I’m grateful for the bad things that happened to me. I always strived to be a “good & nice” person and bad things always happened to me...blessings too but a lot of discomfort. I made a lot foolish mistakes. I realized I was not a “good & nice” person through CHRIST. When I truly gave my life to Christ and was born again and REALLY read what the Bible says for myself boy did I learn, but it was through prayer and spending time with God that he revealed so much TRUTH of why certain things happened...it all brought me to Christ. Praise God!
Rivka Amen. Jesus told us that we should not be surprised when we experience trials and tribulations. If he suffered, how do we think we will escape the same? It all works to bring us closer to him and bring light to the world. Keep up your faith Rivka! You are made perfect through Christ and it sounds like you truly understand that.
Man the suffering hurts but knowing that I accept Jesus Christ as my savior and choosing to put my best foot forward every day with God through these hard times is making my relationship with him so glorious. I know that I’m not the only one suffering but sometimes you wish it would end but my faith is getting stronger every day so I hope that God heals me and get my life back in order.
Yes but think about it though what if you were born in the Middle East where wars are going on? A place where there’s famines? Or in Libya where your a slave? What if you were brown without a arm or a leg or got cancer? The pain and suffering part, I understand. The evil is what I struggle with. As a believer, I understand that God has allowed man free will and unfortunately, other people’s choices affect us at times. For example, if you are walking down the street and someone robs and kills you then that persons actions affect you by your life being taken. That I get, but here’s the part that’s hard to understand. There are many stories about God intervening on someone’s behalf to save them from certain destruction, i.e., Columbine. However, within the same tragedy God allowed another person to die or suffer massive injury. I hear many stories about God intervening to save a woman from being raped but then another believer who loves and serves him just as much, is violated and I can’t understand why. At the end of the day, I have come to terms that Gods ways are higher than ours and his plans sometimes are unknown. We never know what ripple effect certain tragedies will have on other people not directly involved in the incident. Certain people might come to the Lord that otherwise might not have. Speaking from experience as the son of a murdered parent, I think it is likely that I might never have accepted the Lord had this event and others, never happened. So, while I may not understand it, I accept that God is sovereign, just, and works all things to the good of those that love and obey him.
@Diana In La La World then why did God allow you to write that if he’s so evil? Also, plenty of the victims of the things you mentioned became whole only through the power of a loving God. You are free to not believe in and denigrate God, but not free to enlist every single person who suffered horrendously to make you feel good about doing so. And not free to simply write off so many innumerable souls as “scared” because they have a faith in something greater than the world of humans, which takes courage and strength.
I can relate. My father was shot when I was 19, 12 days before Christmas, on the night of his 41st birthday. Also the morning they found him, was my great aunt's funeral same day... Makes it hard around the holidays. I wonder, have you forgave the person(s) responsible for taking the life of your parent? And if so , how.

I do struggle with how it seems like people who are so hopelessly steeped in the ways of the world seem (and I say "seem'" in quotes because it's just my observation; it may not be really true) to be deriving the most 'fruits' of the world and experiencing things like success, glory, joy, etc. and people who are genuinely suffering and trying to be good and better people will suffer with addiction, loss, pain, and even death. I am really trying to see where God is in all of this. Thanks for this video.

God doesn't leave anyone behind but there is the line that man crosses with his sins that he can't go back anymore, it means he turned his back from God and that is the biggest sin, God tries to communicate to him through people, dreams and yet he still denies to follow him. Through it all, I still have seen the hand of God in my life, reconciling me to Himself. I was living in bad sin, wanting wrong things... if you're honest, we will look at OUR part in it wanting the lusts of this world. God has been teaching me this whole time how to stand up to and against sin. How to stand for righteousness, how to persevere, how to NOT let people abuse, betray, belittle, or shame me (and so much more). In the end, I would rather live in faith in my God. HE has worked all the crap together for a good result...HE HAS!!! IS IT HARD WORK? YES!!!... So was dying on a cross for my sins! God could've stopped that, too. But for whatever reason, Jesus had to die that i might live in eternity. Once You FEEL the sorrow from God at how those people treated you... Once you've FELT His love swell in your heart, and once you FEEL the Holy Spirit Jesus left for us, teaching you how to live, act, speak into this world... Once you FEEL circumstances blessing your heart and life... You GET to know Him. The power of the resurrection. The fellowship in Jesus' suffering.... Nothing will separate me from the love I have for God in Christ Jesus. I will persevere with courage, not shrink in doubt, and despair and depression. I will go forward and look forward to heaven, trying to NOT look to the right or left at the sin that would so willingly trap me and ultimately cause me to live a life filled with meaningless s**t that will decieve me right into the pit of hell. God has saved me. I will proceed in Him. I am not ashamed. I'm also not ashamed of the hardship I've been through. God has used my suffering to bless others. Im ok with that, even though it grieves me to the core. I love my triune God in Jesus, Amen
Always wanted to know. I'm a good person. I leave others alone when I know I should. But yet I get hurt always. Always being tested. The thing is. I treat others good.
I feel your pain, sometimes I question if I should even follow my morals and principles anymore, what the point in being good when the world is always testing you for no good reason. It’s gotten to the point where I have to ask god to have a slightly better day. On the outside I smile and laugh when I’m being bullied but on the inside I’m in shambles, I think about hurting people all of the time because that’s the only thing that makes me fee better anymore. What should I do.
I feel like it is also for us to prove our obedience to Him to undo the original sin disobedience. And since it is difficult, it would be a faster path to get closer to Him.
K Coutinho Amen!!! That's how I feel when people think and tell me I'm different. I think, people who say we are different is because, our obedience makes their disobedience stand out. By getting rid of impurities helps our growth instead of stunting it.

