@@KingoftheRoad-2023the only wood I didn't like was the main kitchen and pass-through wet bar. Didn't care for the cabinets at all, although maybe they would look better in person. And the wood around the outside of the garage doors was a bit much. Other than that, I liked it.

I prefer the grey, I'm not a fan of wood or art and I don't care that much about colors and style, if that makes me dead then I guess it makes sense lol. I'm pretty sure the majority of LA "average" modern homes are still easily sold because people only look for functional and not character, and I understand it.
I kept seeing these long black slots in the ceiling, but you didn’t talk about them. Do TVs pop down from there? Or are these part of the HVAC system? Maybe you can put track lights in them?

the way since the japanese inspired house i’ve never liked a property like until this one.i’m not surprised that it’s the same company. they are the best
What I absolutely love about this designer, something I noticed in the Japanese inspired home too, is that this "inspiration" it's tastefully done, it's not stereotypical and tacky, it's subtle and elegant. For a home to be Japanese inspired it doesn't need to have a giant Buddha statue in the center, or if it is Scandinavian a sculpture of Thor's hammer, a culture is more than the stereotypical symbols that people usually associated with it.
This is one of my favorite designed homes from an aesthetic and philosophical perspective. I love all of the wood grains and the use of "rough" edges and worn wood, especially in that bookcase shelves around the 4 minute mark.
First I want to, once again, commend the cinematography and editing team; the ultra high quality, artistically-inspired footage of this team is demonstrably the best in the business, by leaps and bounds. Second, the Scandinavian design has always held an appeal to me, something about it is equally organic and pragmatic, no muss no fuss, just practical, aesthetically pleasing surroundings without pretense. Third, hats off to the architect and planning teams, being able to get this size of a house AND landscape amenities snugly into a 0.92 acre lot is mindblowing.
This is definitely my one of my favourite homes you've toured on this channel! The light and airy scandinavian style and incredible design makes this property truly feel like a home and I can imagine myself living in a home like this one day. Awesome job Enes and Team!

This just might be the coziest house I have seen lately. It is so zen, peaceful and almost spiritual that it feels like a sanctuary away from the madness of modern life. This house is heavily therapeutic and I am all for it. The earthen feel is next level while still remaining very modern. Genius. Absolutely genius.

Absolutely massive but still very livable. The whole house has a very peaceful feel to it and, as a huge plus, it actually had places to put books. I love the herringbone bathroom floors as well. Another good one! PS loved the whole video. Mikey is the master property video maker.
This has to be one of the best houses we had the pleasure to get presented by you and your team! It's a big house but not huge and also one of those properties that still look and feel like a home. Some of those ultra big and luxury mansion don't feel like practical homes and more like investments/statements. Also some of those mega mansions seem like the architecture actively hinders you in living in it (stark angles, only made to measure appliances and so on). In contrast this house seems to be really great family home apart from being really luxurious. I neither live in the USA nor do I currently have the spare change for a home like this, but if I had the opportunity, I'd definitely would consider to live in this amazing house! Also I absolutely love the presentation and production quality, whenever I get the feeling you reached the pinnacle the next video feels even better! Please keep up the great work and entertain us with great properties like this one in the future!
@@saibot1221 I agree with you, Scandinavian design is more than birch, oak, and herringbone parquet floors combined with stone. I expected perhaps more granite than limestone. The house is obviously beautiful since it is newly built, but much of what makes the design is the practicality in the choice of materials and the function of the house. This time, it was more of a beautiful house with a lot of wooden interior. One of the reasons for core-wood clad houses is their ability to withstand the Scandinavian climate with really cold winters, autumns with a lot of wind, frequent rain, and relatively warm summer days. This causes the wood to age in a very beautiful way, turning gray/silverish with a nice patina. I wonder how the Californian heat causes the wood to warp and just turn yellow after a couple of years.

