sttay Night Unlimited Blade Works and then you can follow what he said in video
video is inccorect@@tenzinnamdhak5926
Do i need to watch ubw to understand the main story i am really confused because i just finished stay night and idk what to watch next
06? First route. Then UBW is 2nd, HF is 3rd and then Zero.
I thought that the entry into the Toaru no universe was already complicated
I think Fate /Stay Night: Unlimited Blade Works should definitely come after Fate /Zero since the prequel is actually based on the remake and not the original. Unlimited Blade Works takes place after Zero and continue the story from that series.... Btw you forgot to mention Fate/Grand Order: Babylon series that have 25eps.
>since the prequel is actually based on the remake and not the original
Based on the VN aka all 3 routes (VN 2004, F/0 LN is from 2006) and assumes that you know every route from VN.
@@RazorBMWPLyeah but it doesn't really. I haven't played the VN, but I understand Fate Zero just fine. Many people started with Fate Zero and went on the enjoy the rest of the series. The only way to not get spoiled for anything is to play the VN, which I'm not doing rn because I don't have the time.
@@bigmanmccheez5342 >yeah but it doesn't really
It does. For real.
> I understand Fate Zero just fine.
Mostly beacuse F/0 can be used as almost "fanfiction" directed by Gen (hey, hi, how you massacred Arturia character xD)
>The only way to not get spoiled for anything is to play the VN, which I'm not doing rn because I don't have the time.
Yet people have time to watch shitton of soso seasonal animes.
@@RazorBMWPL I will admit that after talking to people who have spent the time reading the Vn and watching the whole series, fate Zero does for real spoil the series, I will take that back.
Some people do have the time to spend watching shit tons of seasonal anime, I am not one of those people. I'm in college part time and working full time, while running a small business and a university society. I personal do not have the time to sink 100 hours into any game. However, I can absolutely spend a hour or two at the end of the day watching anime.
Btw what happened to this movie?- "fate/kaleid liner prisma☆illya movie: licht - namae no nai shoujo".
It just showed up to when Darius broke kuro's card so where is the other adaption? Will there be another fate/kaleid line prisma illya part 2 movie of that?
After Oath Under Snow's movie, I think there's a part 2 of it (it just the next part of Julians plan stuff)
Watch in this order
*Fate/Zero*
*Fate/Stay Night: Unlimited Blade Works*
*Fate/Stay Night: Heavens Feel Movies - [HF I] [HF II] [HF III]*
@@MarufAMV ? Why are you giving out the watch order?

Now I just wonder whereto watch all this?
Crunchyroll lol
Can i watch it by release date order? If not then how the fck did people follow the series from 2006 😂
Great question! We did not! 😂
Can i go directly to grand order after watching fate/zero?
What the actual hell did I watch? I'm even more confused
I feel like grand order isnt complete, or am i missing something. Like we only get to see the last 2 singularities. Is that just how it is or am i missing something
You may not have watched the Solomon movie. Which ends it all. Or are you saying they didn't have anime adaptations of singularities 1 to 5.
@@QilinsReverseScale I'm saying they don't have singularities 1-5 and still had characters from there in the last movie
@@ynex101 Solomon wouldn't work if the past 7 singilarities weren't summoned. It's a shame for casuals since they didn't animate the first 5 singularities but the writing for those is awful. If they do decide to make them I think only London and America would be worth becoming an anime. Even then, London is quite boring. It's a chore to get through. An alternative to adapting the first five singularities is to change the details of the story, make it more exciting, but I don't think Sakurai or Higashide wants to do that.
What's with the Spinoffs, is it part of the watch order?
Apocrypha/FGO are spin offs and aren't main story (main story is VN + Zero)
Maybe Lord El Melloi adventures are a bit after F/0 but... a bit.
Like I've always said start with the stay nights, but I would prefer it if someone started with the first route by reading the vn, the deen adaptation is horrific. The only things connected to the stay nights is the vn sequel and the el melloi novels.
everything else is seperate fateverse
start with Fate Zero cause the end of it continues with Fate stay night and so on
@@bogdaniusjablan2717 zero does not lead into stay night, it is a different fate world line as the f/sn's fourth war is plenty different and it completely butchers characters like saber and kirei as kirei's whole thing in stay night is that he always knew he was evil. An example of a butchering is the meeting of kings which has saber as a completely different personality as the stay night counterpart which never changed her views
mannn just watch last episode of Fate zero then play first episode Fate Stay Night like all characters by the end of zero continues in fate stay night and connects the story so everyone can understand ...now Unlimited Blade Works is same as Fate Stay Night just from Rin prespective@@hurou
I am so confused....is there a fate multiverse out there or what?
