Jen, a little tip for cleansing oils that don't work out as skincare is to use them to clean your makeup brushes. They remove makeup so easy and cleans the bristles really fast.
Also, do you think the Cetaphil serum with the beads can be repurposed to try on your neck to see if it also tightens like it did on your face? If that works, that would be a good hack for helping neck lines/wrinkles, and crepey skin. I've just started using retin-A on my neck area so can't report yet if it helps.
I love how you talk about the items. Most declutters I see are just, keeping this, getting rid of this types. Yours are mini reviews. TY for taking the time to do that. It is SOOOO helpful. ❤
I've noticed that too. It's nice to hear what the products are supposed to do and how if not it worked for her. She's great at explaining everything. It helps to make better choices for ourselves.
Yes, I love these kind of video. I bought the Cosrx and Klairs toners after I watched this video and I'm so glad. My skin has become dry over time so I'm searching for products. I also bought the Eucerin Q10 ........Love love love it....Thanks Jen😊
I placed my first iHerb order for several of the fascinating K-beauty products Jen recommended. One hour after I ordered it was shipped and two days later it arrived at my door. What amazing service!
I use tretonoin at night and use my Vitamin C during the day. Vitamin C may help boost the effect of sunscreen and because it's an antioxidant it helps decrease sun damage.
@@anncollard1742 I know you are asking Jen, but this is one of my favorite categories! On the high end I love the Grande Plumping Lip Mask. My affordable favorite right now is the elf Holy Hydration Lip Mask. Do you have favorites?
I do my makeup standing up in my large closet and just spent 3 days organizing and decluttering too. It's very satisfying and makes it so much more enjoyable getting ready for the day and for bed
Go Jen Go! Long ago, I limited myself to just three of each category, to be sorted down to just two. I've been pretty good about it so far, but seasonal changes can eliminate all my resolve. It doesn't matter this time around - No Buy July is truly one of your best ideas! Thanks for the video!
🎉 Guess that's why my mom and dad had separate bathrooms😉👍. They had a long marriage, large estate, happiness; but their own separate bathrooms,🤣. * For the best hydration, try Maelove's peptide(s) solution; 💯 Terrific skin hydration.
I have been using Tretinoin nightly for over 7 years, and I do exfoliant on occasion. For reference, I have Rosacea, Hyperpigmentation, dry and sensitive skin. I prefer to use an exfoliating toner like Medik8 Press and Glow. It's very gentle and the ingredients are fantastic. Many people on Tretinoin find exfoliating unnecessary, as Tretinoin causes cell turnover. A PHA cleanser or toner can be used if you're looking for a little something extra and your skin doesn't mind it. I wouldn't recommend any exfoliating agents until you're through the retinization period. For most people, that's about 3 months. If you are acne prone, the retinization period can be longer. 😊
I'm late to the Tretinoin , as I've been on it for a year, the middle strength 0.05, & my face still gets peeling & flaking. I always had normal but now as I've gotten older, way drier. I know it causes cell turn over which is good so I'm just dealing with it.But will my skin (around my mouth especially) ever get "used " to it? Thinking maybe I should "sandwich" method but I want the most from it & want that tret the 1st thing on my skin. I even put it under & around my eyes for crows feet & fine lines & hope thats okay?
@onlytruth247 I understand wanting to get the best results, but at the same time, if you push your skin too much you could ruin your moisture barrier. You could try going down to .025 to see if you tolerate that better. If you can use that at least 5/6 nights a week without any irritation, try adding .05 a few nights a week, and increase the usage. Like you said, you could also use the sandwich method with a light moisturizer as a buffer. Adding a couple drops of an oil to a moisturizer after Tret can also help with dryness. Using a petroleum based product like CeraVe Healing Ointment around the dry spots prior to applying Tret can help prevent further irritation. Using hydrating products like a toner, serum, or essence in your morning routine can really help with repairing the moisture barrier and preventing further damage. If you can handle Tret around your eyes without irritation, then there's no reason you should stop. I've been doing it for years, and it's a game changer. As far as the mouth area, a lot of people experience drying and peeling there. You could try buffering just that area and see if that helps. I hope this helps ☺️
I use to get the peeling on my chin area all the time even after a couple of years on it. I started putting a drop of CBD oil only on my chin area then put on my tretinion, it stopped peeling after a few months. I don’t get it hardly ever anymore. I’ve been on the 0.05% for over 8 years.
