Even though Grunkle Stan is a criminal, he still loves and cares for his family, and I like that about him. It shows that just because you commit crimes and do bad things doesn't mean you're an evil person. I think that's a very sweet message that isn't really told very often. Usually when a person is bad and commits horrible crimes, they're just even monsters and wanted to be bad people but Stan is different. Stan only wanted to be loved by his family. He only became this way as an effort to prove he isn't a failure just cause he isn't smart, but he also saved his brother and the entire town + his family, so I'd say he's a pretty good guy, intention wise at least