I first started with fate zero tho
thats the right way to start....dunno whats this guy talkin about thou
@@bogdaniusjablan2717 Not the right way since you first unlock the UBW and then HF in the visual novel. AND ZERO was released later, after VN. Even Urobutcher wrote about it in the book.
@@RazorBMWPL Man i now it was released later but it doesnt change the fact that is prequel to Fate Stay Night or UBW ....for anyone coming later to anime i still think they should start with Fate Zero
@bogdaniusjablan2717 did you even read what Gen wrote at the beginning of F/0 LN?
He said about that literally. Zero after the rest.
@@RazorBMWPL i know what he said i doesnt change the fact that Zero story is called Zero for reason ...and i get the full circle that comes around it
now thats the way i watched it and i dont regret it one bit

Which app have all the fate series
Will there be a new fate series this year 2024?
Pls where can i watch it and download it
What about the games like Fate/Samurai
What's difference between 2006 version and 2015 that you told their story is same but not animation...is it necessary to watch both 2006 and 2015 versions?
The 2014 version is better in animation because the studios were ufotable and its second season aired in 2015.
Personally for better experience watch the 2014 version. No need to watch both adaptations.
@@pro_star_official 2006 is the FIRST route (Saber) with mixed elements from 2nd (Rin) and 3rd. Not really that bad but underwhelming.
If you want it for real.. just play the VN and read the 1st route ;d
UBW is 2nd route.
@@RazorBMWPL yup
I saw a amv on fate Absolute front Babylonia and i wanted to see what i needed to do to catch up. That's alot of catching up. Also i didn't hear nothing about Babylonia
Okay, so what can I skip 😅
I will make a video about what you can skip 😉
So basicly i should watch just how you put them in the video ?
Completed 8 singularity in 2 days in fgo game then watched fgo anime later. Now to watch fate stay night.
Where can I Watch Fate/Zero Cafe
why should i watch blade works and the normal stay night? its almost indentical
Events happen differently since they're two different timelines.
In the visual novel you have a thing called common route. AFTER common route you have 3"branch" and that's how you do it.
You have 3 choices - but in reality only 1 is unlocked at the beginning. After 1st route you will have 2nd route and after the 2nd - 3rd option/route to choose.
why watch fate strange whispers of dawn before fate apocrypha ?
The correct order is whatever the fuck I want it to be >:)
Why are the years mixed up tho,?
Bruh so no wonder I got confused watching "apocrypha" then "extra last encore" the first one was good in itself actually, then I watched the next and it felt like an acid trip.
Fate Extra Last Encore is pretty much an acid trip. Instead of adapting the story faithfully of "Fate Extra" (a PSP video game), the main director decided to create an entirely new story based upon the game.
It's easy to write this anime off as non-canon. Personally I didn't even finish watching it because I was disappointed as I played the game before it was released.
Ok I'm still i lil confused..cz if fate zero is the prequel so shouldn't i watch that before stay night?
like the star wars prequels it spoils things in the original even though it’s set in the past
@@jado4prezAlso there's a prologue/special called unlimited blade works of about an hour, am i supposed to watch it?
it makes more sense to me to follow the anime time-line than it does the release time-line so i would say start with fate zero or the list he have in the ending of this video
@@tazz28269 watching fate zero first spoils stay night. it assumes you watched the original because it came out first.
@@As.if.nothnelse
Are you talking about episode zero of the Fate/stay night: Unlimited Blade Works tv show that is titled "Prologue?" If so, then yes, you have to watch it. It is the first episode, and it establishes what is going on.
If you are talking about the Fate/stay night: Unlimited Blade Works movie, then, no, you don't need to watch it, nor should you watch it as a new fan since it's a bad adaption (but that's entirely because it essentially condenses basically an entire tv series into one, 90-minute movie).
Why better watching it chronological order only if I’m familiar with it?
Beacuse this order is LULZ in terms of lorebuilding and overall quality.
There is a reason why VN is happens like that and no one really cares about Zero events (Urobutcher well... butchered Zero). Even he tells that it sohuld be read (Zero was LN earlier before anime adaptation) after VN/ FSN