Bad things happen to Good people because Satan Hates God and he wants to hurt God by hurting his people, but Romans 8:28 says that all things work together for Good. Now God can take every bad thing that happens to us and turn them around and make Good come from it, this way Satan is always Defeated. The Bible says that every Good and perfect Gift comes Down from the Father of Lights. God gives and does Good to His people but Satan comes to steal kill and destroy. But Christ comes to bring us life. God gets a bad rap for what the Devil does. But God is a everpresent help in our times of need. We need to call upon him no matter what is Happening and praise God this way Satan cannot steal our Joy. And we Glorify God in our sufferings, and God wins and we are Delivered or God takes us Home to be with Him. Life is a Battle win the War ! Worship Jesus as Lord!😇
It seems like you’re saying that the devil comes to steal kill and destroy which I agree completely. However, say the devil comes to steal and to kill me and I call upon the father as a righteous man seeking his protection as the Lord’s prayer indicates, deliver us from the evil one. But I still get beheaded at camp. I see before dying that my two young children are being brutally beheaded and yet I’m supposed to Believe that God will make this good? Please help me understand what good comes from a life of servitude as a missionary in Afghanistan and then die a horrible death and also see my two children die the same way? Why did God not protect at least the 8 and 10 year old boys? This is a true incident I’m talking about?
So why do we ask for daily bread and for protection and deliverance from evil if God ain’t gonna defend us or provide for us? Why do we thank Him for providence when it’s not a sign of approval from Him. Would I have gotten it without asking? We ask and then we receive. Elijah David Moses and Joshua asked and then they received. Also say if there is a righteous man being tortured and he calls out and on account of his righteousness, God’s presence is felt. Will God still let bad things happen to him while He is present? If God isn’t defending us then why call upon Him in times of difficulty? Just endure the suffering as it’s a testing period right? Why pray for people? Tell them that God is testing you! Why ask for healing? As it’s a mystery anyways? Some heal and some don’t! God is testing them too to see which side of eternity they end up in. If there isn’t a definite answer why do we pray? had we not prayed for healing would it have happened anyways? I’m searching for answers as a Christian. My intention is to be clear and not to complicate a simple question. Most ppl just say there is no answer or like Ravi Zach just complicate and digress from the core question.

Correction he will not go to heaven straight away. Baptism cannot save you. Salvation comes through confession and remission of sins and accepting the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ. Then judgement day God will reward us .
He's talking in circles. So, based off what he saying, God rewards those who are evil and allows suffering to those who are good hearted. Makes sense as to why the world is in the state it's in now.

That’s how this always works, I’ve recently lost my god fearing, amazing mother out of nowhere and every Christian has an empty answer. I see horrible rapists and killers let off and walking the streets and yet good people suffer and die.. where is god then?
Who are we to understand Gods ways. I think of this world as a spiritual battlefield. This world is messed up. We did that. And he still loves ‘all’ of us. This is a place where we suffer and are tested, and called to bring others to God to get out of this world and to him.
This life is boot camp. It’s tough, and we go through pain and challenges that sometimes don’t make sense to us. But God gives us difficulties to become strong, problems to become wise, dangers to grow courage, and family and friends to love. And much like Boot Camp, our heavenly father is worried about us just as our worldly parents would be. Not everyone of us will make it through Boot Camp, but those of us who do will become the glorious spiritual warriors we were always meant to become. And like Boot Camp, this life is short and temporary. The grand life we will live and grow through eternity‘s is the joyful destinations God always intended for us. And the Bible tells us that all suffering and all pain will be taken away from us. We would never guaranteed a life free from problems. But most times when you are suffering there is hope and we become better people.😎

