- In this Fishing Challenge, I take you guys winter fishing with me at a local body of water with a Lighter Fishing Rod! The objective is to try to catch fish with this rod, and then to cook the fish with this lighter rod!

If you fish like i do, you know the smaller and less stuff the better. I’ve added a photo of just some of my gear so you can see how serious i am about fishing.

With all the mild temperatures I’ve still been able to dig up night crawlers. U should try it when it rains because its a rare opportunity to find them in the ground this time of year and a lot of bait shops barely have any worms in the winter
When you have some left over from a trip, dump them near some bushes or a place with a lot of leaves and the soil is moist. Then in the winter when you need them, dig them up. I did this at my apt and now I have an endless supply lol

Awesome vid Mike and it would be awesome if you did a golden shiner, and fall fish catch n cook and I have tried them and they taste like basic white fish flavor but with a lot of bones
As soon as I saw that pad of butter I knew it was too much lol. Winter bluegill is some of the best freshwater tasty fish there is though.

Oh, and you should look into making a night crawler farm, there’s UA-cam vids on how to do it easily and really cheap, then you have live bait year round. You can do this with a few live baits aswell

Good place man! I’ve caught some big blue gill out there! Also, bullhead catfish and bass from that smaller lake area. They will tear up raw chicken breast in cherry kool aid mix. A good spot is on the parking lot side by the tree just before the grass there.

I know this is an old video but I just watched it and this was another awesome video. I love that fishing pole lighter that is the most awesome lighter ever and you should put it with your grenade kit. I would love to have one of those lighters. I’m a 61 year old women and I love to go fishing but yeah I really would love to have one of those lighters. Keep making those videos they are awesome videos.

Your worm bedding is free? Where? Thought you wrote that it's cheap. So it seems "technically" you have to buy it.
I've got a small worm farm my 9 yr old likes to play with. I just dump my leftover worms in after fishing. I just use topsoil from Home Depot and sprinkle oatmeal on the surface whenever I remember. It's easy and some of the night crawlers have grown huge!

Hey I’m in Alaska and we have a lot of Canadian night crawlers at Walmart which are huge and know one uses them because it’s ice fishing season so I could ship you some.

U should do the crappi rod challenge. They sell them at cabbalas and bass pro it’s a plunger micro pole that actuality functions
