- In this Fishing Challenge, I take you guys with me to the local FLEA MARKET to see what fishing gear steals we can find within our budget of $20!!! We then take our new gear out to test it in the waters and see if we can catch fish on our FLEA MARKET FINDS!

If you fish like i do, you know the smaller and less stuff the better. I’ve added a photo of just some of my gear so you can see how serious i am about fishing.

you should try using joe's flies spinners, they're really versatile and can catch a bunch of different species, they work really well where I live and the fish just attack the spinner

I recommend to keep going back to the same market every time. That way, overtime u are building a relationship with them, which could potentially lead to better deals. Good stuff man, love the vids!

Hello from a new subscriber from New York City. Thank you for the content! Some of those rods and reels at the beginning of your video are vintage and excellent to use. I have been using my fathers vintage gear and buying NOS and fixable gear via eBay and sending them to this senior gentleman, Dennis, who has a UA-cam channel called “2nd Chance Tackle”. The gent is a walking wiki on vintage reel repair/current reel repair. Easy to follow videos. I would recommend trying some vintage gear to fish with...its totally different experience using gear that saw action years ago. Enjoy and be well !

Dude try using a backpack with tackle boxes. It helps cause you can carry more then just tackle. Camera stuff, clothes, backup stuff for emergencies( cuts,bites,broken bones). I am only saying it cause I fish alone alot and had a ton of bad things happen. You never know when you will hook yourself and the barb won't go back out.
Lets see you do a find and fish. Go to your local creek, check out the stuff left behind by other fisherman. Take a few hooks no need to harm the fish incase what you find is rusty. Use that to catch something. Or make your own bait challenge.

That Status is a good reel. it's a Dicks/Field and Stream Store house brand from Okuma. I have one I use and it's a good reel. They retail around $30-$40.
