Man, the last moment of Askeladd was sure one of the best dying moments. Askeladd is simply one of the best characters that I have encountered so far. I can't wait for the season 2 and it's time for our main character Thorfinn to shine.

Deadman Wonderland can't really continue because it didn't follow the manga at some points.
I just decided to watch That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime and I watched all 50 episodes, 5 OVAs, and 80 odd manga chapters over the course of Friday to Sunday. Easily my favorite show right now and one of the best I've seen in recent years.

Honestly Vinland Saga is so underrated, I legitimately enjoyed every moment of every episode, it's not like it has the very highest highs of all animes, but it's lows at worse is still an 8 or above. If you haven't watched it, please give it a try!!
Think alot of is has to do wasn't on Funi/CR so most people missed it being on amazon, since prime sucks at showing new anime on front page.

If you like Vinland Saga, then you should check out The Lat Kingdom. It's not an anime but an amazing live action series about the Viking invasion of England.
I think episode 24 is fenomenal, easy top 5 episode of all time for me personally.

I’m glad to see Megalo Box made the list, I’m an older guy and it relit the fire in me that enjoyed anime. Great music, great story, good characters and impressive sound design.
This list seems bang on but I wish black clover got at least an honorable mention, their is some serious action fights that have shonen written all over it

@@danielpirez381 the animation during normal scenes is fairly poor and it does drop off in some like during the devil believer arc, but in terms of the fights in general I think it's fairly good quality, think of licht and yami, asta and ladros, asta and liebe like there are too many good fights

Aot is really good but I'm a manga reader and its ending is so fkn trash, sad to see a a great anime series amount to an atrocious ending like that. Nothing to take away from both series, they're both great, Vinland is just miles ahead of both, only a few are above Vinland, they are Monster, Bebop, LOGH and Steins gate. Death Note is not GOAT lol but it's your opinion, I respect that. Vinland is easily one of the best anime series. At least top 10, if not, top 5.

I think it's worth mentioning another reason Jujutsu Kaisen captured the audience is it also give a good mix of HunterXHunter and Naruto feels. It has the horror and philosophical fights that HXH while contained in a school environment- yet not, trio, and white-haired masked teacher.
Tokyo Ghoul was really huge back in my days, everybody was cosplaying it. That being said Parasyte got a special place in my heart though I only got to enjoy it a few years later. I confess the artwork and the premise doesn't compel you to what the anime but it really is a masterpiece.
Nah am 14 I finished watching Tokyo ghoul like 2 months ago and I can proudly say that's my fav anime...I tried watching anime similar to it like karabane of the iron Forrest,devil's line etc but nope tokyuo ghoul is still da best
That one song though.. "Next to you" by Ken Arai I think. That side chick's story was soo sad I still feel sad when I listen to that song.

@@rickojay7536 i've been on and off on Tokyo Ghoul for the last couple of months. can't really figure it out. it's rushed. people die at random. you don't really have the time to develop an emotional attachment with any of the characters. i'm still going to try and finish it though.
Tokyo Ghoul first and 2nd season very good , but after the main character lost his memory, the mood is going down

Vivy has one of the best OST in all of the anime I watched up to now. It has good story, very good animation brilliant fights. Also 86 too has one of the best OST too and also the anime overall is great.

This show is insanely underrated.
Man, I have watched a lot of the anime mentioned in this video. These days, I'm honestly having a hard finding a good anime since many good anime just have set my standards so high. I watch a lot of different genre's but after seeing many masterpieces it seems harder to find one that captivates me as much as a lot of those in this video had

This might very well be the very best list for anime recommendations, period. It was also quite obvious that you actually honostly watched those series, because I had the same arguments about most that I've watched (ofcourse not all, everyone has their own taste, but they aren't arguments I completely disagree with) and there are very, very few anime in this video that I wouldn't recommend. Although I've already watched 80% on this list, I'm still very satisfied with that remaining 20% of gems that I somehow completely missed or just didn't bother with at the time.

Loving the inclusion of Land of the Lustrous. Definitely a good 3D anime with an interesting take on its characters and world-building. And one where any potential future seasons will have a field day digging into

I want to recommend 86 to anyone who's willing to invest a little bit more emotionally than usual, it's a really, really great title. The graphics, arts, and combat coreographies are stunning, but the story is even better. It also has its second season airing this season too, so you can binge through the first season while waiting for the weekly uploads of the second season. Can't recommend it enough. Try 86, it's really great.

i actually had to agree with you when you mentions vinland saga, when i watched it about 2 weeks ago i found myself really wanting more just because of how good it was. now instead of having demon slayer in my top three vinland saga has filled that position alongside attack on titan and bleach

2015: Personally, I liked Assassination Classroom better than OPM especially since AssClass was able to be consistently good. OPM S2, however, was mid at most.
2016: Agreed although I don’t think MHA is close to it tbh. MHA is good but MP100 is on another level.
2017: Respectable. Land of the Lustrous is good however tbh it doesn’t imprint on me for its action aspect (rather the fantasy/mystery/drama part of it). Black Clover is my personal pick for 2017.
2018: Haven’t watched Megalo Box but my personal pick is Banana Fish.
2019: Respectable though I liked Demon Slayer better.
2020: Agreed. Akudama Drive deserved an HM though.
2021: Respectable though I like Tokyo Revengers and 86 better.

I plan to watch Tokyo Ghoul next (before I saw this vid) haha. Hmmm I think Land of the Lustrous looks amazing, not sure if I would watch it but maybe I will check it out. I'm on the fence with Demon Slayer although I like the art. Maybe I should check Vinland Saga.
Thanks for keeping us up to date. Haven't been watching much anime in the past decade but I think I've been able to watch the best ones. Haha. Jujutsu Kaisen is such a treat and one of my favorites too! I even thought Netflix' Shaman King was the original one until I found out they did a remake. Whut the. Haha. Should finish watching the previous version to see what happens next.

2011: Hunter x Hunter, that's the same
2012: either Zetsuen no Tempest, or Psycho-Pass, hard decision
2013: Kyoukai No Kanata. would be AoT if we only go for the anime but the manga left some bitter aftertaste in my mouth
2014: Parasyte's a safe bet yes
2015: Assassination Classroom for me, OPM is kinda overrated. If not AssClass then Kekkai Sensen
2016: Mob Psycho, easily
2017: Land of the Lustrous, but yeah you're right there was a lack of action anime that year
2018: havent seen ANY action anime outside of Darling in the Franxx so that, I guess. I should probably get to that
2019: lol, Vinland Saga, nothing else is even close xD
2020: Jujutsu Kaisen I guess
2021: Vivy may have better action overall but so far, SSSS Dynazenon gets it for the relatable characters
So, 6 out of 11 the same, I can live with that ^^
@Ray Adams what's your pick instead of Vinland? its definitely not overrated and in terms of narrative it far surpasses demon slayer. But true hxh is top tier indeed

@@swayamprakashpani10froll-48 it will have some of the highest highs in the series but also some of the lowest lows. It’s decent, overall not as good as the previous parts but also not nearly as bad as the hate on the internet make it out to be
just got into anime(watched only 3 shows and a movie) and now im reeling with all the info and new stuff to watch. I wish i could have a list honestly