Oooo it’s a long one. 🤩Hunkering down with a Baileys & coffee for this one. ☕️ What a great way to unwind. Thanks Jen. Tatcha is my ride or die moisturizer. It’s pricey, but a jar lasts me forever. I just can’t quit it 😂..nothing compares.
I have combo mature skin and I still focus on hydration. I have the Haru haru toner, the Cosrx cream mist, and the Cosrx peptide serum as well. Love them all. Recently bought the Cosrx retinal cream, and no issues yet. I also love the Peach and Lily Dew Essence.
I’ve used tretinoin for several years now. Especially during the first year, I found my skin needed help exfoliating all of the cell turnover. I saw a UA-cam video (Pampered Wolf) demonstrating how to use cleansing oil to use as a gentle massage for exfoliation. I do that for 5 minutes or so when my skin feels like it needs it, usually every 7-10 days. It’s soothing and gentle and works like a charm. I use a thin layer of Hada Labo to start with and add more if I need more slip.
I bought the Haruharu Wonder cleansing gel bc of you and now it’s my holy grail. I’ve gone through 2 of them so far. We’re the same age and my sensitive skin loves it.❤
I saw your vanity and nearly cried! Mine looks almost the same full with bottles, tubes and jars and spares of everything in cupboards 😅 The only difference, I'm not a beauty blogger😂 I'm a regular 54 yr old trying to take care of my skin but clearly I'm easily influenced. I've made 2024 a no buy year! Thanks for sharing a comprehensive video ❤
During the winter I sometimes spray the Cosrx ceramide spray on my face throughout the day to keep it hydrated. It surprisingly doesn’t disrupt my makeup-it actually seems to refresh it!
I had the same experience with the Cerave moisturizing cream as you did with the Laneige. I feel like past a certain viscosity, the creams don’t have enough water to spread so they sit on the skin and don’t hydrate well. And I don’t want to rub my face so hard to force it in. I’m using the City Beauty cream, but often my skin burns and turns red - maybe the fragrance. Your before/after looked amazing. Very inspiring.
Yes!! That must be it...they're so thick that they just don't spread or hold much water. I'm sorry the City Beauty is irritating you...it could be the fragrance!!
Whenever I have a skincare product that didn’t work out for my face, I just use it on my body. I can’t bring myself to just throw it out and it gives the illusion that I didn’t waste my money.
If I have a product that doesn't work out for my face - especially if it is too heavy for my combo oily skin - I always use it on my feet which makes them happy! 😆
I love your nails. I use cleanser I don't like for my face on my hands. I'm so picky and sensitive. I love the la roshe posay gentle foaming cleansing oil. I bought that after watching your review. I'm using the cerave right now, but as soon as I'm done, I'm buying the la roshe posay. I also use the cleansers to clean my brushes.
I’ve been using Tret for over 20 years, and I still use an exfoliating product twice a week. I rotate between the Dr Gross peel pads (Hg product!), Sunday Riley Good Genes, Paula’s Choice Mandelic + Lactic Acid Liquid Exfoliant (it’s a newer item), or Peach & Lily Power Cocktail. I usually use Tret four nights per week, exfoliate 1-2 nights per week, and do tons of moisturizing products (usually a sheet mask and cream mask, plus all of my essences) one night a week. My skin loves this schedule, so I stick with it. 😅
@@mistytells someone told me that term a while back, and I was like “I was wayyyyyyyyy ahead of the curve on this one (for once!), because I’ve been doing it for decades!” 😎💃😂
@@JenPhelps be sure to ease your way into the Tretinoin, to make sure you don’t have too much dryness. Just start with a night or two per week, then go up from there. And Tretinoin can migrate, so avoid the crease around your nose, the corners of your mouth, and your eye area. You probably already know all of that, but I like to tell people, just in case! 😉 Hope it all works well for you! 💓
i love Numbuzin products ! their sunscreen (one with a green tint) is awesome. i love K beauty skincare. i’m in the market for a firming neck cream. glad you have extra room after the declutter!