That is because we live in a world that glorifies evil. 2 Corinthians 4:4 "In whom the god of this world hath blinded the minds of them which believe not, lest the light of the glorious gospel of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine unto them." In this world, people are rewarded for the bad things that they do. It is because these people worship the things that are wrong. Isaiah 5:20 "Woe unto them that call evil good, and good evil; that put darkness for light, and light for darkness; that put bitter for sweet, and sweet for bitter!" But we must remember that our life on earth is extremely short compared to eternity. Even though many people who don't know God are getting prosperous, they will end up completely naked when they stand before God. Life on earth is not about how much you have, but it is about having a close relationship with God :) Whether a happy life or miserable life, it doesn’t change anything about God. There are many bible scriptures that have pointed out about the happiness and the pleasures of this world. They are temporary. Let me give you 3 scriptures that describes about temporary pleasures. Job 21:12-15 “ They sing to the music of timbrel and lyre;they make merry to the sound of the pipe. They spend their years in prosperity and go down to the grave in peace. Yet they say to God, ‘Leave us alone! We have no desire to know your ways! Who is the Almighty, that we should serve him? What would we gain by praying to him?” Luke 12:19-21 “And I’ll say to myself, “You have plenty of grain laid up for many years. Take life easy; eat, drink and be merry.”’ “But God said to him, ‘You fool! This very night your life will be demanded from you. Then who will get what you have prepared for yourself?’ “This is how it will be with whoever stores up things for themselves but is not rich toward God.” 1 Peter 1:24 For,“All people are like grass,and all their glory is like the flowers of the field; the grass withers and the flowers fall,”. It’s true that people who don’t have a relationship with God do prosper but it won’t long. People may believe that they are happy without God but their lives could end at any moment and they will stand before God when he judges them according to their works. Revelation 20:12 “And I saw the dead, great and small, standing before the throne, and books were opened. Another book was opened, which is the book of life. The dead were judged according to what they had done as recorded in the books.” In order to be TRULY RICH, is to come to Jesus Christ :) Jesus said "Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God." John 3:3 Those who are born again will not only have eternal life, but have the holy spirit as well. If I can read more that's great but I just start with the goal of reading two. Little by little friend. Soon you may find yourself wanting to read more and more. Also listening to praise and worship music can help.

Im confused...a little girl we know died of cancer at a very young age. So was this all just a test to see if we would make it an opportunity to glorify His name? Doesnt that sound selfish?
I would not simplify it so much like that. The world is broken because of sin, so the first one to blame for cancer is Adam and Eve (sin). We don't know God's full plan but if we are faithful God does bring good. John 11 might be good to read. I have a friend who lost her son to cancer, but she continues to glorify God through it all
All I can say is am a very good hearted person brought up in church and my life is feels cursed and feels hopeless in the past 15yrs of constant bad luck..and I believe in the Almighty Creater..my life is in misery and depression and thinking of committing suicide. When i pray situations go wrong. I don't understand. Trying to change my life but no hope.

