Finally found a sunscreen that works for my sensitive skin. The littlellextra rice berry sunscreen provides excellent protection minus the those breakouts. A must-try for people with similar skin issues. Don’t forget to apply again every two hours, especially when outdoors. I also use vitamin C face serum from riceberry and I am noticing that my skin tone is getting better day by day.
I have super oily skin, and I too have tried Rice Berry sunscreen. It’s hands down the best sunscreen I’ve ever tried. No whitecast at all and feels super light. I would highly recommend this to those who have extremely oily skin like me.
The first few times I saw Bubble brand in the store, i kind of giggled to myself and thought, "Oh, how cute, skin products for tweens!". The packaging put me off a little bit, and I didn't take the brand seriously enough to even look into it. I'm 47 and didn't think the Bubble line had anything that could help my skin. Jen, you have convinced me otherwise, and I'll be purchasing a few of the products you mentioned in the near future 😊
I got an email today from Alter Ego and your video on their palette is in it! Proof you are a Superstar! I hope this brings you a ton of new subscribers, you deserve it! ❤🇨🇦
As a new mom I have no time for a multi-step skincare routine. I have been loving the Olay Super Serum line as an all-in-one step. There's a day and night version and I just use it after cleansing and under my moisturizer, definitely noticed a difference when I ran out. Kind of expensive for the drugstore but it packs a punch, and I recently snagged a 2-pack for a discount at Costco.
I use it too. Helps cut down on all of the extra steps. By the time you buy all of the different serums, you are spending the same, if not less for the olay.
I like that serum too although it has fragrance which can be irritating for some people. It's definitely a great all in one product, I recommended it in my last drugstore skincare video. 🥰❤️
That’s a good tip! I have about a years worth of boxycharm serums to finish up, but my routine is out of control & im using five serums in the AM. My skin is extraordinarily dry & I live on the scrub prairie, so my skin soaks it up, but I’d prefer to do 1-2 serums & add moisture through my very budget friendly gold bond holy grail face lotions & pack on even more spf too
I agree.. I have been using the Olay in the Red and Purple pots...I have had a huge improvement in my skin since using it, reduced fine lines around my eyes.👌👍
Speaking of Palmer's, their plain old cocoa butter lotion has been my holy grail of holy grail hand and foot lotion for.... I dunno, twenty years?? It's beyond holy grail. I cannot live without it!!
@@BlingyBea It's just the regular Cocoa Butter Lotion - not unscented - it's one of the few scents I can stand - but the unscented one is fine too. they have a lot of variations but I'm just looking for the OG, basic one.
I used that when I was pregnant and I didn't get any stretch marks! It's amazing! But my husband HATES the cocoa scent. Every night when I got in bed he was like, "ugh!!"
They briefly made a coconut oil lip spf with a soft matte finish, I love it so much! I only bought two tho, and they stopped making it with SPF very quick. It’s great when you want a balm over a stain or lipstick but not a glossy or oil stain. It’s dimethicone, which not everyone loves, but for me, that finish youthifies my lips!
The Dove Bond Repair line is my favorite discovery of 2024 so far! The first time I used it, I hadn't had a trim in at least 4 months, and my hair was so silky soft I couldn't stop touching it! The price makes it even better.
Jen, I gotta tell you, your choices and product reviews are simply amazing. Ever since you recommended the Bubble sunscreen, I went online to Ulta’s App bought a few more of Bubble’s products. I bought the cleanser, the lactic acid serum, moisturizer, and even a benzoyl 5% peroxide treatment called Fade Away for occasional breakouts that I still get at 72 yrs old. All of the Bubble products I bought are wonderful. Byoma is another favorite of mine. I stated using their clarifying serum when my favorite Pixi serum was on sale and out of stock at Ulta. I like the Byoma one better because it is not as harsh and doesn’t burn my skin. I’m on my second bottle. I also bought their cleanser that comes in a yellow bottle and I’m enjoying that also. The Elf vitamin A oil is a nice gentle retinol night oil. I also bought the vitamin A serum. Think I’m going to save them for the cooler months when my skin can tolerate them better. Thanks for a great video. It’s been pouring rain here all day along with thunder and lightening. For some reason it has a calming effect on me. Go figure!🙏🏻🥰
I love the Bubble tinted sunscreen. Now that you’ve pointed out the cleansing gel and other of their skin care sounds like there’s some real gems in this line!
