I have never heard God’s voice in my life not once. I am 58 years old and I wish I could, if I did it would probably change my life.
God communicates with us in various ways. Whenever you read the Bible, He's speaking to you every time because, the Bible is the word of God.
@@slimdude2011 I gave my life to Christ about 3 years ago. Started taking my relationship with him a lot more serious a couple of months back, started fasting and reading my Bible just about every day, sometimes multiple times a day, but I still cant seem to hear God in any way. It’s quite miserable because I’m in need of so much help, like healing and restoration etc. I don’t know what to do. I really need help from the Lord.
@@YT-Pablo God speaks in various of ways and all I know for sure is that when I know something is from God that particular thing catches my attention. Especially if I’m reading the Bible. If a specific verse or verses in the Bible relate to my situation right now I know that’s what God was speaking to me.
@@YT-Pablo Also always pray before reading the word! Ask the Holy Spirit to guide you and teach you so you can interpret what you are reading correctly l.
bro i never heard God's voice neither, but i have had many answers, through visions, through dreams, through other people. and whenever i needed an answer on an important matter, i always received it. sometimes i dont get an answer, meaning that what i asked for was not important enough to receive the answer.
What do you do when you have never felt any connection?
I pray and nothing happens. I don't even know if God has heard anything. I've prayed that He be my Lord and Savior, for forgiveness, all those things, and nothing.
The only thing I hear constantly is the "test pattern" in my head from tinnitus.
Was talking to someone about this the other day, people need to be careful that they don’t mistake their inner voice for God’s voice. We can know the Bible, pray about something, and think God had given us an answer we want when it was our inner voice giving us the answer we want.

Hmm so true. But I’d also like to point out that: we have been given the mind of Christ (1 Corinthians 2:16). So sometimes our thoughts rly are from God. BUT I believe that the more we seek the Lord the more our thoughts will align with Him, and the less we seek him the more our thoughts will just be us or the devil. Thought it might be helpful to keep that in mind :)

@IchWeetNicht if it's not biblical it's not from God. Things God is not going to do is tell someone to sin, send them someone's spouse, tell them to steal, to lie. I have heard people say they prayed for a partner then God sent someone and the person they said God sent them was married to someone else.

Ahhh God is so good. I was literally praying the other day and feeling disconnected from my Heavenly Father. I do know why but I was really trying to avoid this video...I’m glad I didn’t. Thank you Mark for your continued obedience in Christ.

I was diagnosed with an anxiety disorder and didnt go away until I received a deliverance (someone casting demons out of me in the name of jesus like the apostles in the book of acts)
I fasted and prayed for years and only de deliverance healed me . I Highly recommend searching about what a deliverance is and search for someone to do the deliverance on you .

And you can write « isaiah saldivar deliverance map » on google to find someone to do deliverance on you
I see you, brothers and sisters who, your hearts were not still. I was there too.
I still struggle with hearing His voice too, I was afraid my heart was hardened and there was no way for me to be saved, it hit me real hard and I was so scared.. then a day or two later, I prayed to the Holy Spirit and I felt this warmth in my chest and happiness overcome me, I started slightly trembling and couldn't sit in one place.. that's how I know God is still with me and that I am still His child.
I felt that exact same warmth as well!
I love the part you spoke about being able to recognize a person's voice (wife, children, etc) because you become familiar with them. So no matter what the message was, you can recognize the source of the voice. I'm sure I've probably been guilty of "selective hearing" too lol.

I keep trying to tell you how God completely healed me from anxiety but it keeps getting deleted ?
The Deliverance ministry (casting out demons out of people) is biblical and it is what completely healed my anxiety . No amount of praying and fasting worked on me because I needed deliverance in the name of jesus .

I have a 2yo son who I love immensely. I can’t image hearing my son cry out “daddy! daddy!” and not rush to him to speak to him; to not ask him “yes, son what is it?” I can’t image having communication issues with my son because we need to work on our relationship first or because he did something wrong. These can’t be the reasons why we don’t hear God. These reasons don’t comport with a loving father. Surely, the love in the father is greater than the love I have for my son. Let’s be honest and admit we don’t know why we can’t hear the father.

