Rocky was one of the most underrated guitarists ever and the bass player plays for metallica
He played in Infectious Grooves
The singer’s older brother was actually a member of the Z Boys Zephyr skateboard team that the movie Lords of Dogtown was about and his older brother started the Dogtown skateboard brand after Zephyr went out of business to continue the skateboard scene in Dogtown aka Venice Beach California
The guitarist"Rocky" played for Fishbone for a minute. Rocky is a bad ass!
Rocky definitely needs MORE recognition.
@@jasonmartin7137 Rocky along with Steve Vai was of the firsts to throw down on a 7 string guitar
ST was awesome, not about anything but what they where, no specific genre, specific audience, we (metal, punk, skater) loved them. ST can never die!!!!
Bro Suicidal are STILL awesome and they haven't lost ANY of their energy!
@@MicBain81 your right, I shouldn't have written was. I still go back to listen to them often.
@billwheeler1213 all good, just wasn't sure if you knew!
Tell 'em what's up, Rocky!!!!
One of the greatest bands ever. They brought all the kids together, punk rockers, skaters, metsl heads, hardcore kids, gang bangers, mexicans, white, black...everyone unified at shows for love of heavy music. Onenof the most charismatic, cool, intelligent vocalists, and Rocky George ahould benin all metal guitarist lists!!!! S.T.!!!
Suicidal!!! Hell yeah! Let’s go! Talk about a throwback. This ALWAYS gets me goin’. Whole album is just 🔥🔥🔥🔥. Sooo glad you did this. Shout out Bobby for requesting such awesome music ✌🏻😊
I grew up in SoCal, I'm 55 now, but ST will always be my favorite band. Thanks for the shoutout. ❤❤🍺🍺🍺🤘🤘🤘🤘🤔
@@Blindeyedog I’m 52 now, but they have always been a “go to” band. So many good songs. Take care. ✌🏻😊
I like the remastered version better. The mix is better quality and the guitar is perfected and the bass is upgraded with Robert Trujillo. Still Psycho after all these years record, remastered version is better all around, just my opinion
The singer from SUICIDAL TENDENCIES did a side project called INFECTIOUS GROOVES in the mid 90's i think, definitely worth checking out.
Heck Yeah! "You Lie and Yo Breath Stank", OMG! ROFLMAO!
@@theidajawhoI love Infectious Grooves: "Violent and Funky." ❤❤❤
With the bassist of ST. He's now with a small band
@@SonOfBaraki359 LOL, yeah...but sssshhhtt, don't tell anyone 🤫
Therapyyyyyyy😅
No way, this song is a MASTERPIECE.
It is great
Most brutal pit I ever was in, and I've been in plenty. Was a weird mixture of gang bangers, skinheads, headbangers, and a few punks.
I’ve loved this song and video since it came out in my early childhood because my older sister and the album and they played the music video on Headbangers Ball on MTV all the time
Back when they actually played music videos on MTV 😂
Suicidal Tendencies were actually banned by a lot of clubs in LA for awhile because their shows got so wild and they had some gang connections
banned from playing in L.A. for five years!
They are from Venice Beach, California, because they were gang affiliated, they were banned in LA for a while. But they got me through hard times. ❤❤❤
❤️❤️❤️😨😳😳😱wowww….
@@Okayrick Yeah, so they did secret shows under different names in LA. Another band worth checking out is Infectious Grooves, basically the same band. Look at "Violent and Funky." Fun song. ❤❤❤
ST is one of the greatest, and most underrated bands of all time.
100!!!!!!!!
The current bass player for Metallica was in the singer’s side project Infectious Grooves who was in the movie Encino Man with Pauly Shore and Sean Astin
Thank you.....finally someone doing Suicidal. Suicidal for Life one of my fave albums to this day. Everyone talks about great lyricists, and everyone forgets Mike Muir....prolly cause' they weren't exactly popular on radio. Mike was a dangerous man on the mic and otherwise. Don't Give a F^kk, No F^kkin Problem, No Bullsh^t, F^kked Up Just Right.....whole album is fire asf if you feel violent and need a healthy release. Rocky George a sadly forgotten goat on that guitar, and Robert{Metallica's bassist}was savage on the thing.
I saw them twice when Trujillo and Rocky were still with them. A great lineup. Trujillo is sick on "Infectious Grooves" Tunes as well.