The legal system is not always the answer. Especially for this woman I suspect. I've had business partners that screwed me big time. The lawyers that consulted me told me I had a clear cut case of winning the law suit, but it would take 10000 down for retainer and that would only last about 3 months. They also told me that the defending attorney would drag it out for the maximum allowable time of 2 years at which time I would have spent (which I didn't have raising my only daughter by myself with zero savings that was tied up in the business.) 250000 bucks. Then,,,,, after I won,,,, where is the money to collect? It would all be hidden and or spent. During that time, the business folded without me there because I was the reason it worked to begin with. But still I had no money to throw at it just to get nothing back. So I had 250 bucks in my bank account and went after the client base, but it only barely made the bills. Mostly late and late fees which made it worse. I feel mostly bad for my daughter whom I told that all the hours I missed spending with her were for a good reason and that I could help her in her future with the money I would make. I lost those years with my daughter AND the money that I should have gotten. There is no justice here. My thoughts of revenge haunted my for years. Every time I saw an orange chevy avalanche driving down the road it just brought it all up again. Day after day,,,, there were so many of them. I prayed and pleaded for help. No one could help me. I am crushed, burned out, and ruined for every day I stay alive because of this happening more than once. I have no zest for life anymore. I just exist on a daily basis. I drink 2 or 3 times a week to numb myself because I can forget about it and be happy for a few hours. I feel bad for those around me because they want me to do more things with them and all I want is to be left alone. Yet there are times they can drag me out and see the me I used to be. Fun loving, full of life and zest. As I write this a single tear falls down my right cheek. And now both. Dang it!!!!!!! They fall not only for me, but for my daughter that was so patient with me. And now I am a liar because I could not keep my promise. Be careful what you promise others of yourself. In business and in family and in ALL relationships. Richard Dennis is the worst offender of me and my daughter. He knew I was raising her by myself and that I was sacrificing all my time with her for our future. Mine is not an original story. It happens all the time and will continue to happen because the law can't help us and we as victims cannot retaliate without doing jail time. That was 12 years ago besides one not so bad since then. I won't go into that one though. I fear I'll never heal from that. Even though I try not to let it get to me... I guess I am weak. Too weak to get on my feat again after so many attempts of working hard and smart. I am a fool and that's all there is to that. No matter how you look at it. I don't know if there's a moral to this story even for me. Sorry if you were hoping for that. Maybe it has yet to be seen? I'm not counting on it. Now at 53 I have no way that I know of to have a retirement. I'll see you at walmart and greet you kindly because that's who I am. I guess that's the moral? So if someone kills your child in front of you. You’d say that God is allowing that to happen because He wants you to get closer to Him and Lean on Him? I’m a sinful human being and father of two. I can’t even imagine letting my daughter undergo pain and suffering to make her lean on me even if she disobeyed from the beginning. I’m a Christian and I can’t imagine that God can be so devious. I feel that somewhere along the way we stopped searching for answers and just settled for whatever makes us fit in or comforts us.

But will you say God is making you lean on Him and become like Him when he allows someone to brutally and slowly behead both your 8 & 10 year olds in front of you before putting a bullet in your head? This after you followed His commandment to go to the parts of Afghanistan that no one wants to go to and preaching the good news. Why did not God defend this missionary and his two little boys? A lot of this is baloney. It's second guessing. I know of a family that lives by me. They are judgemental about people that are poor and look down on them. They are also extremely racist among other things. They talk down to others and simply have a bad attitude. These people use to be very nice people but they have changed. They now act like they are better than everyone else. They never have anything bad ever happen to them. No sickness, no financial problems, no hardships of any kind ever! And I think God has allowed them so much "good" in their lives that they take it for granted and treat others terrible. These people NEVER have a stroke of bad luck! Yet they seem to thrive in many ways. I suffer with problems every single day! I never look down or judge people. I will help anyone that I can. I worship the Lord and pray. But my prayers are seldom answered. This family is Christian as far as I know but is it right that they are perfectly blessed? Something isn't adding up here. Im sure there are others like this out there but I just don't get it. It really makes me question a lot of things. I know there isn't always an answer to things, but this guy doesn't even get close to an explanation so why is he just blabbering out nonsense? Sorry but he isn't even close to a sensible explanation. He's not answering the question.😢

It could be that you are giving an opportunity to the devil and that these dreams are demonic...or it could be that you aren't guarding your heart and these dreams are manifesting what might be underlying.

People always think about that I'm mean, weird and they hate me.. no one wants to sit with me in my clasroom (I'm still in school). But older people apreciates me and think I'm very kind. I'm almost 14 and everyone say that ''girls maturisize faster'' that is not true for me...I have still a child's mind and I like that I am this way. I just don't understand HOW girls at this age like someone, put fake nails, always on their phone..but the thing that changed me was 1. God And 2. A thing that I like really much but people hate (I am afraid to say it)
That's not true I am a good person everyone I know in my life worship god and they are always doing bad things , steal beg, drug out and scamming lying, cheating,always using people.I really don't want to worship God no more, cause I really believe we are really praying and asking to forgive he's sins.I live right and I can't seem to find people like me that live right and the people I'm always around believe God but they are always doing bad things and I can't take it no more . We could become bitter and hateful towards others, pitying ourselves, maybe even turning against God. Or we can turn to him and pray for his love, strength, healing powers. So through suffering, we have the chance to get even closer to God. But we have to choose to do this, because love is choice. God is giving us that choice through pain and suffering.

