Your videos made me buy 3 mothers today! Thank you
I hope you're making money in film and tv with this damn ability. YOU ARE THE ONE.
Even after all the new synths and eurorack modules since this was posted in 2016, this keeps on burning. Fire*
WOW !!! ABSOLUTLY WONDEROUS Piece of Analog Bliss !!!😍🤩😜👍jaffa
I gave this a thumbs down because this fantastic sounding instrument and performance is going to end up costing me eighteen hundred bucks as I'm off to order my own 3x Mother 32 rig after seeing this dang it! :)
I thumbs down this because we're on the same page.
3x Behringer D would be 9 oscillators rather than 3.
Digiphex Electronics Yeah but no sequencers or patch points (ok the D has a few .. I own one .. but not like the Mothers), also the Mothers feel nicer to work with .. no regrets with the D though except its lost its tuning calibration in less than a month (just sitting in my climate controlled studio)
Don't forget the effects pedals or you will be disappointed......
@@jeffkay1977 you can do that cheap with some free vsts and some cheap interface like the roland fa-66. Well its digital, but which pedal isnt haha.
Just beautiful! Now I have to convince my wife why I need this equipment!
One of the best modular styled electronic jams that I have heard in a while.
Kudos...
+oddboxTopper Thanks very much!
Love what you doing sir, really.
Thank you!
Amazing at 5:03. Well the whole thing is really.
Well it's been a while!
There is no denying the raw tone of those machines. A very appealing textural journey.
+BluffMunkey Thank you!
Just WoW! I love the first part! In repeat mode. again and again... Good job!
Thank you very much!
I was wandering through an M32 search and came across yours. Wow! What fantastic sounds. I subscribed to make sure I hear more of your music.
+John Uftring Nice! Thanks very much!
Amazing stuff. I'm going for the TC Electronic Hall. Still waiting for my second mother to return from the shop (nut broke of). If I ever get the money together I will defenitly purchase two more. 3 for sequencing and tweaking and one for solo, or even two so you can play a chord made out of two notes.
Thanks for the inspiring video
+Peter Moorkens Thank you! Yes, the Mothers seem like they'll be great for a lot of different scenarios.
What a fantastic journey that was! Inspired!
NICE! Sounds great dude. aw man I am so jealous of the moog! me want!
+drumr828 Thanks!
I dig what you're doing here. Lots.
So inspiring!!! Thank you
Super fucking sweet.
very nice!
makes me want some mother!
let's just restart the video and listen one more time.
Thank for the like . I ve now gone deep into modular synth! I m Broke...
Oh no... my apologies...!

+Miguel Barrera Thank you!
Wow man, first time on your channel, amazing , thank you for the dreamscapes
+Skuppy Welcome! Thanks very much!
Grande Rheyne...... controllo totale...synth+sound!!!!!!....eccezionale!!!!
Please do more Moog Mother-32 stuff. I could listen to it forever!
I definitely will! There's been a few more since this one, in the "Mother-32 Jams" playlist.
Great! Can't wait. I'm gonna need at least an hours worth. ;)
Love it, music of the Krell !
Badass! This sounds great in your hands.
To all the people who view any "electronic" musicians as being "button pushers" I submit this as proof of life.
button pushers and knob turners. who cares what idiots think. if I like it its good.
I can understand their frustration, If I played an instrument that I couldn't patch additional oscillators and build a universe of weird sound I would be pissed and hate too.
0:06 - 2:35..........."Sympathy And Acknowledgement" by Mark Isham.
He's pushing buttons and turning knobs. Nothing wrong with that anyway.
That was beautiful, thank you!
Deep as hell. I love it, this is my heaven right here, you’ve just inspired me to buy this synth
Hi Rheyne , very great Music , I like this flowing sounds for space : ) Peter
+SoundArtProjekt Thanks Peter!
beautiful. thank *YOU*
So, so good. Loved it. Thanks for the upload!
This sounds just absolutely stunning on headphones. fantastic work
That's a change! And I really like it! :-)
+GMGB68 Thank you!
Dios Mio!!! Tremendo!!!! Translation: Outstanding Production and Great Art!!!
fantastic, man. great sounds, and lovely layering
Thank you!
I really like the clean and organic sounds from the M32 the best, I don't think my voyager RME is capable of the same but will test .....
