I've always wanted to try the original Xenoblade for a while after enjoying Xenoblade 2 (even though I'm only halfway through the game) now the only pain is waiting for what's going to feel like forever for the game to come out

@DueMagician921 actually nintendo gave monolith full creative control and stuff. They fund their projects
@DueMagician921 You make it sound like Nintendo controls them when that isn't how they do things. Monolith has several teams that do different things...and they are PAID, it isn't slave labor XD

The only thing nintendo tells them is required is they have to be nintendo exclusive. Also regarding the assistance in development:

Can we all appreciate how good the voice acting at 1:19 is? You can tell that Shulk is feeling a mixture concern and anger and it’s incredible

Comparing this game to Xenoblade Chronicles 2, I disagree with the people who say that the character designs in the remake look like something out of a generic modern anime, the character designs here look way better than Xenoblade Chronicles 2, even better than 1 with the higher resolutions. If people prefer the gritty Final Fantasy 12-esque look, that's fine, but the designs here actually look decent.
I have never heard of anyone say that the XC2 models look better than the remake models. I have only heard the opposite. If anything, the XC2 models are the ones that look generic, but to be fair bad character design is not a weird thing for XC2.
@@jerryborjon Actually tbe Xenoblade 2 models do look better, not in terms of design, but in quality. If you go back and compare Shulk's model in Xenoblade 2, you'll notice his model there has way more polygons and much better textures, you can see the stiches on his sweater!
its fine to like XC1 aesthetics better, I do but XC2 objectively DOES have better quality models.
Idk they look about the same given they're using an identical artstyle
Oneish - You can’t possibly be talking about the ORIGINAL XC1, right? Of course XC2 has better quality models than the original first game, but XC1DE has objectively better models with design, and is at least equal in terms of quality.

Xenoblade has one of the best casts in games
I put over 260 hours into XC2 completing every optional quest and maxing out every available blade. It was the only thing i played for about 6 months straight. I can't wait to do the same with XC1.

@@bluebeard0089 I'm hoping the AI are a bit more competent overall, more like XB2. I almost always found that, in the original, the AI tank would have a very hard time sustaining agro, therefore i ended up playing as Dunban most of the game... Not complaining tho, he was awesome😄

You don’t really need to have played Xenoblade 1 to play Xenoblade 2, there are no mentions of the events of previous entries with the exception of a few references. Even the battle system isn’t entirely the same.
Haru Chan you don’t need to, but I’d still recommend it. some stuff hits a lot harder with knowledge of the original
It isn't a sequel, it's a completely different storyline. No Bionis, Mechonis, Monado, etc.