Also, as Christians, shouldn't we be thinking more about the next life, where we will spend eternity being one with God? If they're suffering and still praying to God everyday, seems to me these people already know this. Through their suffering which causes them to pray more, doesn't that bring them closer to Him?
Too bad God didn't create women just like the old days when most women were definitely real ladies and very old fashioned back then, which made love very easy to find at that time since most women were real normal compared to the very horrible ones that are everywhere today unfortunately. Hi guys. QUESTION: The way this guy speaks, is kind of not fluent, he sounds like me when Im talking or trying to get my point across. People think Im a little slow or dumb. How can I not sound unintelligent, and how can I speak more fluently? I do too pause a little after each word. People would roll their eyes when I start to speak, and I would sound just like this person. And I dont do it on purpose, I just dont know what Im doing or not doing.
It has to do with the rhythm of speech, which will naturally vary from person to person. I think Mark is very articulate and expresses his thoughts and ideas in a clear way, so I can't see where the issue is. Just talk the way you talk and ignore those who feel the need to judge you. All of this is well and good. However the problem is that these rationalizations and explanations do absolutely nothing to come for the parents of a child who's been tortured and murdered at the hands of an evil disgusting human being. It does nothing to comfort the mother who's had to bury all of her children. Etc etc. I think that it's really important that Christians are very careful in the way that they answer the question of why do horrible things happen to good people. And people who have experienced tragedy in horrific loss in their life aren't looking for an answer to that question anyway. They want to know why God let such disgustingly horrible things happen to such innocent people. That's far different than people wondering why their business failed or why they have an illness excetera those things pale in comparison to certain Horrors that people can experience in this life. To this day I've never heard an adequate answer to this question from any Christian. I really feel like Christians should stop trying to answer this question. Also I really need to point out that most Evangelical Christians these days believe that bad things happening in your life is a direct result of sin. They also believe that if you fall out of favor with God or your disobedient to God then you lose the privilege to be under the umbrella of his authority and protection. Those are very common teachings in Christianity Today which directly contradict everything that you're saying. So which way is it? It seems to differ based on the question that the Christian is answering.
One thing about bad things happen to good people because good people support bad family members and let bad person run the family especially in India so good people should be independent and bad person of your family will always stop you to being independent I say for both men and women
hi Mark, I agree with what you said in this video. Everytime I was in a difficult situation, I experienced God's presence even more and He always helped me in every situation no matter how impossible it seemed. The bigger the problem was, the greater the miracle that I experienced which then strengthen my faith from time to time. I have gone through many seemingly impossible situations so now I can share to my friends of how great God is. And now I can handle difficult situations without feeling worried knowing that God is always there with me.
I used the concept of turn the other cheek - Big mistake - when you turn the other cheek evil rubs there hands together. This is stupid and dangerous - Turning the other cheek ruined my life. I believe he allows a certain level and window of time for suffering. But then there's that suffering that never ends. It's too strong, too much and neverending. God has nothing to do with the latter. God will allow some suffering but it's the suffering that drives a soul to death spiritually. A person to off themselves. That is not of God. I’m grateful for the bad things that happened to me. I always strived to be a “good & nice” person and bad things always happened to me...blessings too but a lot of discomfort. I made a lot foolish mistakes. I realized I was not a “good & nice” person through CHRIST. When I truly gave my life to Christ and was born again and REALLY read what the Bible says for myself boy did I learn, but it was through prayer and spending time with God that he revealed so much TRUTH of why certain things happened...it all brought me to Christ. Praise God!

Man the suffering hurts but knowing that I accept Jesus Christ as my savior and choosing to put my best foot forward every day with God through these hard times is making my relationship with him so glorious. The pain and suffering part, I understand. The evil is what I struggle with. As a believer, I understand that God has allowed man free will and unfortunately, other people’s choices affect us at times. For example, if you are walking down the street and someone robs and kills you then that persons actions affect you by your life being taken. That I get, but here’s the part that’s hard to understand.
There are many stories about God intervening on someone’s behalf to save them from certain destruction, i.e., Columbine. However, within the same tragedy God allowed another person to die or suffer massive injury. I hear many stories about God intervening to save a woman from being raped but then another believer who loves and serves him just as much, is violated and I can’t understand why.
At the end of the day, I have come to terms that Gods ways are higher than ours and his plans sometimes are unknown. We never know what ripple effect certain tragedies will have on other people not directly involved in the incident. Certain people might come to the Lord that otherwise might not have. Speaking from experience as the son of a murdered parent, I think it is likely that I might never have accepted the Lord had this event and others, never happened. So, while I may not understand it, I accept that God is sovereign, just, and works all things to the good of those that love and obey him.
@Diana In La La World then why did God allow you to write that if he’s so evil? Also, plenty of the victims of the things you mentioned became whole only through the power of a loving God. You are free to not believe in and denigrate God, but not free to enlist every single person who suffered horrendously to make you feel good about doing so. And not free to simply write off so many innumerable souls as “scared” because they have a faith in something greater than the world of humans, which takes courage and strength.
I can relate. My father was shot when I was 19, 12 days before Christmas, on the night of his 41st birthday. Also the morning they found him, was my great aunt's funeral same day... Makes it hard around the holidays. I wonder, have you forgave the person(s) responsible for taking the life of your parent? And if so , how.