Rocky George on lead guitar and Mike Clark on rhythm guitar were the sh*t!!🔥🔥🔥
So glad you found this. I promise you will rock with this for another 40 years. Like I already have. lol
Facts! I'm 56 still listen to ST. #ST4Life
ST actually was banned in L.A. for continued gang violence at their shows. In response they made this video with heavy gang imagery, and imagery of police oppression.
Institutionalized has a verse about asking his mom for a PEPSI, it's hilarious and near perfect.
Just one Pepsi!!!!
@@patricksmith3376 IKR, 😆
@@patricksmith3376 and she wouldn't give it to me!
This was a anthem for us as kids head bangers crusty punks
@@dansofia9184 IKR 😈 🤘
This is my psych-up jam for maximum boost in the mornings; I've got the lyrics printed out & stuck on the wall.
One of the best songs from one of the best metal albums ever
indeed man. one of the greats!
Incredible start to finish. ST at their fierce prime
Mike Clark has one of the fastest rt hands in rhythm guitar.
They came out of Dogtown aka Venice Beach when it was a poor and working class neighborhood, before the gentrification
Robert and Rocky are from Culver City. Not sure about Mike Clark or RJ Herrera.
If this song doesn't pump a person up, they might wanna check their pulse. Awesome song by an awesome band. Rocky George guitar solo on this song is amazing 🎸
This was most definitely my go to music when we were out skating half pipe and street skating. Their energy is off the hook. It’s to bad Mike Muir the lead singer passed away. If you want to check another of theirs, check out “How Will I Laugh Tomorrow” or “I Saw Your Mommy”
Glad to see you expanding your genre of reaction music. 🎯🎯
Uhhhhhh Mike Muir is still alive and well dude
Mike is still with us. Think they are doing the summer fest tours this year. Not positive, but thought I saw ST on some bills. ❤
He's still alive and going to the max
@@universalmind1940 you are correct, not sure who the hell I was thinking of.
Mike hasn't passed.
The last verse of this song is lyrical genius for those who have just had enough. Maybe if some people weren't so full of s*** I wouldn't feel like s***.... Many many apologies and one more thing
My favorite band of all time. ❤❤❤
My favorite as well. The most underrated band of all time in my opinion. Muir is a song writer like no other.
It's uplifting. Positive. Best band of all time!!!
Same! Every single song they've ever done is at least good, most of them are incredible.
Impossible to feel down about life after hearing this song. ST for life!
Join the army!
That was the exact correct reaction. Love it.
The song is so well composed, great for when you need to get pumped up!
Suicidal was my first concert with GBH at the old Sportatorium in Dallas. Almost got crushed when the barracade came down. If the bouncers hadnt held it up i would have been crushed.
It was an awesome show.
Love Rocky! Tell 'em what's up, Rocky! 🤘😑🤘
INSTITUTIONALIZED i think is their biggest commercial hit, on REPO MAN soundtrack
It’s also in the first Iron Man movie
I love this dude. Rock on brother.
My boys perpetusl smile says it all..." you go to jail listenin this shit..." S.T. FOREVER👊
Welcome to the S.T. Army bro. great video
Awesome Reaction! Bobby? Keep it coming! Peace!
Listening to a lot of punk and metal as a kid at this time one of the things that struck me was that only in those genres would I see/hear people of any other ethnicity on a regular basis. Most of the other music whether it was hair metal or even grunge, with the exception of hip hop of course, it was a bunch of white guys. In bands like ST, Sepultura, Living Colour, etc I would see and hear not only people different from me, but probably more importantly, the differences in their struggles and the strength to overcome them. Suicidal Tendencies were always a great band to go to when life is running you down and feeling apart from others.
Rocky George!!!🎸
I use to Skateboard to this back in the 1980' on a half pipe
hell yea u know good music subbed
We going for 90K. I'm happy for you brother. Your pops would be proud. RIP. I'm still bummed over all that. 😢😢😢
My skater music from back in the day!
Awesome reaction 😊
Rocky, Louiche, and Rj are back together in Lucidal guys that's awesome
S.T. ARMY MEMBER Since the 80s hear. I look forward to watching you react to other S.T. Tunes I just subscribed to your channel PEACE!