This is absolutely beautiful. I feel as if I'm in space
Very nice!!!
Wow! It sounds really good ;)
this is very good i only have one mother this is making me want a hall of fame to go with it and another mother...why not...
Looks like you got some new toys there. What an cool array of sounds you have generated from those Mother's. It appears limitless. Especially at 8:00 sounds that you have produced with the DSI Mopho, but these are more distinct and bright
and well simply beautiful. As always keep up the good work, and you are incredible.
+Roger Skebelsky Thank you very much!
This is fucking awesome. Wondering if you have any thoughts on the Lifeforms SV-1 if you've messed around on it.
+Aaron Moore Thanks! Haven't tried it yet, but all of the Pittsburgh stuff looks and sounds excellent.
You are amazing man I subscribed :) I wanna hear so much more what you can do with that beautiful 3 tier :)
+Spice T Music Thank you! More to come, for sure 😉
+Rheyne Great mood lighting and camera angle too, only thing your missing here is a fine glass of wine :)
c'est trés beau, magnifique.
Amazing jam!
+Moreno Moriconi Thank you!
So good man, keep going
Great performance!
so nice
fantastic!!! awsome!! clap clap clap!!!!!
+Gibran Curtiss Thank you!
i can totally see this making into the next Mass Effect game! completely surreal
+Jonathan Hatcher Nice! Thank you! I still need to finish ME3 (I'm on Steam and Origin).
Hey, Rheyne, beautiful stuff. A question: What mixer do you use? I'm looking for a small, stereo mixer for improvising with some small gear.
+Ángel Domínguez Thanks! I used a Yamaha MG12XU in this vid.
Ottimo bravo.......
Superb :)
Awesome performance!.. (i bought the Strymon big sky for the mothers)
+Angelo Vd weerden Nice! I wound up getting one, too! And thank you!
Quite creative and beautiful. How many pre-programmed sequences did you use?
+Guillermo Hernandez-Ching Thanks! I believe it was a total of 6.
Beautiful and inspiring
Sounds amazing. Every considered adding anything else, waveform wise, since you have three Moog Mother that all have saw and pulse?
+Krister Nielsen Thank you! I did, take a peek at the "Sequenced Jams" from #15-present.
Hey there, very inspiring indeed! could you pls tell me if all Mothers are connected to the 2 efx with same setting.. or individual settings? thanks for sharing ;)
+Mal uns Thank you! They all went to the reverb, but I believe only the middle unit was connected to the delay.
Awesome!
this is amazing. I am really wanting to get my hands on one or two of these.
Cool stuff mate
+Blindfold Knobs Thank you!
Just received my M32 today and, boy, it’s gonna be a journey! Two more planned when I can afford it, but for now I we'd to read that manual again. Excellent sounds ... sounds great with a bit of reverb! Great inspiration, thanks!
+aeropilot I had to read it a few times, myself... Enjoy! Plenty of power behind the single oscillator!
The best Krell music I've ever heard! :-)
I have no idea why I called this "Krell". You're clearly playing it. lol Musta been drunk. :p
This was fantastic
Hard Core! at 2:40......great job!
fantastic!!!
+George Nelson Thank you!
Nice work!
This is the coolest channel on UA-cam. I can't believe I was never into this before but just recently I have been getting my music room filled with instruments that I have always wanted and I have just bought a Moog mother32 and you have inspired me to get into this type of music. By the way I love the lights you have it sets the mood so well. What kind of lighting do you use?
+AudiosErgeonPOGZ Thank you very much!
The lighting is mostly Chauvet LED par cans.
Rheyne thank you so much I will be getting a couple of those lights very soon. I got so excited to learn about the Moog Mother 32 that I just had to get them. I can't wait to try them out. Your music is awesome keep up the great videos!!!
That sub from 5:25 coming from single Mother? Is there any of the effects on it? Amazing BTW.
+Davor Smonkar Thank you! Yes, that's a single Mother-32. No other effects besides the reverb.
very good!
amazing sounds!
Excellent!!
Love it!
Amazing work mate!
Guaiamum Thank you!
wonderful
Great, dude)
Wow! That is so incredibly beautiful it had my eyes watering!
Is it possible to buy this material on a CD? Thanks!
+Craig Smith Thank you! I'm so sorry, the bits of audio making up this vid were from longer files which I can no longer find. This one may only be available to listen to on UA-cam and Vimeo.
