You are such a beautiful lady and a joy to listen to. I am 48, and in my opinion, it was easy to look young until about my mid 40s. At that point hormonal shifts can make it more challenging. I have worn sunscreen on my face since I was 15, that was the year Avobenzone came out in the US, and made it possible to get UVA/UVB protection without gloppy, messy zinc all over your face. Times have changed so much for the better in that regard! Now I wear a Korean sunscreen, what a difference lol. Anyway, in my opinion, spf is the most important thing. You can correct most everything else, but correcting UV damage is very difficult as it actually alters the DNA in the cells, damaging their structure. I could go on and on about skincare and why I've made the current choices I have, but the bottom line is that we have to do what works for us, and as you are saying, everything in moderation. Take good care of yourself but enjoy life too, as you seem to be saying 😃 I've spent a ton of time outdoors, living in California with the benefit of good weather and fun things to do. I'm so glad my spf has helped my looks while allowing me to have a fantastic life, and I'm kind of proud to be of the few in my generation to really be devoted to spf and be able to show that it *works* ! My skin is basically devoid of fine lines, no crow's feet etc. Spf does not cure sagging though, and ultimately that is due to collagen loss that you start to see in the 40s and 50s. Keep up your channel beautiful, you are a bright light on YT. And good luck in your move!
California has the best weather 🤍 i would spend many hours outdoor as well if I lived there. Yes luckily times has changed with the SPF on the market, still some are bad but many really good as well. I believe balance is so important, I personally enjoy the sun but of course Miami can be little too much specially in summer season. But yes the collagen loss as we age is just something what will happen no matter what and we must accept it as part of life. Have you tried the Cellula light? I have friend in her late 40s and it works wonders for her. Thank you so much for the kind words 🙏🏻 have beautiful weekend ♥️
@@IvetParris I have not tried that in particular, but I have done the LED face masks in the past with some minor benefits noted. I just looked it up online though, and it looks interesting and maybe promising! As you were discussing, reducing inflammation is the name of the game when it comes to age-related changes of all sorts. Thanks for the info😃❤
@@toeareg100 Beauty of Joesen. I apply it and let it sit for about 5 minutes and at that point it becomes a little tacky/sticky. I then apply my BB cream, it goes on very nicely like that. If I wait a little longer it becomes much more smooth and almost slick. My BB cream goes on smoothly but does not adhere as nicely for me being out in the heat, exercising etc. So it's a rather versatile product, definitely a primer for makeup but also really nice on it's own, I don't feel like I have sunscreen on, the formula is fantastic. Previously I was wearing Tizo2 which is a zinc nano particle, priming sunscreen. It made a nice primer for makeup but I can feel it on my face, and I'm kind of eager to take it off at night, whereas with Beauty of Joesen, I forget it's on at all 🙂
Yes well diet is something people always connect to loosing weight but life style is a choice of living certain way, balanced but not obsessive. Thank you for mentioning it 🙏🏻have lovely weekend 🎈
Dear Iveta, you are so smart!!! I am hoping everybody looks this important video! You can explain so well, simply perfect! Enjoy your last days in Miami to the fullest !! Have a special weekend 🥰🥰🥰😎🌞🌞🌞🍸
I prefer is clinical vitamin c serum to skin ceuticals, it oxidizes much slower, doesn’t make my face orange during the day, is not sticky, doesn’t cause me breakouts.
Omg it made your skin orange? What? Wow that never happened to me, I wonder why is that. I had the opposite with IS Clinical brought some pimples and has been tingling on my skin which sometimes was kind of more like burning. I guess we are lucky to have so many options so we all can find the one working for us. 🙏🏻 but is IS clinical doesn’t oxidize almost at all. I had mine for ever and nothing which was great. I think it’s great brand.
@@IvetParris is Clinical has 2 ascorbic acid serums. I like Super Advanced + and don't like Pro Heal serum. We may talk about different serums:) Tingling is normal, ascorbic acid requires acidic pH level to be effective. I am pale and Skin Ceuticals vitamin C (I tried all their versions) oxidizes on me after 2-3 hours (formula is not stable enough) to the point of me turning orange-brown and people asking me if I was tanning :) I guess that this may be what people with darker skin tones call "a glow". I even tried using little samples so that serum is always super fresh, still makes me orange :) P.S. Love your videos, you look great! ❤