The Pyunkang Yul essence toner is the most hydrating product I've ever owned! I think you'd love it when you're ready for a new toner. When I travel i use the Pyunkang Yul deep pore cleanser foaming cleanser, their essence toner, and just good 'ol cetaphil moisturizing lotion, and my skin feels amazing.
I use timeless, vitamin C in the mornings and tretinoin in the evenings.… Seems to work. And right now you’re on a very very low dose of tretinoin so it shouldn’t be a problem.
I do use a gentle exfoliate once or twice a week even though I’m using Retin-A. I get dry skin flakes around the corners of my mouth and that really helps to get rid of them.
Just an FYI - Tretinoin can migrate a couple of millimeters, so be sure to avoid the corners of mouth, the crease around your nose, and around your eyes. My derm told me this many years ago, and it really helped me avoid issues in those areas. Hope that helps. 😉
Your declutters are the BEST! So soothing to watch and full of mini reviews. Thanks for all you do! ❤ Also curious if you’ve tried the Tatcha Indigo cream or the Pyunkang Yul Intensive repair cream?
Not to encourage your skincare purchases but you should try the brand Prequel. It’s developed by a dermatologist and it has a small variety of awesome products. They have a new hydration serum that reminds me of the Cosrx snail mucin.
I love the Cosrx ceramide cream mist(and the cream to match) and the 6 peptide essence., love! I also use the Torriden solid in ceramide essence /serum. It's ceramides, cholesterol etc are high up in the ingredients list and full of everything you need for hydrated skin. But I've recently started using the Man.yo panthetoin essence toner. It's incredible. It's quite thick in the bottle, it has that super hydrator ectoin ingredient and panthenol etc too. They also have a balm cream too. So for dry skin, it's been incredible. I layer them all at night and my skin is still hydrated throughout the next day. The Man.yo panthetion is definitely worth it if you have dry or dehydrated skin, as well as the Torriden solid in ceramide essence line. I love skincare and love watching skincare videos. It's always good to see what others are using and what they think about them. I've had some great recs from the few people I watch. I only watch you and Alice in the rabbit hole. And sometimes James Welsh. 💚
I've been waiting on this!!!! You've taught this almost 70 year old so much. I feel like I have same skin as you ( just older👵) BUT is your sunscreen after all these morning products? Thank u Jen. I'll be ordering some of these through your links of course. I'm actually about to head to the beach Monday so jumping on some of the moisturizing things b4 I go;)
Good job with the decluttering, Jen! I will bet that is a big relief for you...and hubby. I am impressed with all the links you provided for the products. Thanks for all the hard work. Good to know what has worked for you and what hasn't. thanks for sharing.
Whoa you don't double cleanse at night?!! Your skin looks amazing so that really shocks me!!!! Presently testinng the Innbeauty elastic serum and loving! I can't get behind anything D'alba or Naturium though. They just don't work for me.
Oh wow!!! Look at all those products!!! Definitely time for a clear-out!!😂😂 I'm glad I have found some good skincare products, every so often, I hear of something 'wonderful' or something on sale that sounds fantastic, but most often, I end up going back to my favourites and Olay products are great, I've seen them recommended by dermatologists, the one with retinol at night and with collagen for day... a good cleanser, a vit C for dark spots and a once a week exfoliator. 😊👌👍
I also try a bunch of different skincare, and I usually end up going back to my favorites. I was just telling myself that I need to go through all of my skincare products and figure out what I still want to try out and either give away the rest or get rid of it. Hopefully this video will help me get in the mood to do it sooner rather than later.
Great video! I use tretinoin, and since starting I don’t use exfoliating products much. Occasionally a chemical exfoliant, maybe once or twice a week. Rarely I will use a physical exfoliant. I’ve read the same, that it’s not really necessary with tret. I most use decalt a few times a week and that’s it. When I was adjusting to my new strength, I put it on over moisturizer, then put another layer of moisturizer. That was what I needed to keep my skin from peeling. Now I use it before my moisturizer.
