Bow Build For Long Range Accuracy | Total Archery Challenge

Shooting long range with a bow is a ton of fun. Since we are headed out to the Total Archery Challenge we wanted to do a bow build specific for targets set up at longer ranges. So we are doing a full bow build designed with just that in mind, long range accuracy at TAC!

I’m shooting a V3x 33 at 65#/80% with a Hamskea epsilon, black gold single pin, flatline stabs, and victory rip xv at 346 grains. My arrow will clear my sight out to 140 yards. Just shot mountain archery fest in Kentucky and my arrows flew very well.

Shooting my hunting bow - PSE Inertia set @ 29" 50 lbs ( shoulder surgery) with a Trophy Ridge Fix 5 site, QAD Hunter rest, Asher front & rear stabs. Shooting Easton Hexx 400's @ 330 grains. Still getting 280 fps with the low weight, Shooting @ Oklahoma TAC this coming weekend - Leupold course (60 yard max) with my hunting setup.

I’ll be taking two bows. I’ll be shooting my Mathews Lift 33, Ultraview slider with single pin cartridge (bridge lock mount), Hamskea Epsilon rest, Black Eagle X-impact arrows (360 TAW), 10in front and 8in rear bridge lock stabs on Friday. Saturday I’ll be shooting my Bowtech Core SR, Hamskea Epsilon rest, UltraView Slider (single pin cartridge), Black Eagle X-impact arrows (360 grain TAW), 10in Beestinger front bar and 8in Beestinger on rear.