I completely stand by drugstore skincare, and as a cruelty free girlie some of my favourite brands are the inkey list, elf skin, glow hub and made by Mitchell skincare too, I’d love to try bubble there’s a travel kit on beauty bay at the minute that looks like mini sizes to try a few different products which I think you’ve just convinced me I need 😍✨
I still love the inkey list too! The fulvic acid cleanser is a little odd smelling (it’s actual peat in there!) but WOW that’s good stuff, takes off everything but waterproof eyeliner & mascara! I just wish they would bring the madecassesoide mask back (and rename it “cica” like everyone else lol), that is the only clay mask I’ve ever tried that is so moisturizing it can be an overnight mask! I’ve got several hydrating clay formulas but none this good! I fold it out only when necessary - it’s a surefire soother.
I LOVE the Bubble Daydream. I'm on my third or fourth bottle. It really makes a difference in the appearance of my skin, and it doesn't irritate it. A little goes a long way, so each bottle lasts awhile. For reference I have oily mature skin.
Jenn, your skincare videos are so fun to watch! I’ve purchased many products you’ve recommended and am obsessed! Please keep reviewing skincare, you’ve introduced me to brands I didn’t know existed and my skin is really loving them.
Love Bubble skincare! I am 62 with dry sensitive skin and I have been using the morning rays brightening eye cream. It has Tetrahexyldecyl vitamin C which is more stable than l-ascorbic and doesn't cause any irritation to my skin. My under eyes feel more moisturized, and a little brighter, and once a week I have been using the deep dive AHA + PHA exfoliating mask. Leaves my face feeling so soft! Love your channel! I get so many great product recommendations from your videos ❤
I'm almost 52 years old and I use Bubble's Overnight Mask on the days I don't use my tretinoin at night. I also started using their eye cream. I love the packaging and it's amazing for traveling but I truly believe they do themselves a disservice as many people believe it's a tween only line. The Dove Bond Repair line has given me better results than Redken and Biolage and I swear they smell like luxury products. SO SO good.
I’ve been loving bubble skincare! I have combo oily acne prone skin and the water cream is my new holy grail. I may have to try the one you recommended as fall approaches.
I love drugstore skincare! My skin adores CeraVe & the Aveeno Calm & Restore line plus several Good Molecules products! The only pricey product I own is my eczema cream and that I because my insurance doesn’t cover it 😂 thank goodness a little goes a long way with that! Love these videos from you! ❤
I absolutely love your skincare videos, Jen, and bonus that it's all drugstore! My favorite drugstore hydrating toner is the Cerave in the green bottle, but the Byoma toner looks amazing, and I want to try every single one of the Bubble products. Thank goodness my no-buy is over 😂
For hair in the drugstore, my favorite is Hask. They have shampoos and conditioners and styling products, and masks for any hair type and they smell great. Their prices can't be beat either.
As someone with lifelong dry, sensitive skin with rosacea, my favorite drugstore product is the CeraVe Skin Renewing Night Cream. It's the one that comes in a jar with a purple stripe. Anyway, it calms and soothes my skin, repairs it practically overnight, and is very moisturizing. As a skincare junkie, it's one of the few products I've repurchased for many years!
After the no buy last month, which was a test to realize I don't need everything I see. Yesterday, I went to Ulta and picked up new naked pallet. I never had the first one. Since I am cool tone and so is the pallet, I love it.
Yay! I absolutely love your skin care videos, Jen! They are so good and often I'll reference them if I'm interested in trying a new product. Gonna settle in and watch this while I eat my dinner!
@@sandybowers5085 I like the scrub bc it is very coarse. The body wash smells great but it doesn't later up nice and foamy. There is another body butter and I forget the name but it is new and it is supposed to smell like another 1 of the sol de Janeiro fragrances. If you get that one as well please report back. (Not the coconut one)
So glad to hear your good review of the EOS Vanilla Cashmere lotion. I put it in my Walmart groceries pickup order today without ever knowing anything about it. Now I can’t wait to go pick up my order!
Oh this was absolutely fun! I don't mind if you review ANY products, even if it's not makeup. I trust you completely. The hair serum made a beautiful difference on you! I've been loving the loreal bond repair shampoo/conditioner. You're beautiful. Thank you for being here for me !
I love the bubble vitaminc serum. Im 53, dry & sensitive skin. Its the only vit c that doesnt irritate my skin, and ive seen major improvement in my roseacea with it too. The moisturiser is lovely when my skins irritated from tretinoin sometimes. Might try the gel cleanser in future too.