I am now hearing god again in my mind because I was sinning and until about 9 months passed I said I was a fool and I have been praying to god and I first started the video I heard him say “chandler... you are no bad child of mine we all sin’d before.” I feel great after hearing him speak out to me and I am ready to power through!

I’m struggling with this. I was saved years ago but I strayed from God. I’m not a bad person but just didn’t go to church or read my Bible or anything for a long time. Years. Recently l, I felt the need to strengthen my relationship with God. I found a church I love. Started reading my Bible almost daily and praying daily. It’s all been great and I am happy but sometimes I feel like I’m praying to open air. I hear people talk all the time, my preacher especially, about how they have conversations with God on a daily basis. I know they don’t mean they literally talk back and forth with God. But they must be getting something to feel that way. I want that. But a lot of the times, I don’t feel it is happening.
try asking specific important question, then ask what chapter/verse on bible you should read. then wait till you feel it popped up. read it then ask Him to give you wisdom to understand it. now you have comversation with Him. like: is this means the answer is xxxx God? then you can feel His confirmation.

I don't know why God never really speaks to me. My little brother has heard God's voice more than I have. It really confused me it really made me start thinking.... How comes he speaks to my little brother more than me? am I even close to him I always talk to him now and then I pray I read 5 pages of the bible on Friday's when I have the time. Through Saturday and Sunday. Please help me why can't I not hear him earlier today my little brother said I'm the back of his mind he heard someone I am here I a am hear...... If you backslide, you loose your salvation, period, but God forgives and can restore your relationship with Him if you repent.
A Christian cannot lose their salvation,
The word backslider is not in the new testament, it is old testament referring to the israelites that turned their backs on God!!.

I have only once heard the voice of God and that was a year ago. I was very very sick going into chemotherapy from breast cancer. I was in the darkest moments of despair, very scared of the unknown scared of the pain and everything I had to go through and that was when I heard God‘s voice and I have wanted to hear more of him ever since and never been able to. I feel like maybe I’m doing something wrong maybe I’m not holy enough or what can it Be??

John D yes, i realized he’s always spoken to me. God is so great and big that he doesn’t move or speak or work in just one way. he can speak to somebody through His word, through His Spirit especially, through somebody else and when He speaks, you will know it is Him, especially when your flesh doesn’t feel compelled to follow that voice but the Spirit is leading you - that is God trying to speak to you, brother.

I love your videos. Because they provide guidance for questions about the faith. The only thing is, I don't agree with the statement that God doesn't talk to those who haven't become a believe in him. I know for sure that God was speaking too me when I wasn't fully Christian.
Paul is an example. He was Saul and was completely against "Christians" or disciples yet still God spoke too him in a vision. God did a similar thing with me, He came to me with a prophetic vision which came through 2 weeks later. I could speak in tongues before I committed my life too Jesus. I have heard of many atheist's and agnostics who can attest too God speaking to them before they gave their lives too Jesus.
I believe God calls non believers when they are unsaved but a non believer would not have a relational conversation with God for guidance as you can't come to the Father except through Jesus, Ephesians 3:12 "In him and through faith in him we may approach God with freedom and confidence."

2. They are only listening to hear a certain thing or to hear what they want
3. Not asking specific questions
4. Your world is too loud and your heart is not still
5. You could be running from God and running to sin

Excellent video Mark I have a prayer request. I have been in this loose connection with God. My anxiety and my impatience with finding a good paying job has brought me a little irritated at God. I know it's not him it's me He wants a strong bond with me. That is how I have been feeling recently. I also haven't been in church for around 7 months I know I should be in church again but just haven't.

Yeah I feel what you are saying.. I believe nooo one really knows so they shouldn’t answer why he doesn’t talk to us.. they say you need to have a relationship with him.. we’ll relationships require both parties communicating with each other… and this whole thing about speaking to one thru others is not acceptable.. no middle person needed.. I believe in GOD however I don’t think anyone really have a concrete answer just assumptions on how GOD talks to us

I heard gods voice, he said to me it's not your time yet,..I was at the airport 4 years ago and I got stopped at the boarder ...that's when he spoke to me
TIME spent in your closet ALONE in The Word of God. We do indeed crowd God out. We must choose to spend the time necessary with our Lord in His Word and in prayer. Probably Mark's most important video.
