Puffy eyes, dry skin, crow's feet, forehead is a field of wrinkles...and I've used quality skin care since my early 30's when I literally sold skin care to plastic surgeon and dermatology offices. When I was in my 30’s and 40’s, I always used moisturizer on my face and neck. I was using regular old hand/body lotion! I had no idea I should’ve been using something different!🙈 Thanks to UA-cam and Angie’s videos, monthly facials/dermaplaning, and Retin A, my 58 year old skin looks amazing! I started learning more about skincare 5 years ago. Wish I started sooner! I also made sure I take my makeup off EVERY NIGHT! Something else I didn’t do in my 30’ and 40’s! Now I know better.

Thank you so much for making such great, researched content! I’m an esthetician and will be turning 40 next year. I had pretty good skin before I switched to products you recommended and WOW! Have a seen a difference!! People think I’m still in my 20’s and I now have the best skin I’ve ever had. I was terrible to my skin in my teens and twenties (sun baker and fake n’ baked) and I definitely had early age spots and wrinkles. The addition of the Timeless vitamin C and Retinol was a total game changer. I felt like a chump when I realized I could have great skin without breaking the bank after decades of shelling out coin on essentially what was expensive fragrance water. The only product that I have added to this routine is bifida 70%. I photocopied your routine (less the house that do not do business with Puerto Rico) to the "t" over a year ago.. it is pristine. Thank you. BTW ...YOUR BRUSHES ARE INTACT and I use them daily and clean them weekly (sometimes twice a week). I turned 60 on September 10.

Angie was inspirational 10 years ago (I think) for the immense improvement of my 42 yrs old skin. My adult acne cleared up using her daily routines (Cerave was front and center at the time). Now, in menopause at 52, I have watched MANY over 50 influencers and I find myself still drawn to adopt Angie's routines. Solid advice and very trusted, though I have to add that there are SO many other products now days that she tries and it makes my head spin with choices. I saw a dermatologist talking about the nuface she said not to stop at side of the neck but try to take it as far to the back of the neck as you can so it doesn’t stop right there on the side. I’ve been doing this for a while and think it’s definitely helping

I am working my way through my sunscreens because they take up too much room in my bathroom. Might try the R&R next, though concerned with pilling, which I had with the Maelove, a similar formula. Not as fussy with body sunscreens but fussy about the face ones.
I started Retin-A 11 years ago when it wasn’t quite as “trendy” and I had the worst first year. Then 10 or so years ago I found your video and it actually really helped me figure out why my skin was freaking out. I pretty much stuck to it because of your videos 😊
Why was your skin freaking out? I microretuba back when I was younger and lived it, but that was for acne. Now in my 50s I recently started, but can't handle the peeling no matter what methods I use.
I had to use it for acne when I was forty , thirty years ago. Red and dry. Now there is a micro gel at a higher concentration. Nano packaging is costly. However your doctor can fax the prescription to Canada and one ounce costs $200. Pricey. It is the gold standard and in the USA they want $800. For a thirty year old product?