Hi Iveta as usually loved your video! So much we have in common. Although i am older than you😂 yes after 48 its becoming harder. I think i am aging well, although i also never used sunscreen until 30. But my raw vegan healthy lifestyle, and alternating cold showers, althletic training all my life, since i was baby, helping to combat aging. My body still looks like i am in 30’s ,now i do see some changes in my face. I still have high cheek bones, but under eyes i do want some fulness. And jawline i would like to get more snatched 🤪😂 honestly, even i look much younger, i am having a hard time, not looking like i was looking till 36-40. I was looking really young then, so i do take care of my skin BR , i think i probably would be able to do better, but stress thats really the worst enemy to aging! And for the last decade i incurred a lot of stress, due to my husband sudden paralysis , and life and death situations. Anyways i am looking also to get red lights. I was looking at Celluma , but its so expensive. And i am not sure if thats really worth or its just paying for the name🤔I found another company , platinum therapy lights, that i am looking at .they have like panels of different lights., so it can be used also for inflammation, for pain., for whole body. I cant believe that you are leaving paradise, land of freedom😜 but i dont blame you. America is not going to be, a pretty place to live for awhile😳 we knew that longtime ago, we were planning too, to have a base in Europe, or South America, but with hubby’s health issue, its more complicated. Have a safe trip 🙏🧡
Cold showers, omg that is something I have to start, specially now moving to Europe because it will help me to adjust plus it’s sooo good. Celluma is incredibly expensive and that is the reason I don’t have it yet, it does work greatly 😩😏 I mean, aging is part of life, it’s not something we love to see on our faces but I personally think you should do what makes you happy and if you decide to have someone adjust some things, make sure they are listening to what you really want, less is definitely more, specially around eye area. Stress is incredibly bad but honestly what you are going through is in such other level of stress. What you are doing for your husband is showing how beautiful person you are on inside and out. Love of this kind is very rare this days and I am sure he appreciates it ♥️♥️♥️
I'm a few years older than you and I started looking after my skin late too! No one in England or Europe was thinking about sun tan lotion back in the day 😂 Water and food are essential, I totally agree with you. I've found the Allies of Skin Molecular Silk Amino Hydrating Cleanser is amazing; it is truly moisturising and my dry skin loves it. I've just started some skin supplements from Artah as well which I think are having a positive impact too (although it's a bit too early to say for sure).
The original but it has phenol which is not safe during pregnancy or breastfeeding. But they make the original without the phenol as well so that is good but I like the phenol for myself 🙏🏻 mask Vivant and mask vernix for winter time ✔️
Yes you may use retinol, I would start with low level and maybe only 1once per week and then you adjust it. Skip it over the summer months and SPF in winter is a must 🙏🏻
Ivet, I so happy for you. As much as I enjoy living right outside Miami. I understand the relationship with Miami is complicated. So many good things and so many let’s say mixed things. I feel this next chapter will be an excellent one for you 🤍 Also I own Celluma nothing else compares it’s worth the investment however, you must wear excellent eye protection.
Omg you are right. It’s definitely a relationship with Miami, it has so many ups and downs lol I love it here and at the same time I am like OMG why it’s so annoying 😂😂😂 I am excited to move but I know I will miss it here. You must enjoy it for both of us 🙏🏻🥰🍾

Hey Iveta. Thanks for the video and your advice. Could you tell me the name of the brand of your necklace please. It’s beautiful.

Hey Iveta, did you ever use Grand Millesime cream or serum from BR?
Yes I did ☺️ both and I love them both, maybe the serum a bit more. 🤓
Thank you very much!!!!!!!!!🥰
🥰🙏🏻
Maelove is a good vitamin c serum and is very reasonably priced, IMO a complete dupe for skinceuticals
Omg and I must check them out 🙏🏻 thank you 😊

Do you like Medik 8 cosmetic ?
