I've double checked the numbers of thread exposed on how it was before and how it is now, now it's sitting on the perfect amount of thread to the left which is how they advertise the turbo and how the other ones are calibrated :) Of course I will be checking the boost pressures ASAP (tonight)
I also changed to a new wastegate actuator, but i would do it never again. its such a pain because no one would make this work correct if any work is done at all.

You don't really want to be messing around with the actuator if you haven't got a boost gauge. Sure fire way of over boosting and blowing your motor.

I thought it had to be the way it was setup. Most of the time it’s something or nothing. Glad it’s all good mate
Glad its sorted mate you could tell it was pulling better the camera flew backward's aha always a good sign.
Welldone for giving it a go and getting it sorted. Sounded like the car became an animal after adjusting the waste gate. 🙂
easiest way is obd2 that connects to phone tells you your Bar/psi
That's a cool idea mate. Is it very accurate too?
Frosty Fez it should show you exactly what your ECU is reading from your boost presssure/map sensor I’d assume.
Obd2 will only show 1.5bar of boost max as that is a diagnosis limit of the obd2
David Browne incorrect it will read what you map sensor reads, and yes it’s works brilliant frosty

Any decent tuner should have checked your boost pressure straight away.. questionable stuff mate.. choose your mechanics wisely