You're a true success story! Magazines, experts and dermatologists always tell you it's never too late to start taking care of your skin, and I'm not saying 50 is *late* but I'm confident you're able to improve the quality of your skin at any age. As long as you give up tanning. /51 year old baby
100% true that it’s never too late. I started my routine after age 70 and have definitely seen improvements. My friend constantly says, “Don’t you ever get wrinkles!?” While I started with very good skin even at my advanced age, I definitely have improved the wrinkles and a couple age spots. Go, skin care! YES.
I wish I had started much younger and wish I hadn't roasted my skin in the sun for 40 years first but the difference I've been able to achieve over the last 10 years really blows my mind!!
Angie I cannot believe how great you look, instead of 10 years older than 50 you look 10 years younger than 50. So glad I found you. My issue was my neck, and using the OmniLux plus Retrinal has made a sea change there. My face definitely looks better. I use OmniLux, NuFace and most of the same things: Vit. C, Lactic and Co Q10. I almost never change my routine now since my skin seems happy. At night after Tretinoin and Retrinal I have been using the La Roche Posay Toleriane Dermallergo Creme, which has made my skin so happy. Never waking up with crusty skin again! RevitaLash and on my brows at night, I use Rapid Brow, really because I love the spoolie in that serum.
My serum routine is very similar to yours! I absolutely adore the Pacifica Ceramide lotion as my morning moisturizer. It’s lighter than the cream so it’s perfect on my oily acne-prone 40 year old skin.
I am so grateful to your chanel and all the information you give - clear, consise , honest and within my tiny-tiny budget! I started to pay closer attention and take care of my face 3 months ago. I turned 50 this year. I am doing what I can but regularly, especially the sun protection . The diference is visible! My skin reflects light, even without product on it! I have a lot of hope for the future of my face. My skincare time is my self-love time and my gratitude time. Thank you Angie for your example and service. I’ve said this before, but I’m so thankful I found your channel over the Covid shut down! I’m using this exact same routine- I’m 52 & my skin is aging in reverse now- it is smoother, softer, plumper, has diminished fine lines & age spots. I only Botox the 11’s & just added the Nira laser device about 2 months ago & can see a great reduction in fine lines around my mouth. With this routine, I feel like my skin now easily looks better than when I was 40 because it is just healthier and more vibrant. I will actually leave the house wearing only sunscreen & mascara and feel 💯 confident. 😊

Yes I agree! So many beauty, makeup, skincare influencers are moving away from their original skin/makeup content, and doing vlogs of their daily lives, then they're complaining of their lack of views. Well, most people who came to UA-cam for beauty content still want the beauty content. And I agree with you, Angie's skincare routine completely changed my skin too!

You can see how much fresher your skin looks from the beginning of the post to the end of your regime and all the products have been applied....I think we definitely do have to do at least some skin care as we get older, once menopause has happened and our body is not making all the hormones and enzymes etc that it used to, we have to apply them in creams and lotions. 👍👍
Hi Angie, thank you for your great advice! I have watched nearly all of your videos, using some of the recommended products and am seeing some good results on my 65 year old face. A word about Botox: be very careful around the hairline. I suffered from horrible migraines for a few years and used Botox as a last resort administered by a neurologist. I had thick full hair before. After two years of quarterly injections I have a terribly receded hairline and a lot of hair loss over my ears. My hair was my pride and joy. I can’t tell you how horrible I felt when I realized it was the Botox. Hair loss is something they do not list as a side effect, but Google it…hair loss is common.
I’m 46 and I’m a huge fan of skincare products! I started using anti wrinkle creams in my 20s. SPF and sunscreens don’t work on my skin. I use everything but I’m a huge fan of the Ordinary, Neutrogena and now I’m using L’Oréal derm intense cleansing gel. I use sheet masks, aha bha chemical peels, a cleansing facial brush instead of my hands and facial tools.

I have use led and microcurrents for years. However, my most effective device is the tria age-defining at-home laser device no one ever seems to be talking about. It can be slightly painful (comparable to microneedling pain) but it gives the BEST results.
I started using The Ordinary Lactic Acid, and their salicylic acid every morning and evening, a couple months ago...and I'm not kidding, I have been getting compliments on my skin every other day. Also, some people have told me I look different, but they just can't figure out why lol. One guy I know asked me if I was losing weight or something because he said I looked different but he just couldn't figure out why 😄 It's my SKIN that looks so much better! I use them in addition to my Tretinoin. My skin is baby smooth, and my pores are so much less visible! I highly recommend the Lactic Acid. It takes time, but the results are definitely there

I’ve used Roc for about thirty years, the formula has changed over the years, but I can’t see myself changing moisturizers, I wouldn’t mind adding to my routine.
Are you referring to the Clarasonic? If so, that company went out of business about 2 years ago. There are a few companies that make dupes or similar devices.
I SEE YOU BEAUTIFUL....SIXTY headliner and it NEVER looked younger! 💗 Looking younger at 60 than you did at 50, TOTAL SCORE! Yes, long time follower, Angie groupie, a real Hot and Flashy junkie so I can attest this routine WORKS. The main thing is consistency and S U N S C R E E N. If you fail at that protection you lose the ground you make with product. So slather up and stay consistent! *Also consider back sleeping. Angie has content on back sleeping so you don't scrunch up that face 6 to 8 hours...again avoid subtracting from the smoothing you do with these products.
Thank you for sharing. I'm 35 and several months ago I finally started wearing mineral sunscreen consistently. I really don't have much money, but even if I can start with one of the less costly options you've talked about I'll feel more proactive about anti-aging.

