So Glamfam, as a cosmetology instructor, I see areas where people tend to struggle on a regular. One of those areas is braiding, especially french braiding. I find that often people want to jump right into french braiding, without first learning the basics. That is why I made this in depth tutorial for beginners to help them learn how to french braid, better! As always, please feel free to leave your thoughts and requests in the comment section down below.
    Until next time Glambassadors,
take care, God bless, and stay Glam! You know I love you boo!

That was my only complaint about the video. He did such a great job taking his time and showing/talking us through his hair braiding tutorial but then at the end he doesn't show us how to end the braid. I just put a small hair rubber band around it a bunch of times. But would have been nice to see a professional do it and share any tips they might have in how to finish it at the end.

This is excellent. A big sign of the professionalism shown here, is how the stylist gets right down to the business at hand, without a look of chatter beforehand. He also anticipates potential problems showing how to avoid them as he goes. Kudos!

You’re a great teacher. I tend to want to start over when I mess up.
I teach drums and in music you can’t fix mistakes because something else is coming next. You can only focus on what’s next. You make fewer mistakes the more you practice.
So there you have it: braiding hair is like music- keep going if you make a mistake or miss a strand

Just following along and braided my dad's hair. For a first-ever French braid (a haw haw, iz tres chic, non?) it turned out pretty good. Not the tidiest or most symmetrical thing ever, but he loved the feeling of having someone playing with his scalp and I got to learn something I've wanted to know how to do for about 30 years, lol. While quarantine totally sucks, it is nice to have the time to learn and practice new skills. Thanks for the guidance, Fam!

I dont think I have ever felt as relaxed and slowed down watched a hair styling tutorial. And I dont think it is just his voice although thats probably a huge part of it. Just the way he holds the hair and gently braids it is visually calming. I also like the pace of this video. It is slow but absolutely not boring slow at all. I hate when I see so many hair tutorials that speed up at ANY point. This person genuinely seems to want to help people learn how to braid. Words cannot describe how much I enjoyed watching this. Have never in my life even attempted a French braid (though I have badly wanted to learn!) - l thought for sure it was super complicated and difficult, so I was too intimidated to even try. Well my daughter wanted double French braids for her school party tomorrow. One watch thru + rewatch of the start, mission accomplished! Of course they aren’t perfectly neat but a) they match each other in size and curve - yay! and b) kiddo is very happy with the result. I have no basis for comparison here but no matter. Between your thorough explanations and very helpful tips this mid-30s lady was able to fulfill a lifelong dream, so I sincerely appreciate your video. 😊 Who knows, maybe with some practice I might give it a go on myself one day!