ST was and still is awesome. Rocky George. One of the most underrated guitarists, criminally so. Robert Trujillo on bass(with Metallica since '03). They have MANY good songs, enjoy the rabbit hole. Might I suggest "Gotta Kill Captain Stupid" or "Institutionalized" ? 🤘🤘🤘
They got banned for a few years in LA because they had gang connections because they came out of Dogtown (Venice Beach) same neighborhood as the Z Boys skateboard team, the singer’s older brother was a member and went on to start Dogtown Skateboards
That song is an anthem you can't bring me down love suicidal tendencies
I loved this music back when it first came out.
Check out "Institionalized" by ST. "All I wanted was a Pepsi!" It's a legendary song.
One of my fave songs of all time
I love this album!!! The best line of a song ever- you wouldn’t know what crazy was if Charles Manson was eating fruit loops on your front porch! This entire album is amazingly good! I also recommend how will I laugh tomorrow
Now that bassist is in the biggest group of all time…
A little each day. Hear it. One of their best. Just make sure it's remastered version
best lyric "you wouldnt know crazy if charles manson was on your front porch eating fruit loops"
hey (mutha fucka witha leather face hey - bones thugs and harmony) yo. i say i say yo
5:59 - He's in Fishbone now!
when i was a kid, i heard this intro for the first time,...was like i've seen angels
You should do Alone by suicidal tendencies as well.
Bobby did it
Thanks. I'm from SoCal, this is my favorite band. ❤❤❤
Suicidal broke my punk rock/thrash cherry
Old school skate thrash!
I was listening to st in high school my older brother introduced me to the yes I used a walk man and I got in trouble for listening to st in class detention hours of worth it listened to st Motorhead Metallica Megadeth in detention anyway lol
If you need a list of Suicidal Tendencies songs....let me know.
How will I laugh
Go'N Breakdown
Emotion Number 13
Pledge Your Allegiance
Alone
Nobody Hears, War Inside My Head, The Feeling's Back
Bobby sounds like my dude! Give how will i laugh tomorrow when i cant even smile today.
That suicidal song will make you think
As long as You're hearts beating....
This is the punk rock gangsta 💩
🤘🏼ST! OG So Cal punk. V13 🤘🏼
Love your music videos thank you. Have you reacted to dance with my father again by Luther Vandross it's a lovely song. Looking forward to more reactions.
Get with it
What the hell's goin" on around here????!! ;)
For a thrash band, they have the most amazing and melodic breakdowns!
Bro i met this guy at my job he gave me some great advice and now i see him listening to some crossover thrash is insane
Pab !! Love you my brother ❤️💪You looked out for your boy at Lowe’s . I’m uploading my product review video on my “OkayLife” channel rn it has like 30k subs on that electric lawn mower I bought from your store ! Pretty cool ! Keep grinding my brother 🙏💛💜
ROCKY GEORGE!!!!!!
Yes, S.T. is top tier ❗
rocky the guitarist is black btw
Check institutionalize the Body Count version that's Ice Ts Metal Band.
Can't go wrong with ST
the cops can not bring US down!!
You bring yourself down
Stupid comment
ST!
Grew up with this
I think this is the classic version from years ago bringing diversity together without the woke crowd. Look at the band members..look at the folks along the fence in the video. It's all of us who love music. No one said at the time that when this video came out you have to be diverse. Any way I'm 64 and going to drink a Pepsi
Just one Pepsi
Ok boomer
welcome to the hesher mindset. you can't bring me down. only i can do that.
Right?
It's time to dig into the fn trench and get a little cyco yeah, cause you gotta be crazy to believe in yourself.
As a Suicidal Apprecianado (I made that word up). Who can ?
Old ST was the shit
They were even cooler in the 80s
Wish people would request the uncensored version, the beeps totally ruin the flow of this great song
My bad, I forgot to request "unedited" Sorry, I was drinking. 😂😂
@@Blindeyedog I do that all the time🤣🤣🤣
ok now do anthrax time lol
4:21 Broke rule #1 of music reactions: Don't *EVER* for any reason, pause during a solo
*THUMBS DOWN NEVER SUB*
Don't let the name fool you. These guys are christ-centered. The lights camera revolution album was one of the top five complete albums ever released. Education is empowerment. Rhythm is rhythm.
Awesome! It's great seeing Brothers getting into Celtic style musics! Matter of fact, the brother that plays the bass on this album, goes by the name of, Thundercat. He is by far one of the best and most influential musicians in the metal genre. Master musicians one and all. Love your enthusiasm. Peace.
Checkout some faith no more if you haven't already