Watch her evening routine video she tells you she puts tretinoin around her eyes but then her next step serum she rubs on her eyelids which transfers the tret to her eyelids as well but so it doesn't irritate them
I use several of these products that you mentioned from watching your past videos. There's one thing I forget to do and that's to apply products to the back of my hands. Oh boy! And do they need help!!! My hands don't look 72. They look 85!! All of my adult life my hands have looked older than my face! Thank you for the reminder, Angie!
Great comment. I started doing Angie's recommendation for backs of hands, and, importantly, using sun protection gloves when I drive ( I live in SoCal). I already have a lot of spots, but they have faded significantly, and no new ones. My derm was impressed with my hands, as she sees a LOT of old hands in her practice. I am 75, and doing as much as I can. Angie's videos were the first ones I started watching 3 years ago. I learned from her videos that it all takes time, so I am trying to be patient!

I can't thank you enough for changing my skin. The Timeless Vitamin C with ferulic acid is an absolute game changer. And I wouldn't be without The Ordinary Lactic acid nor the Timeless Coq-10 serum. Sunscreen daily, no matter what the weather. I'm now trialing The Ordinary's Argireline around my crows feet. Unfortunately, I'm allergic to hydroquinone. I keep going back to the Elta MD tinted sunscreen, which was the 1st sunscreen that I remember you recommended. I'm so grateful to you, Angie. I trust you 100% with your skincare advice. I have to admit I have never my entire life had a morning skincare routine. I wake up and slap on some thick moisturizer because I have dry skin then throw on sunscreen before I leave the house. Maybe this is why I look so old lol. I just don't have the patience for all this but it's working for you so maybe I'll start small. And I definitely haven't been using enough sunscreen!

We need to send the message that we don’t need to cut or inject to be worthy or beautiful. I have told you my background before ( a Holistic Master Esthetician of almost 40 years). I own three Holistic Skin Care salons. I teach my clients to not change their regimen but to simply add a mask of Vaseline ( Vaseline brand has a triple purification process and it is very clean) castor oil is also amazing. Like eating well all year long, you want to take care of your skin and feed it the same all year long. We all have normal skin and it is what we do to it daily and weekly and monthly that changes it. @@lisataras4291 Lisa this is not Angie. I have my clients Apply Vaseline last in a light layer either overnight or you can do it during the day. Vaseline is an occlusive and it will lock in moisture. Vaseline brand always helps my clients in the winter months. You don’t have to change your skin care. But I respect Angie very much🍑🙌🏻🧡Lisa

Puffy eyes, dry skin, crow's feet, forehead is a field of wrinkles...and I've used quality skin care since my early 30's when I literally sold skin care to plastic surgeon and dermatology offices. When I was in my 30’s and 40’s, I always used moisturizer on my face and neck. I was using regular old hand/body lotion! I had no idea I should’ve been using something different!🙈 Thanks to UA-cam and Angie’s videos, monthly facials/dermaplaning, and Retin A, my 58 year old skin looks amazing! I started learning more about skincare 5 years ago. Wish I started sooner! I also made sure I take my makeup off EVERY NIGHT! Something else I didn’t do in my 30’ and 40’s! Now I know better.

Have a seen a difference!! People think I’m still in my 20’s and I now have the best skin I’ve ever had. The only product that I have added to this routine is bifida 70%. I photocopied your routine (less the house that do not do business with Puerto Rico) to the "t" over a year ago.. it is pristine. Thank you. BTW ...YOUR BRUSHES ARE INTACT and I use them daily and clean them weekly (sometimes twice a week). I turned 60 on September 10.