I do struggle with how it seems like people who are so hopelessly steeped in the ways of the world seem (and I say "seem'" in quotes because it's just my observation; it may not be really true) to be deriving the most 'fruits' of the world and experiencing things like success, glory, joy, etc. and people who are genuinely suffering and trying to be good and better people will suffer with addiction, loss, pain, and even death. I am really trying to see where God is in all of this. Thanks for this video.

I was living in bad sin, wanting wrong things... if you're honest, we will look at OUR part in it wanting the lusts of this world. How to stand for righteousness, how to persevere, how to NOT let people abuse, betray, belittle, or shame me (and so much more). In the end, I would rather live in faith in my God. So was dying on a cross for my sins! God could've stopped that, too. But for whatever reason, Jesus had to die that i might live in eternity. Once You FEEL the sorrow from God at how those people treated you...
Once you've FELT His love swell in your heart, and once you FEEL the Holy Spirit Jesus left for us, teaching you how to live, act, speak into this world... Once you FEEL circumstances blessing your heart and life... You GET to know Him. The power of the resurrection. The fellowship in Jesus' suffering.... Nothing will separate me from the love I have for God in Christ Jesus. I will persevere with courage, not shrink in doubt, and despair and depression. I will go forward and look forward to heaven, trying to NOT look to the right or left at the sin that would so willingly trap me and ultimately cause me to live a life filled with meaningless s**t that will decieve me right into the pit of hell.
God has saved me. I will proceed in Him. I am not ashamed.

I feel your pain, sometimes I question if I should even follow my morals and principles anymore, what the point in being good when the world is always testing you for no good reason. It’s gotten to the point where I have to ask god to have a slightly better day. On the outside I smile and laugh when I’m being bullied but on the inside I’m in shambles, I think about hurting people all of the time because that’s the only thing that makes me fee better anymore. Now God can take every bad thing that happens to us and turn them around and make Good come from it, this way Satan is always Defeated. The Bible says that every Good and perfect Gift comes Down from the Father of Lights. God gives and does Good to His people but Satan comes to steal kill and destroy. But Christ comes to bring us life. God gets a bad rap for what the Devil does. But God is a everpresent help in our times of need. We need to call upon him no matter what is Happening and praise God this way Satan cannot steal our Joy. It seems like you’re saying that the devil comes to steal kill and destroy which I agree completely. However, say the devil comes to steal and to kill me and I call upon the father as a righteous man seeking his protection as the Lord’s prayer indicates, deliver us from the evil one. But I still get beheaded at camp. I see before dying that my two young children are being brutally beheaded and yet I’m supposed to Believe that God will make this good? Please help me understand what good comes from a life of servitude as a missionary in Afghanistan and then die a horrible death and also see my two children die the same way? Why did God not protect at least the 8 and 10 year old boys? This is a true incident I’m talking about?

Why does god allow satan to exist
Bad things happens to bad people as well...someitmes even more. Bad things happen to good and bad.
So why do we ask for daily bread and for protection and deliverance from evil if God ain’t gonna defend us or provide for us? Why do we thank Him for providence when it’s not a sign of approval from Him. Would I have gotten it without asking?
We ask and then we receive. Elijah David Moses and Joshua asked and then they received.
Also say if there is a righteous man being tortured and he calls out and on account of his righteousness, God’s presence is felt. Will God still let bad things happen to him while He is present? If God isn’t defending us then why call upon Him in times of difficulty? Just endure the suffering as it’s a testing period right?
Why pray for people? Tell them that God is testing you!
Why ask for healing? As it’s a mystery anyways? Some heal and some don’t! God is testing them too to see which side of eternity they end up in.
If there isn’t a definite answer why do we pray? had we not prayed for healing would it have happened anyways?
I’m searching for answers as a Christian. My intention is to be clear and not to complicate a simple question. Most ppl just say there is no answer or like Ravi Zach just complicate and digress from the core question.

Correction he will not go to heaven straight away. Baptism cannot save you. Salvation comes through confession and remission of sins and accepting the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ. Then judgement day God will reward us .

That’s how this always works, I’ve recently lost my god fearing, amazing mother out of nowhere and every Christian has an empty answer. I see horrible rapists and killers let off and walking the streets and yet good people suffer and die.. where is god then?
Who are we to understand Gods ways. I think of this world as a spiritual battlefield. This world is messed up. We did that. And he still loves ‘all’ of us. This is a place where we suffer and are tested, and called to bring others to God to get out of this world and to him.

