    Great video! Thanks for spotlighting the Zee battery line as there are many rc enthusiast that run these batteries in their rigs. There’s another list that has been compiled including all lipo batteries on the market today and Zee batteries tested very low. Don’t fall for the 100c rating cause all brands are not equal. The Zee 7200 mah batteries (hard case) are very good batteries.

    What about "Redline" Gens Aces? Is the best which i can buy in the middle of the Europe. Have you some experience with this brand? Overall they seems to me like solid batteries. I have 6000mAh short pack and some 5000-6000 standard hard packed 2S. For small 1/10 im using one short or one long, depend on the truck. On 1/8 buggy i have two long connected into series. I not measured a resistance yet.

      @@RCexplained Gens Ace standard 2S hard pack 5300mAh. 5 and 6m Ohm (batt has 50C in spec) and has only few cycles. Old Gens Ace short pack 6000mAh 120C rated - 7 and 8m Ohms. Batt is 2 years old bought from second hand. Seems to me not bad. But as i said, bullets batteries has higher resistance. Some another brand with a 4mm bullets - 7500mAh had 4 and 5m Ohms as a new. New gens ace with cable and connectors had 1-2m Ohms. Really depend not only on manufacturer.

    I built a 1/10 Xray truggy and I’ve had nothing but issues. If it wasn’t overheating it was devouring the battery. It is my fault for using a 4.5t mod motor and overgearing it a bit. I finally settled on a 16t pinion and it’s not as fast as I was hoping it would be. If I go any higher it overheats. 18t does ok as long as it’s not too hot outside.
    I’m using a 4200mah reedy 2s pack. At full charge I can do one full power 0-132 foot run. On the way back it’s in limp mode from the voltage drop. The stadium truck it came out of could do pass after pass on a 5.5t mod motor and way higher gearing. Hopefully a better battery will fix it.

    • @AsurasWrath164
      @AsurasWrath164 11 місяців тому +3

      120 c out of such a small Pack is ridiculous! Not believable at all.
      You need a somewhat big pack to sustain such current. 120c means you could draw 2.2Ax120c=264A.
      264Amps is downright ridiculous.
      If they would say 20-25c that would be probably right.
      Ever wonder why traxxas batteries are so conservative with their c ratings?
      Not saying they are good, because they are mediocre at best. But at least they don't overpromise with their ratings.
