Deia to Cala Deia, MALLORCA - An Easy Hiking Route

- In this video, I'll show the route from DEIA to CALA DEIA, Mallorca and show you an easy hiking route. If you are planning a holiday in this beautiful hilltop town or just planning a day trip, I will show you how to make the most of your stay with a walk from Deia Village to the beautiful Cala Deia beach.
The video starts at the church high in Deia's old town (otherwise known as Deya Majorca), as I show you where we will be walking.
I'll then head to town to the start of this short hike, and take you with me on my journey to Cala Deia.
You will see how easy the walk is and if this is something you will be interested in doing when you come on holiday.
I'll then show you what Cala Deia is like and give you an idea about the two restaurants in Cala.

It's definitely a lovely part of the island, and walking this route is so much less stressful than driving. Especially in the Summer!

Stunning scenery! Loved the cat street art! The water was so astonishingly aqua blue in the sun! If I win the lottery I will be sure to visit on my super yacht!

What a super video, I had never thought of walking down to Cala Deia, the walk & destination look fantastic. You are right to point out the importance of correct footwear.

Very informative! Did I see a car park at the very beginning of the hike down? Right before the gate.
You did, but that belongs ot the Hotel des Puig.. there is parking on the roadside and in the car parks in the village.
My issue with this hike is that the parking lot in Deia is 2 hours max, I believe. I feel I wouldn't have enough time for the hike, swim and eat there
Park on the entrance or exit of Deia (ie. not in the car parks) but on the side of the road. Or take the bus and avoid parking fees.
Cala Deia is like the emperors new clothes, it’s definitely not a beach it’s very small and in summer it’s really really crowded, the restaurant is worth the walk but you’ll not get out for less than €100 which is expensive for a beach bar. Mallorca has some beautiful beaches this is not one of them, I just wish some UA-camr or instagramer would speak the truth about it.
Wow, well that is your opinion. I love the water here. Cold, clear and refreshing. I love the walk down too from the town. But I won't be visiting in July (I have said it'll be busy). A cheaper meal can be had in Can Llluch. Sorry this video wasn't to your liking!
