You know, Stan is actually really smart when you think about it. In order to get his brother back, he spent the last 30 years mastering the very machines his brother made, and is as almost well versed in the abnormal as Ford is.
That's what I've been thinking ever since I saw this episode. He is smarter than you think, a lot actually but they don't hint at it before or even after this episode, he went back to being just street smart and dumb for comedy.
He was also smart enough to use the money in the wallet he snagged on his way out to pay the cab driver to drive away, so they would chase it thinking he rode off in it.
Love how there is a report card in the background with A's for marks (only gym has a D). That is totally Ford's report card not Stan's and the agents have circled it and wrote "unlikely" next to it.
Mysterious Man he was pushing his 70's. like he stated in 'Dipper and Mabel vs the future' "Look at me. I'm pushing 70 and I still eat ice cream for dinner!" Lolz love that part.😂

Dude it hits so different watching these scenes knowing what he's trying to do. At first you're confused on what to feel, cause you don't know to cheer for him or to hope he doesn't get his way. But watching it again you're gonna root for him 100%.
In the next episode it shows him copying off of ford, if that is implying that those are the classes where he didn’t have his brother in them then that’s ingenious

Anyone else notice how long the guy had to work with the key to try and get the cuffs off? While Stan, he got them immediately despite being in zero gravity probably making it harder. Nice little detail of Stan knowing how to get out of cuffs quickly due to to his run-ins with law enforcement
Telling the driver to get away from the Mystery Shack is a very unexpected case of ethical egoism. The cab driver is safest away from the shack, and Stan gets to evade the cops. Win win
Fun fact. This is the first time we actually see what the inside of the police station looks like. In all the other episodes we just see the outside of it. Pretty interesting.
Stanley Pines ladies and gentlemen, the master of escape and the man who never misses an opportunity to steal a man's wallet or any form of illegal activity.
Not only is him stealing the wallet on his way out a fun gag that fits in with his character, it even ends up being relevant when he pays off the taxi driver. This show is so good at writing.
It’s even better when you realize Stan probably got the $100 bucks out of the guard’s wallet.