What a great declutter . Love the way you separated & explained everything. I got some great recs & thanks for mentioning iherb (never heard of ) bc I stopped trusting Amazon for years now. What a collection. I tend to hold on to everything & this inspired me to declutter. Thanks Jen♡
I’ve been on tret for about 4 years and I only really use an exfoliating toner when I notice clogged pores, or more texture than normal, which is probably once a month, whereas before I started tret I used one almost everyday
I’ve said this before….i really appreciate you going over each product. Some products that you declutterred would look great for me. I have combo skin and live in a humid/hot climate. Some of my facial products that I didn’t love for my face…I’ll use on my body to use it up or offer it to my daughter.
Jen -- great video with such good info on the products. I am in exactly the same boat and you're inspiring me to declutter and cut way down. But here is my question: Whyyy am I such a baby that I can't make myself try the snail mucin serum?? Everyone loves it! I still can't make myself get past the ick factor😅
It really feels good! But I'm a science person, so it never icked me. I got the sample pack at Penney's, and the serum was hands down my favorite thing.
Such a lovely interesting video, I love the depth of information, I’m getting into skincare and I want to add more to my routine so the reviews are very helpful, thank you 😊❤
Fun video! Thank you. I love the Tacha Dewy Skin Cream and the LaRoche Posey cleansing oil too. For a toner I use the original Dickenson's witch hazel (i know....I'm a barbarian 😂). Like someone else mentioned, if a product doesn't workout for my face I'll use it on my body.
Ooooh i love that witch hazel! I dont put it ALL over my face but i use it all the time to clean over blemishes, use it in my underarms and also on my behind 😅
I do use a physical exfoliator when I’m using tretinoin (or any similar product). Tretinoin increases cell turnover so it seems like it helps to couple it with a product that brushes away those dead skin cells. My skin looks worse instead of better if I don’t use both. If you do too much manual exfoliation while using tretinoin, you could overprocess your skin (which I have done and it hurts!) Everyone’s skin is a little different, but I can use a manual exfoliating product 1-2 times a week.
Hi Jen so in answer to your Tretinoin and using other forms of exfoliating serums etc, I would taking into consideration your skin type; if that being its dry, oily, combo, sensitive etc will effect the answer. As a general rule of thumb I would say until you have gone through any potential Tretinoin uglies I would avoid BHAs AHAs and PHAs as you may experience symptoms of over exfoliation like more breakouts dryer/flaky skin, redness and stinging. I've been using Tretinoin for 3.5 years now I started on a really low dosage like yourself and word of warning I do feel like these lower percentages whilst its great they there for beginners I do think they can drag the process of retin-isation. I thought I was getting somewhere until I tried the standard dosage of 0.025% which I used for 2 years. about a year ago I increased to 0.05% and I cannot get over how much of a difference its made. The results you are wanting to see will also take much longer tretinoin isn't a race because ofc it's a marathon. I'd also be careful of the Azelaic acid in the formulation they have given you, whilst 5% is very low, its mechanism of action is exfoliation so again you may think wait tretinoin is far too irritating but in fact it might be your skin just needs pure tretinoin for a while before you can incorporate other things in. Building tolerance is key. the unwanted side effects may come as a result if you do use the other products in conjunction. I haven't used AHAs since I started tret but have managed to incorporate 15% azelaic acid everyday, 5% benzoyl peroxide and a sulphur cleanser, Only recently have been able to re-include BHA but only at 1% and even then sometimes it can come out that my barrier is a little impaired I'd suggest at least for the first 3-6 months allow your skin to adapt and see if you like using Tretinoin. I would say if you can get onto the standard prescription strengths then do, if your skin is clog prone avoid the creams as they tend to include Isopropyl myristate. In terms of Vitamin C and Tretinoin, again you may find that due to increased sensitisation from the tret, the vitamin C may tingle, personally I never kept up with a vitamin c but I always found that it was better to use the vitamin c in the morning and another form of anti oxidant at night.
