my current 740 turbo wagon and old 240 wagon were hands down my favorite cars, they dont really get looks like some cars do, but every so often someone comes up and is like "hell yeah" and thats all ya can ask for.
Good stuff, our Volvo community has millions of stories to tell about these cars and why we love them
respect to the last guy keeping it OEM.
I bought my 945 Turbo manual just because it was RWD and cheap. I didn't know what I was getting in to. I just can't imagine myself with another car. It gets better by the day!

I used to ride togheter with my freind in his Volvo 740. It had 400 000 km on the clock when he sold it. Years later I met the new owner, he was still driving it.

My car is a 1997 945 with the high pressure turbo
Gotta love old school red blocks! (The 2.3L 4 cyl cast iron blocks were painted red..hence the name) the early Turbo engines had forged cranks (B23FT)…. The only red block to avoid like the raging shits is the 1989 engine. Aka “K” block.. as it had a K cast about center on drivers side of the block. Some dingbat thought it would be a good idea to go from 13mm rods to 9mm rods. 🤦♂️. And it don’t take much more than 3-4 psi boost above stock to break a rod! Ask me how I know 🤪
Love volvo great car, personally i love them because their so easy to fix, and the looks👌. Their way easier to get here in sweden.
