do it as often as possible, I miss my mom and trust me that in the end missed adventures together stick with you much longer than the ones we were fortunate enough to share. I think I want to rephrase that... In the end, we remember the time we spent with love ones but we never forget the missed opportunities...
I couldn’t agree with you more. I lost my mom a few months ago and these holidays are rough. At least when I lost my dad I still had my mom and I don’t care how old you get there’s just an empty place where your mom was in your life.
I cried a little when your mom said”Now what am I gonna do?” At the end. Amazing woman! Glad you got to share the end with her! ❤
This was so beautiful to watch. You and your mom laughing and covering your faces with your hands exactly the same way. I love the bond you have with her. What a way to spend a birthday, on an adventure with the person who loves you the most. Loved it!
Linnea, I have watched every single one of your videos in the last two years. I don’t think I am alone in saying you are living a dream, for many of us. Due to health and other circumstances, I am not sure I will ever achieve this dream. Still, thank you, from the bottom of my soul, for sharing your beautiful life with all of us, and for giving so much joy in such a realist way. You have an eye for raw beauty in your film and as someone who yearns for adventure, you bring so much comfort. I look forward to everything you have in store and send best wishes for your journey. Your mom inspires me. I’m in my 40s and am finding out what aging really is and my focus on my health has shifted to longevity and prolonging my ability to move and explore well into my 50s, 60s, and 70s. She is the epitome of what I want to be “when I grow up”. ❤ thanks for sharing a part of their journey!

I walked the Portuguese Camino and it was amazing to see some of the amazing places I remember walking, I think the same lady was herding her cows when I was there. I walked it by myself and met so many amazing pilgrims but walking with your mom is so much more amazing! Buen Camino. Thanks for sharing!
Love the closeness your mom and you have she s an amazing women happy you and her did this walk such beautiful memories this will be. and no doubt fun . Your mom did a great job explaining to us what this walk was all about, pretty cool that you get a stamp showing where youve been and get a meal along with that , very interesting id love this. and a certificate is even better. love the variouse place's you stayed in and how acomidating the people are WOW. loved the women walking the cow's lol, the scenery is beautiful throughout of this country . I did the way, starting from Pied de port. My biggest regret is not having an open air ticket, as I wanted to continue on to Finisterre. Congrats to your mom and friend.

Watching you with your mom warms my heart and breaks it at the same time. Today marks the 3 year anniversary of my mom’s passing and I miss her so much! Cherish every moment!!! Take advantage of every opportunity to spend time with her! I was very close to my mom. She was my best friend and I was hers. I loved the video and how you speak of her and tell her story!
Sorry you lost your Mama! Breaks my heart too only for a different reason, my mother was unkind and not adventurous so I avidly watched with longing. You got the blessing of being close to a loving mom, hold that in your heart and let it bring you comfort till you see her again.

Happy belated Birthday 🎉❤😊Linnea xx & lots of love to your mom ,now I know where you get your strength & determination from your mom is an amazing woman & I wish I had memories like that to treasure, my mom passed away in September of 2000 from Cancer & I feel that I only really got to know my mom when it was to late ,it leaves me sad 😔 & empty most days ,& I recently lost my dad too! So now @ nearly 60 yrs I feel truly alone like an orphan would feel I suppose, but when I see how beautiful your relationship is with your mom I am grateful for the life she gave to me or I would never have had my daughter Carly ❤️ whom I also have a really strong bond with we are like sisters , hope you enjoyed the rest of your holiday & journey together with your mom ,Linnea life is so precious enjoy yourselves & have a few drinks together because you 2 are so amazing to watch ,& I feel honoured to have shared this precious time with you both ❤️ God bless you both your friend & Vivid fan from the UK Linda Dunn & my daughter Carly xxxx❤😊

Linnea your so lucky to be physically able to do this and to do it with your mom. Sometimes I watch people doing things I'm not able to do but I get to enjoy it through your eyes makes me feel better. I lost my mom over a year ago.

Hi Linnea , In the UK i follow ...married VANLIFERS (Janine & Liam Day of “Those Days”); they are NOW also currently walking the Camino de Santiago nearing the end of their pilgrimage. Wow how cool is that 2 separate Vanlifers I follow from different countries( yourself & Liam/Janine) in Spain doing the same thing at the same time. Amazing if you all were to meet 🙏🏻 . Doing the Camino was a totally amazing experience for me last year. I lived the "what am I going to do now" blues for several weeks afterwards. Now I'm planning the Via de la Plata from Seville next spring. Thanks for reminding me of the magic.
I met some other amazingly strong women and I would have loved to have met your mum (I did my Camino to celebrate my 60th birthday).

The genuine laughs and the amazing connection you have with your mom (and your family) in general are some of my favorite things to watch. Like, yes, the views are amazing but sharing your family has been such a gift. After a tough work month for me, I laughed along with you two last night so thank you for that. What an amazing trip. I did the full 500 miles . Northern route 2019. Changed my life. I am now a full time nomad, living full time in a 27' Travel trailer with my husband and 3 dogs. Life is grand!