Skincare products usually have a shorter shelf life and it's better to not open another until one single product is used off. Also I bought the Pixi toner once before, and I don't feel like it's a sensitive skin safe product, fortunately I didn't have any problem with it and I finished it. Then I don't repurchase it again.
🤍🤍🤍🤍🤍🤍🤍🤍🤍🤍🤍🤍🤍🤍🤍🤍🤍 me too girl soooooooooooo many samples from Ulta!!! 🤣🤣🤣 I had to organize too … I love toners too!!!!! The new ILIA one is heavenly to me under my Haruharu wonder sunscreen chefs kiss!!!!! RNW Essence is a favorite CosRX 6 peptide booster Numbuzin #5 is my vitamin c in the morning with the serum too
I use a brand called Saturday Skin. I’m pretty sure it’s a K beauty brand. All of their products have a 7 peptide combo. I really like their eye cream and their facial exfoliating product. They use Yuzu lemon in some of their products. I’ve never seen anyone mention this brand. Loved this video! Thanks
I started doungvthd layering of my toner after u suggested it and boy has it made a difference!! I also have dry skin so I needed this suggestion! Lol! 🙌
Jen if you haven’t gotten rid of the Double Serum yet, I used it on my chest because of my sun damage from being a swimmer and it actually worked wonders in that area! I know I’m super late to this party but if you use it on your beck, chest, and even shoulders, it’s beautiful on those areas!
I use Adapalene (similar to Tretinoin, not as strong) and I rarely use actives anymore. Occasionally an AHA or a BHA but not very often. Retinol, Adapalene and Tretinoin all exfoliate the skin.
Oh this was just so fun. Thanks for doing this. I just bought a sample size of the snail mucin today. I also am going to try naturiums vitC & niacinamide. Have you ever tried those? I'm so very grateful you're here !
I loved this!!! Hearing your reviews, since I have dry skin too, helps a lot when I am considering future buys!! I saw several I am very interested in trying when I run out of something. Thanks Jen!!💜
I have a question… not trying to be rude or anything, but why do you have so many products open at once? I have a lot of skincare but I only open one toner, retinol, serum and moisturizer at once. And I open two cleansers at a time to make sure I can double cleanse. I use the products opened up and then I switch to something else. That also helps me with knowing what products I want to repurchase, and lets me see how well then product works.
Mainly because I am testing them to review on my channel. Of course if I wasn't on UA-cam, I would just use up what I have before opening new products. 🥰
It seems like the vitamin C serum has discolored. Shouldn’t it be clear? I use a less expensive one from Geek & Gorgeous made in small batches which stays clear. I love your K beauty toners and will definitely try a few through iHerb.
I always enjoy these videos from you! There is always something new for me to try. Love the LP face cleanser! Going to try a couple of the toners you are so fond of. Thank you for this fantastic review 💕💕.
I have been using Agency for almost 4 years and I was late to the game (I'm 58), but I absolutely think it has helped my skin! I don't use a ton of skin care products otherwise, because you aren't supposed to have to. I do use the Ordinary glycolic acid in the morning after cleanse and before the Dark Spot formula. My next bottle of Future Formula will be .5 of Tret. During the colder months I was experiencing a lot of dryness and I began mixing it with my moisturizer (recommended by Agency) and it helped a lot.
Very helpful video 💯 thnx so much Jen! I love the mini reviews, I take notes of what products might be best for my skin (and my budget)... take care! hugzzz 💜

I’ve been using the CeraVe Hydrating Foaming Oil as my daily cleanser - I actually find I like it even better than the Laroche-Posay.
I was wondering how that one compared! Maybe I'll try that one next!
I do my makeup standing up in my large closet and just spent 3 days organizing and decluttering too. It's very satisfying and makes it so much more enjoyable getting ready for the day and for bed
Yes! It sure does! 🥰❤️
You did a great job of organizing your vanity, Jen. Looks amazing!❤
Go Jen Go! Long ago, I limited myself to just three of each category, to be sorted down to just two. I've been pretty good about it so far, but seasonal changes can eliminate all my resolve. It doesn't matter this time around - No Buy July is truly one of your best ideas! Thanks for the video!