Angie was inspirational 10 years ago (I think) for the immense improvement of my 42 yrs old skin. My adult acne cleared up using her daily routines (Cerave was front and center at the time). I saw a dermatologist talking about the nuface she said not to stop at side of the neck but try to take it as far to the back of the neck as you can so it doesn’t stop right there on the side. I’ve been doing this for a while and think it’s definitely helping

I am working my way through my sunscreens because they take up too much room in my bathroom. Might try the R&R next, though concerned with pilling, which I had with the Maelove, a similar formula. Not as fussy with body sunscreens but fussy about the face ones.
I started Retin-A 11 years ago when it wasn’t quite as “trendy” and I had the worst first year. Then 10 or so years ago I found your video and it actually really helped me figure out why my skin was freaking out. I pretty much stuck to it because of your videos 😊

Why was your skin freaking out? I microretuba back when I was younger and lived it, but that was for acne. Now in my 50s I recently started, but can't handle the peeling no matter what methods I use.

I had to use it for acne when I was forty , thirty years ago. Red and dry.
Now there is a micro gel at a higher concentration. Nano packaging is costly. However your doctor can fax the prescription to Canada and one ounce costs $200. Pricey. It is the gold standard and in the USA they want $800. For a thirty year old product?

100% true that it’s never too late. I started my routine after age 70 and have definitely seen improvements. My friend constantly says, “Don’t you ever get wrinkles!?” While I started with very good skin even at my advanced age, I definitely have improved the wrinkles and a couple age spots. Go, skin care! YES.
I wish I had started much younger and wish I hadn't roasted my skin in the sun for 40 years first but the difference I've been able to achieve over the last 10 years really blows my mind!!
Angie I cannot believe how great you look, instead of 10 years older than 50 you look 10 years younger than 50. So glad I found you. My issue was my neck, and using the OmniLux plus Retrinal has made a sea change there. My face definitely looks better. I use OmniLux, NuFace and most of the same things: Vit. C, Lactic and Co Q10. I almost never change my routine now since my skin seems happy. At night after Tretinoin and Retrinal I have been using the La Roche Posay Toleriane Dermallergo Creme, which has made my skin so happy. Never waking up with crusty skin again! RevitaLash and on my brows at night, I use Rapid Brow, really because I love the spoolie in that serum.
My serum routine is very similar to yours! I absolutely adore the Pacifica Ceramide lotion as my morning moisturizer. It’s lighter than the cream so it’s perfect on my oily acne-prone 40 year old skin.

I’ve said this before, but I’m so thankful I found your channel over the Covid shut down! I’m using this exact same routine- I’m 52 & my skin is aging in reverse now- it is smoother, softer, plumper, has diminished fine lines & age spots. I only Botox the 11’s & just added the Nira laser device about 2 months ago & can see a great reduction in fine lines around my mouth.
With this routine, I feel like my skin now easily looks better than when I was 40 because it is just healthier and more vibrant. I will actually leave the house wearing only sunscreen & mascara and feel 💯 confident. 😊

You can see how much fresher your skin looks from the beginning of the post to the end of your regime and all the products have been applied....I think we definitely do have to do at least some skin care as we get older, once menopause has happened and our body is not making all the hormones and enzymes etc that it used to, we have to apply them in creams and lotions. 👍👍
Hi Angie, thank you for your great advice! I have watched nearly all of your videos, using some of the recommended products and am seeing some good results on my 65 year old face. A word about Botox: be very careful around the hairline. I suffered from horrible migraines for a few years and used Botox as a last resort administered by a neurologist. I had thick full hair before. After two years of quarterly injections I have a terribly receded hairline and a lot of hair loss over my ears. My hair was my pride and joy. I can’t tell you how horrible I felt when I realized it was the Botox. Hair loss is something they do not list as a side effect, but Google it…hair loss is common.
I’m 46 and I’m a huge fan of skincare products! I started using anti wrinkle creams in my 20s. SPF and sunscreens don’t work on my skin. I use everything but I’m a huge fan of the Ordinary, Neutrogena and now I’m using L’Oréal derm intense cleansing gel. I use sheet masks, aha bha chemical peels, a cleansing facial brush instead of my hands and facial tools.