I have been loving that Dove shampoo and conditioner as well. I have super thick wavy curly hair that gets dry and it just makes my hair smell good for so long and feels so good too. I am loving the honey line from bath& body works. The spray, the lotion and the creamy body wash. Yummy
LOVED these❤ Can't wait to try those products from Bubble, and that coco butter cream from Palmers! One of my favorite skin serums is Olay Super Serum. It has a slight scent to it, but it dissipates quickly. But it works really well, and it's a bargain when you figure, if you bought those 5 serums separately, it would be more $$$. Also Loreal Revitalift 12% Vitamin C + E, Salicylic. Amazing chemical exfoliant. Wear at night, because it will pill underneath makeup. I also like Missha Time Revolution First Essence toner/hydrator. I've been using it since you recommended it many moons ago, as a dupe, or similar to SKII. 🥂💃💯💖
Wow! This is a fantastic video!! Thank you so much for sharing these economical alternatives. Looking forward to trying the new Palmer's. God Bless you Jen!!!💜💜
Have you ever tried the vitamin C serum from Vanicream? It used tetrahexyldecyl ascorbate and my dermatologist told me it's her fav vitamin C because it doesn't cause irritation as often. I can't use L ascorbic acid but I can do THD, MAP SAP. THD is oil soluble so it can penetrate deeper in the skin. I live in Texas so Vit C is a must with sunscreen!
Thank you for this. Skin & haircare products can really add up since you use them daily or multiple times a week. Aveeno makes great products especially for sensitive skin that may have eczema or rosacea. I was using their creamy moisturizing body lotion (it has an oil in the lotion & smelled amazing )but could only find it on Amazon & it had gotten scarce plus they raised the price. It went from $14.99 to over $20 & it's a small bottle that you go thru quickly. Palmers had too strong of a scent for me (I loved it but it gave me a headache) Eucerin smelled too medicinal & wasn't that moisturizing. Currently using a big bottle of Gold Bond face & body lotion which can be used on the face in a pinch (I use it as ahand cream after hand washing) It's got a water cream texture which is nice if you shower in the morning & then get dressed but I stll feel I need something richer in the evening. I don't get to Target or Walmart in person much since I don't drive (those stores kind of overwhelm me & our local Target/Walmart doesn't always have what you want in store anyway) so knowing what to look for or order from the website is very helpful. I found The Inkey List watercream & peptide moisturizer & those work so well for me. No fragrance & no actives that flair my rosacea. My skin hates HA & it's in everything now. I have to read labels carefully.
The drugstore has lots of great skincare products. My favorite is Eucerin Q10 face cream. It comes with or without retinol. I use the one without retinol because I already use Tretinoin.
I recently tried the milky glaze by Rhode. It's $30 so a little more than you would pay at the drugstore but it's the most soothing hydrating toner I've ever tried. It is amazing!
Is it my imagination or did Tree Hut used to be much cheaper? I seem to remember videos where people talked about it being like $5.99 or something… where I am 🇨🇦 the scrubs are $16.99 🫣. I hope the Palmers cream makes its way here soon! I have been using the Coconut Hydrate Body Oil. It’s so good at hydrating your skin and smells nice. Your content has been amazing the last 6 months, Jenn. I really appreciate your detailed descriptions and opinions as well as your relatability. ❤
I love this! Being a stay at home military spouse I am definitely a big drugstore product user. I got that body wash at Walmart and it smells amazing.thank you
Hello Jen, I just want to tell you how happy i am that you recommend the bubble vit c serum. I adore it. I was using vanicream vit c, but found that far too hydrating to wear during the day for my combo/oily skin. The bubble brand is perfect for me. My next purchase will be their moon walk exfoliating serum. Thank you Jen!! Youre the best
I’m not sure if someone else has already said it but I think the Sunday Riley Luna oil has blue tangsy which, I believe, is something that works similar to retinol
Correct, and the Sunday Riley Luna does have blue tansy PLUS retinol, it’s printed on the label. I got it the other day because of the retinol inclusion. Great video otherwise, Jen! 👍❤️
I didn't want tjis video to end. Ill definitely be trying the the pecan body lotion & the vanilla body cream. I love vanilla, coconut & musk scents. Ive been using philosophy warm cashmere for years. TFS these great products, love your channel & yes your skin is looking amazing.❤ ❤❤❤
Thanks Jen for sharing some love for affordable gems at the drugstore 🎉 Those products from Bubble are so cute . I've been using the Neutrogena Ultra Creamy fragrance free cleanser for over 5 years now. The Vanicream SPF 30, Moisturizing Lotion and Shampoo/Conditioner are a few of my favorites too. As always your videos are great company while enjoying my tea. Take care everyone 🌹
I can tell this is going to be a wonderful video Jen. It's great to learn about the EOS, Tree Hut and Bubbles products. I knew about the Dove products but not the Dove hair stuff. I've sent some of the other Dove products to my sister. This has been a wonderful and fun video Jen and very helpful as all of your videos are. Thank you so much and I hope you have a very good day too.❤💗🙏🌹🌺🌸💐
Jen, have you tried the Thayers Milky Toner (there’s NO witch hazel in it, I checked)? I think it says something about snow mushrooms in it, but I’m not sure that single ingredient really makes a difference. I am dry skinned and it has HA in it. It my favorite hydrating toner lately and it lasts FOREVER (12oz). I can use it on my neck and chest, my upper arms, and multiple times on my face without worrying about the price or if it will run empty quickly. Simple packaging, easy to find at both Walmart and Target, etc. I just love to put it on my face after I wash every day. Thayer’s also has a milky hydrating cleanser within the same snow mushroom ingredient line that I really like as well. Worth checking out, maybe.
