Wow wow wow Alex! Those views were stunning I can’t believe how quiet and peaceful the whole area was. And as for lunch cheese and branston a dream come true. Loved watching this
Awww thanks Tommy - you can take the Brit out of Britain, but don't go replacing my Branston Pickle with jamon serano ;) Walking this route made me realise that if you're looking for peace in Soller this is where you can find it. Up in the hills.
Thank You for the nice virtual travel. I follow your trips from Buenos Aires since some months and I have to say that your videos are very nice to see. Good musicalized and charm. I hope I learn some british accent hearng you. Have a nice day . I see you on the next video . Good bye.
Andres, WELCOME to the Mallorca Under the Sun community from all the way in Buenos Aires! It's lovely to have you here and thank you so much for watching!
Luvly scenery done rail from Palma then tram if 40 years younger would. Done but now train will do I will walk with you Nd enjoy scenery 😅 take care great stuff roll on July 🎉
That was absolutely amazing, we have never done that particular walk, you pretty much can't have a bad view up there. Sorry you were thwarted in your search for a brew. Thanks Alex, you have made my Dave.
It's true, I'm so used to saying & typing Dave. p.s. I had to watch this video on a big screen because it was so amazing, I can also go back to it in the depths of winter.
What a brilliant video. The views were spectacular. And the orange trees. Daft dream when I was little was to pick one off a tree. 17:00 But couldn’t find any in cala Bona maybe next year 😢
Thanks so much James! There is something about orange and lemon trees when in the U.K. we grow up with apples and pears. I was the same when I first arrived . I just wanted to pick them !
You made my day Alex. Such amazing views that holiday makers rarely see. Those oranges are on private land,so I'm glad you didn't steal my fruit..lol. shame the cafe was shut, dont leave and lose your place in the queue. I'd liked to have seen what meals they serve but I cant have everything. Just truly thankful for the wonderful videos you share with us.😊
Awww, thanks Glyn for that! I would love to return there when it's open to see what it's like. I've heard there is a French tea room there, which means I may have to try and variety of cakes, for research purposes only of course! Hopefully more videos to come over the winter like this! They don't get views, but I love making them (and it's a change of scene!)
@@MallorcaUnderTheSun a real pleasure to watch. Only seen the scenery from the train and this ment a lot to me and bought back memories of the smell of the citrus fruit. 👍🥰
This is such a lovely video! Gorgeous views and especially of the little wooden train. I will definitely try to grr de t over to Mallorca during hiking season for walks like this. Thank you Alex!
Thank you, Alex, what a treat. Another reason why I love the place. Yes, some nice hotels at the top, but you need a car to get anywhere and speak German, really 😉 How about Fornalutx or Biniaraix walk next? ❤🤗
@@MallorcaUnderTheSun Your daughter will do well, then 😉I found most shops in Soller greeted you in German, most of the tourists on the Orange Train were also German, and the hotels on the hill's websites were in German when I looked before ...never a problem, it just seemed to be a common assumption...
Loving your videos, we are planning to stay in Soller on our next visit to Mallorca later this year. What time of year is this please? I will look at your website for excursion ideas.
thank you for this lovely video. My husband and I are going to stay in Soller in April and planning to hike, so this video was very timely for us. How long does the whole walk take?
Oh my goodness what a stunning video. I can’t believe some holidaymakers just fly and flop in Mallorca, this is the real old Mallorca. Some of your filming views looked just like the typical mallorcan oil paintings, just stunning. This makes a great change from the beach views . Thanks Alex, more please.

Great video 👍 just wish we had more flights from Ireland in the winter early spring months 🤞🤩
Agreed ! Scotland and Ireland seem to have some serious flight restrictions at this time of year

Filmed right at the beginning of December!
thank you for this lovely video. My husband and I are going to stay in Soller in April and planning to hike, so this video was very timely for us. How long does the whole walk take?
It depends how quickly you walk. It took us about 4 hours with lots of stopping, looking at views and lunch!
Thanks for your reply. That sounds perfect for us.
And thanks for all the helpful information on Facebook and UA-cam
Wot no tea 🙈
There was a bit of a tea shortage in Mercadona a few weeks back. It was getting worrying!
