Did it help with fuel pressure? I changed mine in 1.6 ecoboost 2014 mondeo (it's the same engine) i have 170k miles and my tappet was looking similar to Yours (no significant wear, only a little changed colour), after mounting new no difference at all. So I wonder does the change make any difference?
Got told of my tuners that if the bucket isn’t damaged/overly worn to leave it as fitting a new part to a old cam could cause more wear to the cam itself I no there’s a massive thing going on about these at the moment hahah anyway nice video pal easier to understand than the aet if I’m honest and what miles you on ?
Brows and mirror caps I like. The suns trip however is a no from me pal. But as long as your happy with it then that’s what matters. What mileage is it on anyway for that to be replaced?
Sweet video Lewis from what I’ve been led to believe the car should sound quieter on tickover when you replace the cam bucket. I will keep your video as a reference for when I do mine cheers 🍻
Hey thanks for your video..! I have done 65000km (40k miles) from brand new and I drive it pretty hard most of the time and no loss of of power that I can tell.. Yet anyway.. What mileage do they recommend replacing this part?? Thanks
There is no official recommended mileage to do it at. There are too many variables such as driving style and how tuned the engine is. I have seen one friend change theres at 80k km and it was absolutely fine. Another had some fuel pressure issues at about 110k km and it was quite worn. Mine is at 74k km showing no issues but I am just going to do it because I have the time. So, I wouldn't be too worried about changing yours immediately.
Awesome video mate! I should probably get mine done I’m on 42k miles now 😂
You made it very easy to install, thanks for the video. I have ordered mine and have yet to install it, thought it would be very difficult to do

Hey mate I don't know if it's a placebo but ever since you've mentioned that I've noticed the car, while idling is much much quieter.
Frosty Fez do you mind me asking what mileage is on your car?
Nice video man!
What are the symptoms of failure? Mines on 52.6k and my engine has started making a horrid noise.
What kind of noise was it?
Good vid, i am ready for doing mine but I noticed you did not set the pulley to 3 clock like AET video ?
Thanks mate. Not sure why they done that to be honest, didn't make a difference for me.
Awesome bro
Aryt mate did u get this on finance if so mate how much are you monthly payments I'm looking to maby getting ford fiesta st?
Have you got to move the crank position at all???
Good vid m8 where did u get the eyebrows from looks sweet 👍
my ST's done 124k miles, can help me determine what happens if this becomes an issue? Cheers.
Not sure mate just good maintenance. You can lose fuel pressure if its shagged and worst case lose your engine
If you're down on power it's a good idea to do this as a troubleshoot

Anyone know if a cobra 2.5 will fit the stock dp?
There was no need to put a new bucket in that
if its worth taking out to inspect it, its worth replacing cos there only cheap
Least it got done