Byoma oil cleanser is 🔥. I don't even have to do a second cleanse after it. I have combo leaning oily skin. This removes everything and doesn't strip my skin or leave a residue. I can do a second cleanse, but it isn't necessary with this. Also, Byoma's Brightening Serum. I am on my third bottle of it. It is hydrating, barrier boosting, brightening goodness. It is a love forever product. I also like their Rich moisturizer in the purplish bottle with bakuchiol. I can't speak to any of their other products, but these are all repurchases.
Loving your hair lately Jenn! Love the colour. I always double cleanse and love the Cerave Oil foaming cleanser to remove makeup and sunscreen then follow up with Neutrogena Ultra Gentle foaming cleanser. Love the combo. By the way, I’m in Toronto, Canada and it’s Thundering and pouring here too. Couldn’t tell whether I was hearing your thunder or mine!
I love the scents of the Sol de Janeiro but this continues the blue one which was by favorite. However I never liked the texture and how it left me sticky. I’m so excited to try that cocoa butter tub.
I'm absolutely loving the Bubble Plus One sunscreen, thanks to your recommendation! I'm also loving the Aveeno oat-based Calm and Restore cleansing liquid; I can't find my favorite old (old!) Olay cleanser anywhere anymore. I've heard a lot of good about Byoma skincare products, so I'll be working some of those into my routine as I use up others. Love that you mention "No fragrance!" I've had to shop in a different WalMart bc I got caught opening a toner bottle to take a sniff, so I'm in the doghouse at that store. I bought the product anyway, but I'm pretty sure my face was bright red for awhile. Thanks Jen! Go play in the rain!
@@JenPhelpsyes, well, this one WalMart associate is the one they call "the Nazi". I heard they transferred her over to the skincare & makeup corral from electronics, where she became known for keeping order and catching shoplifters. I'm waiting for my photo to show up on the Wall of Shame behind the registers. Things are tough out here in SoCal!😜
l love this! And I've recently become a fan of a lot of the Palmer's products - Bonding Conditioning Masque and love it, and I've been using the Skin Therapy Cleansing Oil and Face Oil for a while. And now I must hunt down that Coco cream.
I've never tried Bubble or Byoma but now I want to 😆 I don't need more skincare products right now but I trust your recommendations 😉 taking notes for a future haul 😁... thnx for all you do Jen, I love your content 💯... hugzzz 💜 P.S. You look absolutely beautiful! 😍
I adore the Elf Blue-Ty sleep oil. It’s been working so well for me! Amusingly, it was storming here in MD as I was watching the video, and you actually said “it’s thundering” at the same time as it did, in fact, thunder here.

I have been loving my Pacifica retinol body Serum in the spray bottle, it’s so incredibly hydrating and my sling always feels soooo incredibly smooth
The eos champagne pink body lotion is really good too! ❤
Jen, you are always beautiful ❤
Great overview and I’m so inspired to try more Korean skincare! Thank you for all of your work, you’re such a sweetie!
Great video as always Love the Bubble tinted sunscreen started using it after your sunscreen haul. Thank you Jen
I have been loving that Dove shampoo and conditioner as well. I have super thick wavy curly hair that gets dry and it just makes my hair smell good for so long and feels so good too. I am loving the honey line from bath& body works. The spray, the lotion and the creamy body wash. Yummy
That sounds amazing!!
