Yea same!! When I braid the pieces either end up falling, going into different sections or getting tangled. I guess it helps when u have bigger hands so u can grab your hair easily

all you do us just cross it over like you would with a regular braid, except you add a piece to one side, cross then add a piece to the other side and repeat. It hurts yea but it's not that hard once u get the hang of it.

I struggle with any style I try. But this video gives me confidence to try again because the elastic makes sense and looks much easier. Getting the braided started was what I was struggling with. Thanks!
I taught myself when I was 14. I literally stomped and cried every time I failed. Sometimes you just have to go at it for hours until you get it perfect. I remember how hard it was. I recommend dampening your hair. It helps to get a tighter braid also keep your fingers closer to your head at the nape of the neck or it’ll end up being lose!

The elastic trick really helps. I have really long hair below my knees so the only thing I ever do with my hair is a braid, and I hate doing only ONE style EVERY SINGLE DAY. Thanks for the tutorial, really helped ;)
r u a lion bc I'll be taemin u all night In my opinion, I think french braids look better on me and are easier for me because for ponytails, I always want to make a high ponytail perfect with no bumps. On the other hand, french braids are quicker to do, and can almost always look perfect with no bumps (but sometimes with loose hair).
Everyone needs to calm down. As long as you have patience and you go nice and slow you'll get it. Trust me, I could not get it but then i just sat down and i went slowly and i just got it. It's not perfect, but it's pretty good as in I could go out in the public and wear it. So just have patience.

Don't worry. I was too when i tried this a year ago. But practice makes perfect! I now know how to do a french braid. :) it is now my fave hairstyle.

what if you cut your hair instead of the elastic😂
What I do is put my finger inside the elastic and extend it. It'll create a space so you can cut the elastic and not your hair
I did that before... Not fun😂

Your might not of been made for a braid it might of been made to other things. Just experiment
they make it look so simple but i tried so many times and still cant get it. why is this so difficult?
