    There's no where in USA that can cook like in Mexico. I've been there and the flavors are WAY different than USA....succulent flavor. The freshness of the spices and the secrets of the Mexican cuisine inside of Mexico is incomparable.Most of their dishes are very spicy by nature but you can tell them to go easy on the Chile....lol. Love many latin Cuisines. Mexican, Cuban, Dominican, Jamaican, Colombian, Salvador and Brazilian.

    These people have no idea of cooking. So many negative comments. Just try the recipe and see what happens. This individual is taking time out to share his recipe. Why can't you be polite?? I wish I can just with you in a jack in the box in a cornfield in Iowa and see what happens...

  • @drewnoob17

    the main reason why is because everything is way fresher there than it is here. here in the US you have to deal with the usda and other agencies that by the time the items make it to the store or restaurant, its a little older because of the processing of it.

    Fajitas only exist in the Rio Grande Valley Border cities of Texas. Fajitas are not found in Mexico at all. Carne Asada and Parrillas are the dishes fajitas was spun off of.

    • @tedgottinger121
      @tedgottinger121 2 роки тому

      It would be more accurate to say that fajitas are a type of Carne Asada. The root of the word “fajita” is “faja” which is a girdle. So when you make carne asada using skirt steak (faja), it is fajitas.

    Just to add a few comments to this. If you check this location it's now permanently closed. I have spent my fair share of time back in a restaurant kitchen cooking fajitas. A1 Steaks sauce is never a base ingredient for real fajitas. Lime yes but not A1. Second you don't stir fry fajitas. You cook the onions you lay that on the hot skillet, followed by the meat on top. Third watch what he does at 4:19 . That is a major no no. You wash your gloves and resume work or put on new gloves. That alone would make me very squeamish eating there if it was still open. Fourth outside skirt steak or inside skirt steak is used for fajitas otherwise its not a true fajita. I couldn't tell from the quality of the video, but it look like he cut the meat the wrong way. Finally if you slow down the video when he takes a bite of the fajitas, you will notice a small grimace its very very subtle and hard to catch. Also afterwards he goes for the rice followed by putting his fork down puts his elbow on the table and looks down on the food, like this is a big pile of crap. If he truly liked the food he would not be putting his fork down and elbow on table. Finally using a1 and season salt. Would make those fajitas crazy salty like out of control salty.

      @@georgecostanza7777 Hi there Bolner's Fiesta Brand Fajita Seasoning or Soy Sauce and Pineapple 2 to 1 soy being more. I have seen some kitchens use teriyaki with garlic. look up salsa negra is another one used. The secret sauce is Mesquite chunks over coals or mesquite logs. I have also seen brown sugar, soy, garlic and a little ginger used. It's whatever the taste you want. I have seen even coke used and beer. Just get a bunch of skirt steak make it various ways until you land one that you like. If I recommend one you might not like it and prefer another one. But A1 and season salt in a marinade I have never seen before and I have worked in a lot of Tex-Mex kitchens.

    the seasoning seems pretty basic. the whole point is to cook the meat with the vegetables. what cheese is on the beans? I just get the feeling this wouldn't be very good.

    This dude's accent must be fake,he has no clue what hes doing....you can not make fajitas out of stake...its either a stake or fajita ..fajita is a cut of meat from the cow...the skirt from the belly of the cow.He cut the stake to look like fajita. BBQ is slow and low....Grill is hot and fast...This is more like On The Border.

    • @demoniclordwizard
      @demoniclordwizard 10 років тому

      you can make them with any good cut of meat though they are usually made from skirt or flank steak. I've eaten skirt and sirloin fajitas and the difference is negligible , as long as you have good fajita marinade, grill the meat right , and have good home made tortillas de harina with pico de gallo and guacamole you'll have good tacos. I've seen people grill traditional skirt steak fajitas and then make tacos with those premade flour tortillas from the grocery store and put sour cream and shredded cheese on them , like if they were making baked potatoes.

    Hispanics in South America do eat fajitas with sour cream, really? Tell me this isn't authentic! 'Cause I've been told there is no such thing as sour cream in the REAL fajitas! I mean only Mexican salsa and guacamole can only make fajitas the BEST fajitas. And for me personally, sour cream just ruins the whole freaking thing (the same goes for tacos) :/
