I've gradually moved to Ovonic in nearly everything I own and cannot say more good things about them.
Everything from my X-Maxx, to my Felony to my RC aircraft, EDF's and hell even my WL toys 144001's.
Excellent punch, balance perfectly and do the job very well.
In all honesty 0.1 of a volt isn't anything to worry about.
Love them!!
Good to hear, I've heard lots of good things and so far they seem great, of course I'll try them in more vehicles and extreme bashing

Did you ever get around to doing a long-term test on this battery and the Zeee battery. I can't decide what to get.
Great video! Mine only lasts about 13-15 minutes...have you had any problems with yours? what was your run time? I had it in a brushed 1/10 truck 4x4 12t motor!

I have a small ovonic 3s 1400mah 50c I think that I use in my mini e revo. I have had 0 issues, no puffing, perfectly balanced, and a great battery.

I like my Zeee batteries to buddy I just tried to go order some stickers but I couldn’t get in to order them. Have u thought about no prep drag racing?

Matt, I’m new to the inexpensive batteries, my only complaint is run time. My zeee’s have almost half the run time as my expensive batteries but they have good power. Always stay balanced. I would like to make and see you do a longevity video in the future! Congratulations on having UA-cam shorts now!!!🏆👍💯
I haven't tested run time on the expensive batteries but I do love a great battery, I think my problem is breaking them haha, I've broke a few expensive batteries from bashing and that's throwing money away, so for me, try the cheaper but good batteries, but you'll see expensive batteries in my speed run videos 😀
Great video bro doesn't matter what rc's your into they all need batteries and gens ace is expensive so always good to hear about new brands and if they really work or not 👍👊💯
I ended up investing in some ovonic batteries after watching Vas from Aussie RC Playground and I have to say they are perfect batteries for the price!!! They have lasted longer than my Common Sense RC Lectron Pro batteries. No puffing, no balance issues and the short packs fit perfect in my Gladiator!!!

@@MatthewSimm In my opinion yeah they are actually pretty decent and I've punished mine pretty good even with 30 runs a piece over the last year since I've had them.

Those cells where tanked definitely set your lipo cutoff to 3.8
3.2. 3.8 is storage. That’s 40% of the battery that you didn’t use.

Yeah under 3.0V/cell especially after the load is removed means those cells are damaged...
I thought it was the death of a battery if any of the cells went below 3.2v?

Ive been looking at these batteries for a while now and not sure about them because i'm always look for stuff to put in my edf jets.
I run the 3s 6500mah 80c in series on my reeper for 6s powering my max6 4985 combo and get about 15 minutes runtime
I always was curious of ovionic tho might try it soon I hear slot about it
I use GensAce and HRB. Only issue i have had is one swollen HRB 2s.

Does changing from a 850mah lipo to a 1100mah lipo same volts does that make it go any faster or does it just last longer
Last longer, but speed and punch is also related to the C value

What did you do agn to rebalance ur 6500 man battery? I have the same battery n have the same problem with it unbalanced.

Got my Zeee batteries today and can’t use them , they have bigger EC5 connectors in them so they won’t fit my charger , or cars and boats unbelievable
we've the zee batteries for our rc cars going to try these ovonic batteries
Ihave 4 3s ovonic lipos for my 6s typhon 50c and 80c and they perform great. The 3s 50c lipos are a little over a year and still going no problems and I am going to get 1 or 2 sets of ovonic 4s for my xmaxx hopefully I have the same luck. great video
Can you please tell me if the 50c vs 80c is any different on the typhon???
@christopherh6361 if you are really heavy on the throttle and you are geared higher than stock I would go with 80.

Bro, battery is not fine. Below 3.0v the chemistry of the battery is damaged. No if's or but's about it.
Also, capacity between 3.0v and 3.5v is about 5% of total capacity. Most of the capacity of a lipo is stored around 3.6v to 4.0v so it's pointless running it so low.
Lastly, 4mΩ internal resistance is not OK. Bigger lipos in terms of cells and capacity (mah) should have a lower reistance than smaller lipos. 4mΩ is poor for a 4S 6500mah lipo. You should be looking for under 2mΩ for an OK lipo, For a great lipo you should be looking at 1mΩ - 2mΩ. For a value lipo you should be looking for 2mΩ to 3mΩ. 4mΩ is plain bad for a lipo of this size.

All I know is zeee batteries to me is the best all around I have bought expensive suposed to be the best batteries negative the zeee outlasts every battery I've owned i got zeee batteries I've had for 4 straight years of hard bashing I haven't puffed or browned any zee battery I've ever owned

Omg my man you toasted that lipo no wonder why they were unbalanced at the end. Don’t go below a resting voltage of 3.8 a cell. Under load that cell is much lower going below safe and healthy voltage.