Not everyone of us will make it through Boot Camp, but those of us who do will become the glorious spiritual warriors we were always meant to become. And like Boot Camp, this life is short and temporary. The grand life we will live and grow through eternity‘s is the joyful destinations God always intended for us. And the Bible tells us that all suffering and all pain will be taken away from us. We would never guaranteed a life free from problems. That is because we live in a world that glorifies evil. 2 Corinthians 4:4 "In whom the god of this world hath blinded the minds of them which believe not, lest the light of the glorious gospel of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine unto them." In this world, people are rewarded for the bad things that they do. It is because these people worship the things that are wrong. Isaiah 5:20 "Woe unto them that call evil good, and good evil; that put darkness for light, and light for darkness; that put bitter for sweet, and sweet for bitter!" But we must remember that our life on earth is extremely short compared to eternity. Even though many people who don't know God are getting prosperous, they will end up completely naked when they stand before God. Life on earth is not about how much you have, but it is about having a close relationship with God :) Whether a happy life or miserable life, it doesn’t change anything about God. There are many bible scriptures that have pointed out about the happiness and the pleasures of this world. They are temporary. Let me give you 3 scriptures that describes about temporary pleasures. Job 21:12-15 “ They sing to the music of timbrel and lyre;they make merry to the sound of the pipe. They spend their years in prosperity and go down to the grave in peace. Yet they say to God, ‘Leave us alone! We have no desire to know your ways! Who is the Almighty, that we should serve him? What would we gain by praying to him?” Luke 12:19-21 “And I’ll say to myself, “You have plenty of grain laid up for many years. Take life easy; eat, drink and be merry.”’ “But God said to him, ‘You fool! This very night your life will be demanded from you. I would not simplify it so much like that. The world is broken because of sin, so the first one to blame for cancer is Adam and Eve (sin). We don't know God's full plan but if we are faithful God does bring good. John 11 might be good to read. I have a friend who lost her son to cancer, but she continues to glorify God through it all

The legal system is not always the answer. Especially for this woman I suspect. I've had business partners that screwed me big time. The lawyers that consulted me told me I had a clear cut case of winning the law suit, but it would take 10000 down for retainer and that would only last about 3 months. They also told me that the defending attorney would drag it out for the maximum allowable time of 2 years at which time I would have spent (which I didn't have raising my only daughter by myself with zero savings that was tied up in the business.) 250000 bucks. Then,,,,, after I won,,,, where is the money to collect? It would all be hidden and or spent. During that time, the business folded without me there because I was the reason it worked to begin with. But still I had no money to throw at it just to get nothing back. So I had 250 bucks in my bank account and went after the client base, but it only barely made the bills. Mostly late and late fees which made it worse. I feel mostly bad for my daughter whom I told that all the hours I missed spending with her were for a good reason and that I could help her in her future with the money I would make. I lost those years with my daughter AND the money that I should have gotten. There is no justice here. My thoughts of revenge haunted my for years. Every time I saw an orange chevy avalanche driving down the road it just brought it all up again. Day after day,,,, there were so many of them. I prayed and pleaded for help. No one could help me. I am crushed, burned out, and ruined for every day I stay alive because of this happening more than once. I have no zest for life anymore. I just exist on a daily basis. I drink 2 or 3 times a week to numb myself because I can forget about it and be happy for a few hours. I feel bad for those around me because they want me to do more things with them and all I want is to be left alone. Yet there are times they can drag me out and see the me I used to be. Fun loving, full of life and zest. As I write this a single tear falls down my right cheek. And now both. Dang it!!!!!!! They fall not only for me, but for my daughter that was so patient with me. And now I am a liar because I could not keep my promise.
Be careful what you promise others of yourself. In business and in family and in ALL relationships. Richard Dennis is the worst offender of me and my daughter. He knew I was raising her by myself and that I was sacrificing all my time with her for our future.
Mine is not an original story. It happens all the time and will continue to happen because the law can't help us and we as victims cannot retaliate without doing jail time. That was 12 years ago besides one not so bad since then. I won't go into that one though. I fear I'll never heal from that. Even though I try not to let it get to me... I guess I am weak. Too weak to get on my feat again after so many attempts of working hard and smart. I am a fool and that's all there is to that. No matter how you look at it.

Now at 53 I have no way that I know of to have a retirement. I'll see you at walmart and greet you kindly because that's who I am. I guess that's the moral? You can take everything from me, but I'll still be who I am. Just a little less happy doing it.