Love these types of videos. I’m fine with you branching out into other avenues of life. Thanks! ❤
Your hair looks really nice in the video! Healthy and shiny! Thanks for the great content.
Thank you so much! 🥰❤️
I really appreciate that you mention mostly cruelty-free brands!
Per your recommendation I bought the Bubble Sunscreen. Works wonderful! Thank you for all your videos. Always enjoy them. ❤️
I LOVE the EOS Vanilla Cashmere Moisturizing Lotion.
Love the storm rolling in!
I love that cream! I recommended it in my last drugstore skincare video. 🥰
I recently tried the milky glaze by Rhode. It's $30 so a little more than you would pay at the drugstore but it's the most soothing hydrating toner I've ever tried. It is amazing!
I just got it recently too! The Byoma one is super similar.
Yes you're right! They did go way up.
Drugstore goods yessss 😊thanks Jen
I love these videos! Thank you for talking about Bubble, I thought it was for teens. I have recently discovered the EOS lotion, I loooove it!!
Jen, thanks for the video. I need all of them, especially the hair products. God bless you and yours.
@@Noora2299 tansy…THAT’S the word I was looking for :)
This was a great video 👍🏼 Your drugstore videos are my favorite to watch.❤
I really like your hair parted a little off-center like this. You look so pretty, as usual.
That vanilla cashmere lotion is so good, I've bought about 5 so far. I'm a vanilla gourmand person for sure.
Thanks for so many new products you can recommend! Always appreciate your research and reviews 💕.
10/10 for the Dove shampoo and conditioner. The serum is ok, but the shampoo, conditioner and mask are the best!
You always have the best recommendations, Jen. Thanks for everything you do❤
I can tell this is going to be a wonderful video Jen. It's great to learn about the EOS, Tree Hut and Bubbles products. I knew about the Dove products but not the Dove hair stuff. I've sent some of the other Dove products to my sister. This has been a wonderful and fun video Jen and very helpful as all of your videos are. Thank you so much and I hope you have a very good day too.❤💗🙏🌹🌺🌸💐
You are my dry skin twin!! Thanks for all the affordable options!🎉
Under your influence I tried the Bubble sunscreen. Love it. I will be trying more from that line as I run out of current products. Thank you!
I love a good drugstore video❤
Great skincare for dry skin video. Thank You Jen 🩷
I think she did mention this a while back
@@FourJaysFour yes. She tried it after myself and several others suggested it here. Jen is so good about reading the comments and trying suggestions.
I need to try them all! 🥰
Jen you made me want so many of these products because you’ve never steered me wrong
Love this video! I’ve been wanting to try so many of the products you reviewed! ❤❤
Love the skin care and body care content! I added a few products to my list. Thanks! ❤
happy sunday. we're having storms coming through too. Just as you started getting thunder, I got a clap outside too! 😆
Jen, i loved this video, the palmer products are lovely,,my son uses this,,Garnier sell a lovely cleanser and toner for sensitive skin its great🌼🌹🌺💖💖
I love the scents of the Sol de Janeiro but this continues the blue one which was by favorite. However I never liked the texture and how it left me sticky. I’m so excited to try that cocoa butter tub.
Love this video! Thanks for all the great products.
Oh my gosh they actually said something to you?? I see people sniffing stuff all the time and no one says anything.
Yay! I needed this video. I'm always in search. My skin seems to be forever changing 😂🥹😭
l love this! And I've recently become a fan of a lot of the Palmer's products - Bonding Conditioning Masque and love it, and I've been using the Skin Therapy Cleansing Oil and Face Oil for a while. And now I must hunt down that Coco cream.
I’ve been loving the black snail line that is at TJ Maxx!! It’s a Korean line. Toner, moisturizer, and serum.
I've never tried Bubble or Byoma but now I want to 😆 I don't need more skincare products right now but I trust your recommendations 😉 taking notes for a future haul 😁... thnx for all you do Jen, I love your content 💯... hugzzz 💜
P.S. You look absolutely beautiful! 😍
I adore the Elf Blue-Ty sleep oil. It’s been working so well for me!
Amusingly, it was storming here in MD as I was watching the video, and you actually said “it’s thundering” at the same time as it did, in fact, thunder here.
Oh wow that's too funny!! 🌩️
So beautiful! I'm eager to try it out. 😍🙌
I am glad to hear your review on Bubble. I have seen so much recently and thought it would be for teens.
Also, I love your bracelets ❤
Loved this video !