Rheyne I would hope you have hard drives to record this music at all times from now on man. To not have this unreal genius music in this video just floating on UA-cam and Vimeo is a sin..
+Romen Pheonixx I actually located the original 24-bit files this evening on my backup drive, after searching the entire March 2016 folder. I'll have an extended version of this jam posted soon.
Man this is the performance I see on a Mother-32. I only got one myself, but after this video I will get 2 more for sure! Can you please share the patch and explain how you are using the other tools to support the performance? Thanks in advance
Elephant Kid My apologies, I wasn’t too good at taking patch notes when this was made, but from what I can recall, each Mother was acting as its own voice, with only minimal patching between them. The TC reverb was on the overall mix, and one of the Mothers handling the arpeggio was going direct to the Roland Demora.
Totally love it.
whats you audio path when recording, sound card and pre amps and converter etc.
The reverb was on an aux send, and one of the Mothers was running direct to the delay. I recorded the master output from the mixer directly into the Tascam audio recorder (balanced 1/4" to XLR). No other effects, compression, or EQ, just the reverb pedal and delay module.
sweet. what was the make model of the mixer and tascam. i got a zoom h6 which should do the trick if it worked for you. good work man.
oh yeah haha thanks :)
How do I synchronize with ableton live? Illuminame, I already read the manual :/
+botpilot You'll want to search for the Ableton article "using external hardware with Live" and the article "Synchronizing Live via MIDI"
Yes, but the midi data does not arrive to my m32, ie yes, but I have to stop and again play the m32 sequencer, and thus, it does not go with the live clock: / I think it is a configuration in the m32 But still not walking with the live clock :/
Ie I do not have a midi mode with my permanent daw .. any suggestion I would thank you a lot
I've heard this issue has bothered a lot of folks when trying to sync to a DAW. Hopefully it's something they're able to fix with a firmware update, at some point.
super video...............
love it
I would like to buy a real synth. I have approx. 100-200€ (but it would be cool if it's below that) wich one do you recommand me ?
I'm not sure if there's anything in that price range, but it's close to an Arturia MicroBrute or a Roland Boutique. Might be better to invest in a MIDI controller and some software, unless you already have that.
+Rheyne thx for the answer (and the music of course)! I already have the software, a lanchpad and a m-audio keystation 32 (something like that and the USB is not working very fine it bugs when you move it a bit that's shit) which midi controller should I buy ?
+cereales pilleur Depends on what you're looking for (keys, pads, faders, encoders) but there's certainly a lot to choose from, these days.
+Rheyne OK. I would like something with knobs. have you got an idea for me please ? (it's very cool that you are helping people in the comments !)
+cereales killeur start with a roland Gaia, or a used Virus C or Nord lead 2 Rack. A synth is a synth if you're trying to learn. Some are monophonic and some are poly.
the bassline is really sweet mate
Tomas Horn Thank you!
enjoying this track repeatedly:) may I ask how exactly did you achieve the bassline sound around 1:00 ? I own only 1 mother, would it be possible to create such sound with just one? Thanks a lot in advance.
Yes, the bass is coming from the bottom Mother. That's basically the square wave with a slow LFO handling PWM. The VCA is switched-on so it holds the note, and I'm changing notes on the Mother-32 keyboard, while opening and closing the filter manually.

Bass came in... Like!
3x Mother-32, too epic! Very lush and interesting jam, like it a lot!
I've just uploaded a new Drum & Bass track, if you have the time...? ;-)
Wow. Why can't I get my Hall of Fame sounding this good?
Thank you! I had it on the "hall" setting with lots of decay, and I believe the tone knob was set mostly counter-clockwise. Mix was around 50/50.
🔝🔝🔝🔝🔝Rheyne👍👍👍🇨🇮🇨🇮🇨🇮
hey cool....can i feature this as a track on my channel? will credit you! love it!
Absolutely. Thanks very much!
thank you...very much appreciated!! Please sub as well,i put out stuff regularly!
Impressive.
Yann Guillermou Thank you!
Hell yes man wow.
Yes........32 et 64
Just let a musician play with a (semi) modulair and this is what you get....especially the first part. Very nice
+skoulaman Thanks Hans!
Holy huge Oakland booty Batman 😮