Hi Jen, I use .025% Tret and only exfoliate 1x per week. For people with sensitive skin, they might not want to exfoliate that much.
I recently bought the Haruharu toner, and I absolute love it. I also have their eye cream and like it as well.
Their eye cream is the only eye cream I'll get
Love that you talk about the products! 🙌🏽
I love the way you separate out the items and then go through them
Loved it! Next declutter please 😊
I was searching for a good declutter to watch when I got the notification 😊. Perfect timing.
I have never gone through the "retinization" period! Even when I combine acids with retinoic acid or retinal. Very interesting!
I feel the same way!!
I love it too and a little goes a long way!
I got the big size for my birthday and I don't regret it one second!
@@JenPhelpsme too
I have combo mature skin and I still focus on hydration.
Hi Jen, I enjoyed watching this video, your nails look great, love that peach/nude colour, looks great with your skin tone. Love Katherine xoxo
That’s a great idea! I love this spray and having it at work in the winter sounds amazing.
I bought the Laroche Posay when you talked about it last year. I love it!
Yes! As long as I don’t have an allergic reaction to them, I usually use toners and serums as aftershave lol
I am SO OVERLY EXCITED about this video! Lol I can’t wait to see your collection! Yay!🤩
Oh what a great idea!!
Same! I just use it at kitchen sink or bathroom instead! Same for face creams I don't love.
Skin cycling. That’s what I’ve been doing and my skin loves it. Finally something my skin loves.
@@mistytells someone told me that term a while back, and I was like “I was wayyyyyyyyy ahead of the curve on this one (for once!), because I’ve been doing it for decades!” 😎💃😂
I'm definitely going to try this routine, thanks!!
@@Future-zx9ts you definitely were WAY ahead of everyone else. I wish someone would have shared this secret a long time ago. It’s amazing.
Thank you, Jen! I have been on the fence about a few of these that you’re decluttering. I appreciate your thoughts!!!
I love the Haru Haru toner. So good, have been through several of them.
i love Numbuzin products ! their sunscreen (one with a green tint) is awesome. i love K beauty skincare.
i’m in the market for a firming neck cream. glad you have extra room after the declutter!
Yes, you can use vitamin c with tretinoin as long as your skin accepts it well. I just talked to a dermatologist about it.
I absolutely agree on the LRP cleanser, the Haruharu toner, and the BoJ Dynasty Cream. The rest I found interesting. Thank you for doing this!
This is perfect! I needed this! So far I’m having a successful no-buy July!
@@Future-zx9tsI've been on tret for a year and I've been putting it around & under my eyes for "crows feet" & fine lines. Is that ok do you think?
Jen, moisturizers you can use on your body, even serums, legs, arms, heels
Jen, thank you so much for the skincare video!
Your declutters are the BEST! So soothing to watch and full of mini reviews. Thanks for all you do! ❤
Also curious if you’ve tried the Tatcha Indigo cream or the Pyunkang Yul Intensive repair cream?
I have tried the Indigo cream and love it! Not as much as the Dewy Cream because it's thinner but it's beautiful too.
Hi, where do you buy all the ones you mentioned ?
I've been waiting on this!!!! You've taught this almost 70 year old so much. I feel like I have same skin as you ( just older👵) BUT is your sunscreen after all these morning products? Thank u Jen. I'll be ordering some of these through your links of course. I'm actually about to head to the beach Monday so jumping on some of the moisturizing things b4 I go;)
Aw thank you!! Yes, sunscreen is the very last step before makeup. 🥰
Good job with the decluttering, Jen! I will bet that is a big relief for you...and hubby. I am impressed with all the links you provided for the products. Thanks for all the hard work. Good to know what has worked for you and what hasn't. thanks for sharing.
The Haru Haru Black Rice toner is the best. You gave me some good ideas for some summer moisturizers. Love this video! Thank you.
That haruharu cleanser is my everyday too!! The toner too!!!