Honestly one of the most beautiful homes I’ve ever seen. The entrance alone was so atmospheric and awesome. The cozy and rustic Scandinavian elements mixed with modern minimalism is truly inviting and unique. I would definitely buy a home like that if I had millions of dollars to spend

Is from Sweden. The white and blue plaid bed is from Hästens säng. An expensive luxury brand. They deliver beds to the Royal Family. They make the best and coziest beds, and if I could afford one I could nap on it for days.

I love big homes but then I hear staffing, then I am fine with under 5k sqft indoor space. Nothing is worse than having strangers-housekeeping come in and out of your private home. This is very well designed but in Encino….ugh! CA in general is just badly managed right now. Thank you for another great home tour. You guys rock! Great home spa! The design would be way more desirable without the bowling alley and the extra guest suites and down with single storey. The Hasten king bed add to the Scandie luxe feel in the master bedroom.
I love the natural and modern feeling with the wood, big windows, the plants, the stone and water. Also the white fits really well with the black parts of the windows and the wood. Is it worth the money? Probably not. Would i buy it if i had the money? Yes

The walk in closet and primary suite alone just capture that warm home feeling so well. I actually could see someone enjoying all of that space every day. I love the primary suite bathrooms and showers it is just stunning!! I don't think I'd ever live a lifestyle which would have me using or needing that kind of space but wow to see it sure is nice. What a beautiful home.
The Facade looks exactly the same! I was like Oh! Is it the Shou sugi ban house! And then by the pool, that does not look like the other pool at all, Mike goes “oh.. NOW you might be remembering the other house!! Misse the shou sugi ban though! Could live in either of the homes!

Once again great production and overall a beautiful home. The cinema room looks kind of badly planned though, at least that first row of seating appears pretty much unusable because of the height difference between the sofa and the screen
Yup, this really stuck out to me, the screen was way too high and it looked like the last row was the only one where you would get a decent view of the screen. Loved everything else about the house, but the theater stuck out like a sore thumb with really poor planning

I just wanted to point out that the gorgeous bed in the Primary bedroom is not a plaid comforter but a very unique luxury hand-built bed created by Hästens and I believe this model is called the Vividus. The style and certain elements are very on brand to Jae Omar, and it's absolutely beautiful. What I absolutely love about this designer, something I noticed in the Japanese inspired home too, is that this "inspiration" it's tastefully done, it's not stereotypical and tacky, it's subtle and elegant. For a home to be Japanese inspired it doesn't need to have a giant Buddha statue in the center, or if it is Scandinavian a sculpture of Thor's hammer, a culture is more than the stereotypical symbols that people usually associated with it.
This is one of my favorite designed homes from an aesthetic and philosophical perspective. I love all of the wood grains and the use of "rough" edges and worn wood, especially in that bookcase shelves around the 4 minute mark.
First I want to, once again, commend the cinematography and editing team; the ultra high quality, artistically-inspired footage of this team is demonstrably the best in the business, by leaps and bounds.
Second, the Scandinavian design has always held an appeal to me, something about it is equally organic and pragmatic, no muss no fuss, just practical, aesthetically pleasing surroundings without pretense.
Third, hats off to the architect and planning teams, being able to get this size of a house AND landscape amenities snugly into a 0.92 acre lot is mindblowing.

This just might be the coziest house I have seen lately. It is so zen, peaceful and almost spiritual that it feels like a sanctuary away from the madness of modern life. This house is heavily therapeutic and I am all for it. The earthen feel is next level while still remaining very modern. Genius. Absolutely genius.

Absolutely massive but still very livable. The whole house has a very peaceful feel to it and, as a huge plus, it actually had places to put books. I love the herringbone bathroom floors as well. Another good one!