How long do you wait between applying your products?
I have use led and microcurrents for years. However, my most effective device is the tria age-defining at-home laser device no one ever seems to be talking about. It can be slightly painful (comparable to microneedling pain) but it gives the BEST results.
I started using The Ordinary Lactic Acid, and their salicylic acid every morning and evening, a couple months ago...and I'm not kidding, I have been getting compliments on my skin every other day. Also, some people have told me I look different, but they just can't figure out why lol. One guy I know asked me if I was losing weight or something because he said I looked different but he just couldn't figure out why 😄 It's my SKIN that looks so much better! I use them in addition to my Tretinoin. My skin is baby smooth, and my pores are so much less visible! I highly recommend the Lactic Acid. It takes time, but the results are definitely there

I’ve used Roc for about thirty years, the formula has changed over the years, but I can’t see myself changing moisturizers, I wouldn’t mind adding to my routine.

Are you referring to the Clarasonic? If so, that company went out of business about 2 years ago. There are a few companies that make dupes or similar devices.

Yes, long time follower, Angie groupie, a real Hot and Flashy junkie so I can attest this routine WORKS. The main thing is consistency and S U N S C R E E N. If you fail at that protection you lose the ground you make with product. So slather up and stay consistent!
*Also consider back sleeping. Angie has content on back sleeping so you don't scrunch up that face 6 to 8 hours...again avoid subtracting from the smoothing you do with these products.

She’s doesn’t use tret on her lids. Nuface and she has videos on makeup for hiding hooded lids.

Watch her evening routine video she tells you she puts tretinoin around her eyes but then her next step serum she rubs on her eyelids which transfers the tret to her eyelids as well but so it doesn't irritate them
I use several of these products that you mentioned from watching your past videos. There's one thing I forget to do and that's to apply products to the back of my hands. Oh boy! And do they need help!!! My hands don't look 72. They look 85!! All of my adult life my hands have looked older than my face! Thank you for the reminder, Angie!
Great comment. I started doing Angie's recommendation for backs of hands, and, importantly, using sun protection gloves when I drive ( I live in SoCal). I already have a lot of spots, but they have faded significantly, and no new ones. My derm was impressed with my hands, as she sees a LOT of old hands in her practice. I am 75, and doing as much as I can. Angie's videos were the first ones I started watching 3 years ago. I learned from her videos that it all takes time, so I am trying to be patient!

I can't thank you enough for changing my skin. The Timeless Vitamin C with ferulic acid is an absolute game changer. And I wouldn't be without The Ordinary Lactic acid nor the Timeless Coq-10 serum. Sunscreen daily, no matter what the weather.

I have to admit I have never my entire life had a morning skincare routine. I wake up and slap on some thick moisturizer because I have dry skin then throw on sunscreen before I leave the house. I love that you show women we can improve ourselves as we age and to never give up wanting to be your best. We need to send the message that we don’t need to cut or inject to be worthy or beautiful.
I have told you my background before ( a Holistic Master Esthetician of almost 40 years). I own three Holistic Skin Care salons. I teach my clients to not change their regimen but to simply add a mask of Vaseline ( Vaseline brand has a triple purification process and it is very clean) castor oil is also amazing. Like eating well all year long, you want to take care of your skin and feed it the same all year long.

Angie, I was reading this and I'm curious. Do you mean to apply vaseline after all the other products are on?
@@lisataras4291 Lisa this is not Angie. I have my clients Apply Vaseline last in a light layer either overnight or you can do it during the day. Vaseline is an occlusive and it will lock in moisture. Vaseline brand always helps my clients in the winter months. You don’t have to change your skin care. But I respect Angie very much🍑🙌🏻🧡Lisa