Obviously bought on your recommendation!
Whoa you don't double cleanse at night?!! Your skin looks amazing so that really shocks me!!!! Presently testinng the Innbeauty elastic serum and loving! I can't get behind anything D'alba or Naturium though. They just don't work for me.
The La Roche Posay cleanser is really effective! 🥰
Hi! I love skincare!!! Fantastic video, I think the best declutter video I had ever seen! ❤
It's just a tip, I use less adorable toners for neck, décolleté and body.
Great Job! What a beautiful change, so calming!
I'm going to show my husband your 'sink before' so he'll feel better about my mess! LOL Thank you for your service, Jen!🤣
🤣🤣😂😂
That cos rx ceramide spray is also an every day for me, recommended by u! 💜
I’m also using Agency. Dark spot and future formula. I like it a lot
GREAT VIDEO! Thanks you!
You really educated me on this video. I’m looking forward to trying some of the brands ❤
Love the nails!! 💕
I love these longer videos!
I LOVE that Haruharu eye cream. It really helped get rid of the milia under my eyes!
It took me a minute to get past that also. But thankfully it has no scent and it just feels like a jelly moisturizer so I think of it like that. 🥰
It really feels good! But I'm a science person, so it never icked me. I got the sample pack at Penney's, and the serum was hands down my favorite thing.
@@maryeckel9682 Thanks! I may have to be brave and give it a try! I only hear great things about it.
I use hydrating toner and usually K Beauty products. I also shop IHerb! I have had no issues getting my order quickly!
Loved this Video Jen ❤
I do use a physical exfoliator when I’m using tretinoin (or any similar product). Tretinoin increases cell turnover so it seems like it helps to couple it with a product that brushes away those dead skin cells. My skin looks worse instead of better if I don’t use both. If you do too much manual exfoliation while using tretinoin, you could overprocess your skin (which I have done and it hurts!) Everyone’s skin is a little different, but I can use a manual exfoliating product 1-2 times a week.
Hi Jen! Can you do a video on your favorite lip products? My lips are so dry and always on the hunt for a good lipgloss and lipstick. Thanks
The Ole Henrikson lip balms are DA BOMB!
This was so incredibly helpful! I’ve made a list. How do you spell the place you order your K Beauty from?
It's called iHerb. I linked to everything in the pinned comment at the top of the comment section. 🥰
I haven't used AHAs since I started tret but have managed to incorporate 15% azelaic acid everyday, 5% benzoyl peroxide and a sulphur cleanser, Only recently have been able to re-include BHA but only at 1% and even then sometimes it can come out that my barrier is a little impaired
I'd suggest at least for the first 3-6 months allow your skin to adapt and see if you like using Tretinoin.
This is great information thank you so much! 🥰❤️
🤣🤣🤣 I had to organize too …
I love toners too!!!!! The new ILIA one is heavenly to me under my Haruharu wonder sunscreen chefs kiss!!!!! RNW Essence is a favorite CosRX 6 peptide booster Numbuzin #5 is my vitamin c in the morning with the serum too
Use the Vitamin C and brightening serums in the AM when you can’t use the Tretanoin.
Hi Jen can you please tell me where you got the rotating tower? I’ve been looking for one and yours looks sturdy.
Lol! 🙌
I really like the Doll10 exfoliating cleanser.
I use tretinoin + use an exfoliate once in a blue moon, but I now exfoliate w/Shop Miss A’s exfoliating cloth..
Oh this was just so fun. Thanks for doing this. I just bought a sample size of the snail mucin today. I also am going to try naturiums vitC & niacinamide. Have you ever tried those?
I'm so very grateful you're here !
No I haven't tried those yet! 🥰
It was always this color from day 1. It may be the high concentration? Or possibly the other ingredients. 🥰
Hi jen, just wanted to say that this was so informative. I ordered a few of your favorite products to give them a try. Love your channel!
I really enjoyed your video! I love how you take your time to talk about each product. ❤
I love the mini reviews, I take notes of what products might be best for my skin (and my budget)... take care! hugzzz 💜