Los Angeles Homes are always stunning, but with Enes and his cameraman is 10 times better!
This has to be one of the best houses we had the pleasure to get presented by you and your team! It's a big house but not huge and also one of those properties that still look and feel like a home. Some of those ultra big and luxury mansion don't feel like practical homes and more like investments/statements. Also some of those mega mansions seem like the architecture actively hinders you in living in it (stark angles, only made to measure appliances and so on). In contrast this house seems to be really great family home apart from being really luxurious.
I neither live in the USA nor do I currently have the spare change for a home like this, but if I had the opportunity, I'd definitely would consider to live in this amazing house!
Also I absolutely love the presentation and production quality, whenever I get the feeling you reached the pinnacle the next video feels even better! Please keep up the great work and entertain us with great properties like this one in the future!

as a scandinavian this feels more hyper-modern LA than scandinavian inspired. its a beautiful home but i expected more nordic touches.
@@saibot1221 I agree with you, Scandinavian design is more than birch, oak, and herringbone parquet floors combined with stone. I expected perhaps more granite than limestone. The house is obviously beautiful since it is newly built, but much of what makes the design is the practicality in the choice of materials and the function of the house. This time, it was more of a beautiful house with a lot of wooden interior.
One of the reasons for core-wood clad houses is their ability to withstand the Scandinavian climate with really cold winters, autumns with a lot of wind, frequent rain, and relatively warm summer days. This causes the wood to age in a very beautiful way, turning gray/silverish with a nice patina. I wonder how the Californian heat causes the wood to warp and just turn yellow after a couple of years.

Is from Sweden. The white and blue plaid bed is from Hästens säng. An expensive luxury brand. They deliver beds to the Royal Family. They make the best and coziest beds, and if I could afford one I could nap on it for days.

Gorgeous home, but the realtor doesn't even realize that mattress in the primary suite is without sheets to show that it is one of the most expensive mattress's made. They think its the mattress cover. 😂 😂
I love big homes but then I hear staffing, then I am fine with under 5k sqft indoor space. Nothing is worse than having strangers-housekeeping come in and out of your private home. This is very well designed but in Encino….ugh! CA in general is just badly managed right now. Thank you for another great home tour. You guys rock! Great home spa! The design would be way more desirable without the bowling alley and the extra guest suites and down with single storey. The Hasten king bed add to the Scandie luxe feel in the master bedroom.

I love the natural and modern feeling with the wood, big windows, the plants, the stone and water. Also the white fits really well with the black parts of the windows and the wood. Is it worth the money? Probably not. Would i buy it if i had the money? Yes

The walk in closet and primary suite alone just capture that warm home feeling so well. I actually could see someone enjoying all of that space every day. I love the primary suite bathrooms and showers it is just stunning!! I don't think I'd ever live a lifestyle which would have me using or needing that kind of space but wow to see it sure is nice. What a beautiful home.

Once again great production and overall a beautiful home. The cinema room looks kind of badly planned though, at least that first row of seating appears pretty much unusable because of the height difference between the sofa and the screen
Yup, this really stuck out to me, the screen was way too high and it looked like the last row was the only one where you would get a decent view of the screen. Loved everything else about the house, but the theater stuck out like a sore thumb with really poor planning
Always an irritating thing to see: with TVs and cinema screens.

Because it's a french word and we don't pronounce the r at the end. "er" is read "é" so, when you don't pronounce r you actually pronounce it correctly

I just wanted to point out that the gorgeous bed in the Primary bedroom is not a plaid comforter but a very unique luxury hand-built bed created by Hästens and I believe this model is called the Vividus. It ranges in price anywhere from $100,000 upwards to $150,000, depending on the bespoke customizations. These beds are literally the best beds in the World. It makes absolute perfect sense that it would be here in this phenomenal home as they are hand-built with the best natural materials in Sweden. I believe this is the first home that I've seen in all of your tours, that features a Hästens bed being staged in the Primary. Very extraordinary!

I will never forget Jae Omar's style. The Onin house is my absolute dream and I don't go a month without thinking about it. The style and certain elements are very on brand to Jae Omar, and it's absolutely beautiful. Personally, Onin and the Zero Carbon Malibu house completely outmatches everything else I've seen thus far, but this and everything else is so beautiful. I can't get enough.