So if someone kills your child in front of you. You’d say that God is allowing that to happen because He wants you to get closer to Him and Lean on Him? I’m a sinful human being and father of two. I can’t even imagine letting my daughter undergo pain and suffering to make her lean on me even if she disobeyed from the beginning. I’m a Christian and I can’t imagine that God can be so devious. A lot of this is baloney. It's second guessing. I know of a family that lives by me. They are judgemental about people that are poor and look down on them. They are also extremely racist among other things. They talk down to others and simply have a bad attitude. These people use to be very nice people but they have changed. They now act like they are better than everyone else. They never have anything bad ever happen to them. No sickness, no financial problems, no hardships of any kind ever! And I think God has allowed them so much "good" in their lives that they take it for granted and treat others terrible. These people NEVER have a stroke of bad luck! Yet they seem to thrive in many ways. I suffer with problems every single day! I never look down or judge people. I will help anyone that I can. I worship the Lord and pray. But my prayers are seldom answered. This family is Christian as far as I know but is it right that they are perfectly blessed? Something isn't adding up here. Im sure there are others like this out there but I just don't get it. It really makes me question a lot of things. I know there isn't always an answer to things, but this guy doesn't even get close to an explanation so why is he just blabbering out nonsense? We could become bitter and hateful towards others, pitying ourselves, maybe even turning against God. Or we can turn to him and pray for his love, strength, healing powers. So through suffering, we have the chance to get even closer to God.
But we have to choose to do this, because love is choice. God is giving us that choice through pain and suffering.

Also, as Christians, shouldn't we be thinking more about the next life, where we will spend eternity being one with God? If they're suffering and still praying to God everyday, seems to me these people already know this. Through their suffering which causes them to pray more, doesn't that bring them closer to Him?

Hi guys. QUESTION: The way this guy speaks, is kind of not fluent, he sounds like me when Im talking or trying to get my point across. People think Im a little slow or dumb. How can I not sound unintelligent, and how can I speak more fluently? I do too pause a little after each word. People would roll their eyes when I start to speak, and I would sound just like this person. And I dont do it on purpose, I just dont know what Im doing or not doing.
It has to do with the rhythm of speech, which will naturally vary from person to person. I think Mark is very articulate and expresses his thoughts and ideas in a clear way, so I can't see where the issue is. Just talk the way you talk and ignore those who feel the need to judge you. All of this is well and good. However the problem is that these rationalizations and explanations do absolutely nothing to come for the parents of a child who's been tortured and murdered at the hands of an evil disgusting human being. It does nothing to comfort the mother who's had to bury all of her children. Etc etc. I think that it's really important that Christians are very careful in the way that they answer the question of why do horrible things happen to good people. And people who have experienced tragedy in horrific loss in their life aren't looking for an answer to that question anyway. They want to know why God let such disgustingly horrible things happen to such innocent people. That's far different than people wondering why their business failed or why they have an illness excetera those things pale in comparison to certain Horrors that people can experience in this life. To this day I've never heard an adequate answer to this question from any Christian. I really feel like Christians should stop trying to answer this question. Also I really need to point out that most Evangelical Christians these days believe that bad things happening in your life is a direct result of sin. They also believe that if you fall out of favor with God or your disobedient to God then you lose the privilege to be under the umbrella of his authority and protection. Those are very common teachings in Christianity Today which directly contradict everything that you're saying. So which way is it? It seems to differ based on the question that the Christian is answering.

hi Mark, I agree with what you said in this video. Everytime I was in a difficult situation, I experienced God's presence even more and He always helped me in every situation no matter how impossible it seemed. The bigger the problem was, the greater the miracle that I experienced which then strengthen my faith from time to time. I have gone through many seemingly impossible situations so now I can share to my friends of how great God is. And now I can handle difficult situations without feeling worried knowing that God is always there with me.
I used the concept of turn the other cheek - Big mistake - when you turn the other cheek evil rubs there hands together.

I have gone through this phase and often felt overwhelmed by it.God is sovereign upon the rising of the sun to the death of a sparrow or plant, to what concerns man and everything else and even when good and bad things happen.
My offence stands in the way of knowing who God is and understanding that I relate to Him as God not a person.
I believe he allows a certain level and window of time for suffering. But then there's that suffering that never ends. It's too strong, too much and neverending. God has nothing to do with the latter. God will allow some suffering but it's the suffering that drives a soul to death spiritually. A person to off themselves. That is not of God. But he allows that suffering to IMO. God is not fair. Innocent ppl suffering at the hands of predators and he never steps in.
