I keep going to the local shops every year and shooting all the latest bow but can't bring myself to buy one when my old RX-4 Turbo (@65#) will also sling a 505gr 260fps. Of course the new HBX cams are smoother but after thousands of shots with the 4 turbo it doesn't bother me. I'm sure one day I'll walk out with a new one!
We all have that bow that we just gel with, it’s almost apart of us when we in the bush.

Your speeds seem too fast. My RX8. 29” 85% 69.98# 538 grain is at 254 FPS
Always possible but Magnum Archery tunes and test all their bows on this Chrono and I’ve tested some of my bows on different Chrono and spits out speeds within 2-3 fps.
I did set the bow to 72lbs maybe those 2 pounds could have made a difference.
What’s your thoughts on the RX8? I think they fantastic bows💪🏼
Love the RX8. I have two of them. I also have two alpha X 30. No way I get 250 fps at 27.5” at 70# with a 580 gr arrow on any of them. I am using the new Garmin chronograph. Very accurate.
